Robert99 that is logical according to old maps I have and why encampments stationed East of Woodland Ariel and South of those areas. The FBI focused on what they thought was the drop point and then they had to factor in the wind. How many miles East of the next point being LaCentre was the plane tracked as being. Did the plane make a slight adjustment about that time a little more to the East? I think what confuses a lot of laymen such as myself is when you refer to the Vector rather than what the co-ordinate read. In laymans terms as the plane went further West - did it not start a slight edging to the East of the Vector at that point...state the name of the location by miles from this or that point. Per the route that I was provided the plane was zigaging - why? Why so many turns? The plane was NOT flying a straight line....it made several jags and I believe that is what is confusing to the laymen like myself. Why was it jagging all over the place? Why don't you list the communities from Woodlands to Orchard. Such as the plane was 6 miles East of Heisson at such and such point. Try to think like ordinary people and not a pilot for just a little while and a lot of this would become a lot more clear...and end lots of the repetition. As per the route described why doesn't one make a map with a give and take of 2 minutes - I think this was the down fall. I took the route and put it on a piece of clear plastic and moved it north and West and then South and East - just less than 2 minutes puts the plane at the points of interest mentioned to me in WA by Duane Weber aka John Collins and aka. The minutes is what is off. Try it - like this dummy who knows nothing about navigational lingo. Take into account the verbal positioning versus the relay time of such accountings. I know nothing of these things I just did the dumb bunny thing with the route provided by Sluggo and moved my clear plastic flight path up and down on the same map. There was Grist Mill and cemetary along the Washougal - since Duane mentioned both of those it could be something he read in the media (I have read accounting of these) - but the details he told me were NOT in the media...he described the Grist Mill in detail and the Cemetary. He also pointed out another cementary I never found on any map... or research on old cemetaries....probably because I do not know the point at which he made that statement. I could have been as far South as LaCenter but before we reached Kelso. The other statement he made at the same time was knowning a woman in St. Helens - the same woman he tried to find on our way back when we actually went to St. Helens - her name was Joan Garritty and she had an antiques story in St.Helens.... Himmelsbach told me there was old family cemetaries which had been moved....along the interstate. When I made my trip in 2010 I did go to St. Helen trying to find the woman...I spoke with a historian there and he also told me the same thing about old family cemetaries being moved, but did NOT know if any of them involved Garrity...or another family I mentioned Duane had claimed knowledge of. Your reasoning I do not understand, but I will tell you WHY he chose Tina's bar. Duane had told me about a woman he used to know who lived in the Gresham area of OR. He did not elaborate on that. I will tell you from my knowledge of Duane Weber aka John Collins is that he had a heart and a genuine concern for others. Prior to his meeting me - his friends had nothing but good to say about him - other than a wife he was off and on with from 1972 to 1976...she had nothing good to say about him. The man I met and married was a kind & generous man and he spent the next 17 yrs trying to become all he could be. I will never know what caused the change, but will relate what I think happpened. My daughter in 1977 was the spitting image of Tina Mucklow. We married in 1978 and he was a good husband and an above average father. In 1979 on that trip to WA he may not have known what he was going to do with the damaged money, but I do believe that by making more than one deposit that Tina's Bar was symbolic. He wanted the FBI to think he was dead - and he wanted to set Tina free. When the money was found Tina went into seclusion. Did anyone ever think that perhaps there was a reason he chose Tina's bar as one of the Deposits...Was it symbolic or coincidence? He did make a deposit almost directly across from the PDX (one of these three as best I can judge looking at a map - Topper Dr., Lieser Point or Image Lane) and one at The Red Lion and one at Tina's Bar. The only deposit the FBI ever recovered was Tina's Bar. I believe he made a 4th deposit off of the brigde over to St. Helens in OR. I know HOW he found out were Tina lived. Remember after her divorce in Ca. his ex-wife was working for a credit card company and Duane had communications with her in 1977. I personally put him on the plane to CA for Thankgiving in CA with the ex-wife. When he returned to GA. he told me that when he waved good-bye to her before boarding the plane it was for the last time. I believe she told him where to find Tina Mucklow! She may have known what he intended to do with that knowledge. Duane was NOT a man without a conscience. Frankly I have always believed it was his way of letting setting her Tina free....this is the only answer I have for why Duane made a specific deposit at Tina's Bar. I do not know if he ever knew that she supposedly went into a convent because of the money find. Had he have known this I believe it would have torn him apart. I do know in the aftermath of the money find he was paranoid about living in Ft. Collins. Perhaps he read something in the papers regarding the divorce from her husband. When he came back to CO for my daughter's graduation he asked her about a Coach at her school. Today I don't remember the name of that coach or gym teacher....but, I believe for some reason he thought the individual could have been married to Tina Mucklow or to Florence. He seemed comfortable during the graduation ceremony, but left the next day for AL. I only had a P.O. Box number for Duane - no physical address, until the day my daughter and I arrived in AL with the furniture. I have told this same story before, but perhaps not in the same heart felt why I did tonight, because your post was cause for me to restate and reaffirm this belief. Robert per your bashing of Duane I would think you supported the Westwardly route! Yet, you do NOT support the route that I have maintained which is the other side of Portland.

The LAST perported communication by Cooper - what was the location using real time and the actual coordinations at that moment? What was the location of the Swoosh and rebound - What was the coordinations seconds before the rebound. Then factor in the wind and where would that put Cooper on the ground....? The wind and the speed of the plane then are factored in just after that little curtsey! How far East did Cooper drift and did the wind push him North & East or South of that location? How far was he off his targeted area. Maybe he didn't have a plan - maybe he expected to die. The ticket was dry & unstained. The wallet was old and the imprints of prior ID imbedded in the leather with heat and time. Dry Rot. Was some discoloration - powdery looking which could have been mold, but very little. He lost the tail and did acquire the license on that same day. Then the authorities show up at the shop - regarding the attempt to purchase a license in the other county with the same false ID. BUT he had already done the JOB...he just had to be sure the Deputies did NOT discover this. They didn't! A couple of wks later he makes a trip to Omaha with the John Collins ID & retrives the contents of a safe Deposit box under that name. End of STORY? - Even the authorities did NOT uncover the fact he actually did obtained that license - & yet the application & the receipt & the license was IN the Wallet found in the Van....the contents of which I made available to the FBI. A 70 yr old terminaly ill patient on the kidney machine outwitted the authorities. He had already committed the deed (he had his John Collins ID) & the locals nor the FBI could figure this out...all of the documentation was in the old wallet....didn't they make copies of it - I sent them copies - why didn't they check it out? Remember the communications just before Cooper supposedly was last contacted? Maybe everything was NOT ok? Maybe the reply Cooper made sound agitated & threatening? I believe the transcripts were cleaned up just a tad by omission. This is when the pilot made a slight turn to the South East and it was at this time Cooper actually jumped. This is when they felt sure Cooper was gone....but what if he was still on the airway and what would happen when Cooper and the bomb hit the ground. If you were the pilot - would you not have headed for less densely populated areas? Would you not have been prepared for the worse case senario? Appease Cooper make it easy for him. Remember that the co-pilot and his wife were accomplished jumpers. What would your gut reaction have been....or would you only have considered the plane & the crew? What about those on the ground in the locations Cooper might land in? Would you NOT have accommodated Cooper for the safety of the above stated reasons? Perhaps there is a communication never made public - indicating Cooper's aggitation - or just the tone of his voice. Did Cooper make a demand or threat never revealed? If Cooper had any doubt regarding his abilities to survive - could he have been suicidal? Did he threaten to blow the bomb then and there? What did the co-pilot do? I know what I would have done. I would have accommodated Cooper - helped him get off that plane in a not so densely populated area & have kept my mouth shut. Just a slight deviation and enough slant to get Cooper off the aft stairs in an area less likely to harm others on the ground. It was essential the plane get Cooper and his BOMB into a less potentially disastrous situation. The co-pilot and pilot did what they had to do - with or without permission.... They knew the direction of the wind and they wanted Cooper off of that plane, but NOT into a heavily populated area. NOW Robert99 - you and I are on the same page! THIS is what I have tried to say....that map was created and I know who created it and who wrote the "NO" on it! I think you also know who created that particular map...with the "NO" on it, but do you know who wrote the "NO" on it? I do! If you have PM's open I will explain to you the origin of the map and the NO. As for the thread - let them figure it out....I have known about this since its orientation in this thread and someone using the WRONG map. That map with the NO on it had some adjustments made to it, but for some reason it has been carried thru this thread for yrs as the official map. I have what was known as the official map, but the disk will not open it in anything I have...others I sent it to also cannot open it. Comes up stating Corrupted! I will answer that ONE for everyone. NO the FBI cannot ATTEST to the accuracy of that Web site. Some of that was supplied by a former agents is inaccurate. Also the providers of the information & those who write the information make changes and /or their interpertations of what is being presented. Do they have a map on there with the word NO written on it - well any map with NO written is NOT the actual map used by the FBI. I know how and when that NO got on that map. Jo, Please make an effort to get your quotes right. The first paragraph you quote above was actually from Blevins. The second paragraph is from me. Isn't that what I have been saying? Why do you think the crew - Pilot and Co-Pilot did NOT utilize this standard? I have basis for my statement below: "The final decision was made in the AIR and under pressure. They did what the had to do - and you do KNOW they tried to stay a direct path for the PDX - hoping by then it would be obvious Cooper was gone....none of them knew what to expect...this skyjacking was not like any the FAA had experienced before". Pick up the phone or arrange for all of the crew to be sequestered for a new briefing. Remember I DID have a discussion with the Pilot before he died! He was very nice considering his own circumstances...and I spoke with his wife after he died - to offer condolences. I still have the notes I took during my conversation with the pilot. DO you know how the Air Traffic Control worked in 1971 under the circumstances given? NO you don't, you were NOT there. How many time does one have to explain WA was having some air traffic problems at the time & why the guys were on loan from Atlanta's ATC This has been completely ignored with statements such as the statements you have repeatedly made...BUT, there was a CIRCUMSTANCE going on and that changed everything. The communications with Portland are VERY necessary NOT for me but for someone like you to understand that what was happening in 1971 was NOT ordinary circumstances. WA had ATC problems and this was a SKYJACKING - If the plane was NOT talking to Portland - then PORTLAND was definitely listening and they were transcribing! Since the plane was almost on top of Portland and with a BOMB on it - you know what I am telling is true. ALL ears were on that plane! The Crew had been instructed to do what they needed to do...and the crew did just that. You do know they were hoping to come in over Portland PDX and/or a near the Airport with enough visibility to determine if Cooper WAS gone. None of the so called sitings were verified by the FBI. You do know that in 1971 adjacent and South of the Trout Airport was an area that was used by jumpers? I think the crew was doing all they could to provide Cooper a way to exit that plane. All the crew wanted was for Cooper to get off that plane - and they did everything they could do to make that happen. They knew Cooper would not jump over Portland and that he had planned to jump relatively quickly. Why the hell would Cooper wait until he knew he was over Portland or the river? Too populated! As the plane made an Eastward adjustment... Coop jumped shortly after that little Eastward adjustment...just what he needed with the wind factor. The co-pilot was a jumper himself - he knew how to accomodate Cooper off of that plane. Gone Poof or Ignored! REMEMBER THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE IF THE PLANE COULD BE FLOWN WITH THE AFT STAIRS DOWN....FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. AND THERE AS ALSO THE FEAR OF LANDING WITH THE AFT DOWN, There were a LOT of unknowns in this skyjacking. Wonder if the FBI checked out the ATC's on loan to WA during that time to see HOW many of them had jumping experience. Great combination - jumper and ATC. These guys certainly didn't like the idea they could NOT get Life insurance outside of what their employment offered other than a supplemental with an outrageous price on it. Because of the product of a company Duane worked for - he had lots of contacts with ATCs and SKYJUMPERs. WHY did the FBI just ignore Weber and his background. Did the FBI actually check Weber's background after finding he was an excon. Did they NOT think it ODD this EX-CON sold insurance - you can't be an excon and hold an insurance license. PERHAPS the FBI didn't train their agents very well? The company was pointed out & by the existence of the rental left at the airport - but SUPPOSEDLY this was checked out and they simply stated it was a business out of the S.E. WHAT business????? Robert99 - you are the one being ridiculous at this point. YOU seem driven to convince everyone the plane was West of Seattle. Why? As the plane approached Portland - communications with the PDF come into play and NO ONE know why those transcripts were REMOVED from the PDX office.... Where you aware the transcripts from the PDX went POOF After Jo started to question the FBI in 2000. When Jo had volunteers out there trying to obtain information...I believe I might be able to verify this with a phone bill. I need the phone number of the Portland PDX in 2000 - can someone get that and tonight I will pull the old phone records...then we will know exactly when I spoke to the man who is now retired and probably deceased. At the time - I had to keep the conversation confidential, but later on learned he had retired, but had no way of contacting him. The phone number will track me back to my planner logs - and hopefully the name of the man I spoke to will be written on that page on that date in the log. I have gotten rid of many things and I did reduce my log by tearing out pages with nothing on them or pages I didn't think related to Cooper. If the contact I made with the man was AFTER 2001 then it will be sheer luck to find anything on a log as I was not working full time - for some reason I want to think it was AFTER Sluggo came to see me....and that was much much later. After 2008. After 2001 -- - I went on a flat long distance charge...so no itemized billings. If I didn't log the conversation in my planner or on a calender then I will have no record. Bruce has an assignment directed to him by Galen Cook from the other site. GO to the DZ and CRASH it - "Make postings that you know will encite. I never wanted to post there. Bruce was responsible for Shutter establishing the "other place" buy continues to post here with rude & diversive postings... his posting are seldom informative - standard MO - attacking or off the wall. I've posted my interviews on the three dozen FBI agents I've talked with and principals of the case. What might you be looking for? What would you deem as useful? Then we go to Spokane and go thru some old records asking for help for the old folk and see what tails they have to tell. The we pop down to Vancouver ande ask a few question. We hit some of the old skydiving strips - bet I can get Ralph to help with this....then we figure out what old grave and gravel pits have to do with Cooper....who built those strip - the name of the companies..Then to Yakima - a lot of secrets there. Surely there are pictures of the construction. Vancouver and get into some old files and then on up to Puyallup and go see the Stuckee House and check out old records there and then to Seattle and some areas above that. Everyone needs a porfolio on their subject - we all work together. We make a littl trip to BC (got a passport). Then we see if one of Duane's kids lives there - we use a bus....and we advertise why we are there....Offer a reward for the best leads. We have to may a jump down to Bend Or and check out all the smoragborgs and jump bar.. We check out all the camp. My be a good idea to do this with campers and motor home. We are going to hit a lot of unknown grave sites - then end up at Ariel for the last day - no guns and no knives - just encase tempers fare....might need a officer to keep the peace. Anyone gets Drunk - They are OFF the bus and on foot. NO Children. Now I have to be crazy to propose some thing like this - but perhap this is the way it needs to end.... Perhaps you need to verify your information with the co-pilot. He said VANCOUVER not Portland! I remember my conversations w/the co-pilot & he said Vancouver & not Portland - but again things are twisted to meet the agenda of others & not to solve this case. My conversation was after 2001 as I was living in my current location & not in the location I lived with Duane. There was more than one conversation over the yr with him about this. I specifically asked him to repeat this to me again in another conversation....and somehow others are now claiming he said Portland. You do know he has had cancer treatment & do you know what Chemo Brain is? Not all react the same way to chemo and radiation - but remember that the co-pilot had throat cancer. My last husband had lung cancer so his radiation was not near the brain....My brother in-law died of Throat cancer and we know how the chemo effected him - they call it Chemo brain. I do KNOW what the co-pilot told me & it was written down at that time....I was shocked and even questioned him on this - why I contend the flight is not as it has been publicized....why? DO YOU know how many times the co-pilot had made this route prior to the skyjacking? You better find out! Ask him yourself how many times he had flow that route prior to the skyjacking. If you will recall where conversations about the Troutdale airport sitings! These were included in my conversations over the yrs with Himmelsbach. Then others renounced the Troutdale stories at a later date. JT was NOT one of those! Odd! Himmelsbach never renounced the Troutdale sitings....but, yrs later others did as those who gave the accountings faded away. Never gave the dates much thought. We tried to link it to some of the crashes at one time. Duane was born 6/24/28 He claimed to have known Oswald & that he knew Oswald was innocent. I did connect Duane with the man with the false hair and eyebrows in N.Orleans - Duane and 2 of his step children and his wife of the time stayed with Ferrie a couple of wks in 1969 (think I have the yr right). Duane even showed me where the man lived. Ferrie was DEFINITELY connected to Oswald - there are pictures of the 2 of them together. Therefore when Duane told me he knew Oswald - I thought it was just talk until the EX-WIFE VERIFIED IT and so did the step-daughter who was 14 at the time. Both of the kids with them at the time & VERIFIED the relationship with Ferrie. The Step-daughter's description was eerie - but at the time I didn't know who Ferrie was and then she re-affirmed this later shortly before she died - a supposed overdose...in 2002 if I remember correctly.... Do not hold me to dates as I no longer look them up as they have been clearly stated in the thread at other times. The other child was only 6 or 7 at that time - told me about the mice, but he was just a child and he had some really bad memories. Memories that haunted him for yrs. When he contacted me - he thought I was the woman who Duane left his mother for. When I told him I was NOT that woman - he started to talk and it was a 2 hour conversation....The things he told me about his childhood - left me with a HEAVY heart. I felt so badly for this young man whose life was damaged by the actions of his mother and Duane. I just could NOT imaging children living the way they had to live. He referred to his mother as a Jeykell & Hyde personality. He loved her because she was his mother, but he also blamed her for the life they lived. He did not say anything bad about Duane - I was surprised. Everytime I think about the scars left on others it brings tears to my eyes....He was the one who told me about the TIE STORY....it was family Thanksgiving story. Supposedly when Duane was released from Jefferson in 1968, Duane and his wife worked in Jefferson until they satisfied the conditions of his release. Duane was working in the huge glass hotel where Bobby Kennedy stayed about 2 wks after Duane's release from Jefferson. Supposedly as the story was told to me Duane took that tie out of Kennedy's room....I no longer remember the name of the hotel. His wife was also working in the area but do NOT know what she was doing....I thought it odd Duane would be working in a hotel with his criminal record. More than likely it was the wife - but I never got a clear story on this. In a picture taken in 1970 Duane is wearing the tie and the tie tac - others have claimed it was a flaw on the old polaroid - but it is not. If you enlarge it enough you see the glint of the gold just at the edge of the pearl as the clasp is under the lapel of the suit. This was a picture sent to me by the ex-wife and she was in the pic with her but for confidentiality purposed I cut her out. I have long forgotten the dates of Duane's trial and encarcerations and releases...but, I do have the files...JUST never tried to connect the dates with the crime date. Duane claimed to have been at the Fountane Blue in Ft. Lauderdale before the Bay of Pig. I do KNOW Duane had contact with the owners/managers as he spent some private time with them around 1983 and the men looked my way from across the room as I could tell that Duane had pointed me out. When Duane finally returned to the bar after they spent some time in the back - he told me that would be a large BOAT coming from the South and of course it was a LARGE YACHT. The woman got off and she and Duane were OLD friends. She had an escort or boyfriend or husband with her. She and Duane talked about Vegas and the people they knew. The last name was MEIRER. Since I was just a dumb bunny, before we left I enquire as to an address for my Christmas Card list and she provided an address in Chicago. As I went to write the name down I mentioned the Meyer's my family knew and she let me know it was spelled Meier and not with a Y. Duane enquired during the conversation if her husband or brother was going to have to do any time. She said he probably would. This man was being held in Salt Lake City when Duane I were there in 1979 before going to WA. Attached is a picture of man Duane set me up to make a pic of that time. ALL efforts to find out who the man was has come up a blank....but Duane did NOT want the guy to see him. Afterwards he asked me where the negatives where - and of course they were in the fire safe as that is where I kept the negatives at that time. Yrs. later after 1988 he again asked about the negatives...as I was redoing the album... In 1990 there seemingly was money available and I now think the shop was a front - his confession after I understood who Dan Cooper was - made all of these little thing over the yrs seemingly to answer a lot of the questions about Duane's life. BUT, bear in mind he was keeping a secret - I did NOT know anything about his prison records...he told me in 1988 about Jefferson because he had to do so. He had tried to obtain a drivers license under that name - a task he actually completed in the next county over....the ID was in his old ALIAS John C. Collins....but I knew NOTHING about this until the old wallet hidden in the VAN was returned to me by the man who bought it - 2 months after Duane died. He did have to tell me about John Collins and Jefferson at that time, but NO mention of the other prisons...just told me he got into some trouble with a couple of other men and indicated his wife was also involved....I never knew any of the DETAILS as the FBI concealed this file from me until Feb of 2013 when Shutter found it. The FBI agent who came here and spent some time - supposedly was giving me the information...I spent a lot of money on long distance call and arranged for the file to be picked up - but my guy was turned away...I still have the communications with the prison and then later with other authorities the agent acknowledged some of this in the thread. At that time - there WAS NO pic attached to the file and I have the emails where the woman who handled records thought very very unusual...well that was 2004/2005 and it is 2013 before I ever see the prison photo from the Jefferson file - found by our Mrsshutter on this thread. Oh, well not need in boring you guys with this old stuff - no one cares, but me. I makes no sense to anyone but me! All of that is someplace in this thread...I can't remember all of it much longer - I am having to let go of things in order to keep up with other more important things. Well, what goes around comes around. I guess Bruce is bored at that other place - but, he will never figure out that certain parties like himself will never get the inside news. You are being very closed mouth about things, but I hope you are finding the results needed. I have share things with "others" outside of this thread and Bruce cannot figure out what is going on. His own sources have shut down and the word is out. I want to tell people what is going on, but I can't. I know the information I provided is being worked on. The connections have been in place for a long time - but it took keys to open them up. Let all of the "others" try to figure this out - they can't and they do not have the connections they have in the past claimed. I have been put down by so called Cooper researchers, but I was going to all of the wrong sources.... Do not reply - I am sending you a PM. Are you ever nice? Did it ever occur to you that your reputation precedes you? The people you interview want nothing to do with you. Seems as though I have no problem communicating with key individuals regarding Duane or Cooper or should I just say Cooper. You will never learn - and that is your downfall. When you are deceptive and invasive you do not get the interviews or the responses you want. You cut YOURSELF off - no one did that but you and yourself.
