Glad to know that I am not the only one dealing with it - thought it was something I had done on my settings. Innocuous or not, I need to know. If the FBI has this information - it would be an absolute atrocity if they have been in possession of concrete information which would prove Duane was not Cooper. Withholding of such pertinent information resulting in his widow spending her life and resources in search of the truth, when the FBI had witnesses providing a concrete alibi which would prove his innocents..... Sorry, but there is something seriously wrong with our justice system if this has been allowed to happen. This sound onminously criminal on the part of the FBI...at the very least a violation of my rights adversely affecting my quality of life. 1. What would be the purpose of concealing this information? 2. Where they afraid I would confront the individual or individuals making such a statement and require proof? 3. Didn't the FBI require proof of such a statement from this person or at least a "SWORN statement"? 4. Would this person's statement stand up in a court of law? 5. Did they make any attempt to verifiy this persons' statement. Now it is up to Jerry and the FBI to prove what he is claiming or leave me be. If Jerry's claim is true - why in the Hell did they even bother with Duane's DNA samples in 2003 and the subsequent so called testing results in 2008. Maybe the FBI is planning on waiting until I die - then claim they solved the case or a retiring FBI agent plans to write a TELL ALL novel disclosing the truths that have been buried in this case over the yrs. The posts on this page are all spread out takes 2 screens to read them. Must be a fluke with the system. The ONLY reason I asked Jerry to provide any proof is that he constantly refers to me as a "liar" using that word or one of the other phrases that means the same thing. I believe it is only fair he produce this EVIDENCE he claims I have and evidence from the FBI he claims proves Duane was NOT Cooper. The only thing he has stated was something about the FBI saying Duane was with family on Thanksgiving day, but NONE of the family has made such a statement to the FBI and everyone I found and spoke to had NO knowledge of Duane's where-abouts for a 2 month plus period of time. Co-workers, production reports, employers, friends, sister and brother had no knowledge of Duane during that time frame. The current wife of the day - had 2 children living with her and claimed to have left Duane in November of 1971 and going back to him in Feb of 1972. This story was substanciated by the children who were adults when I spoke to them. They all claimed to be staying in another location with relatives. The wife claimed she did not know Duane was still alive and thought he had died in the mid 1980's. This is the same woman I put Duane on a plane to go see in 1977 before I agreed to marry him. When I told her I put him on that plane to California and she admitted they spent a few days together. I later learned her children DID not even know of his visit with her. Why he would NOT want to see those kids. They were children in 1971, but young adults in 1977. It had only been 6 yrs since the HiJacking - was he afraid they might put 2 and 2 together and get 4? The oldest of the 2 told me that she knew Duane was Cooper - she was 17 in 1971..........the rest of her story was for my ears only, but I did tell the FBI what she said and they NEVER made any attempts to contact her. She died of an over-dose about 6 yrs ago...... When this woman and Duane split - he never tried to make contact with them - yet when he talked about those kids - especially the youngest - you could see and hear the love he felt and regrets he experience - especially for the youngest. Why did he walk completely out of their lives? Yet, go see their mother and she never told them he was there...and he made NO attempt to see them. It took awhile for it to sink in that he lived until 1995? Subsequent conversations with her revealed the story of his visit with her in 1977 and his contacting her in 1990...after going on dialysis. I already knew he had contacted her by searching the old phone records from the shop. It is my opinion this contact in 1990 caused him to do some of the strange things he did around that time - but, that would only be my opinion....due to subsequent conversations with her. Considering the information above I do not think it inappropriate to ask Jerry to name his source and provide the information he claims to have about Duane being with family on that Thanksgiving. Nor is is inappropriate to ask the FBI for documentation on the source. NOT one person I contacted claimed Duane was with them. I even asked a couple of women who he was known to keep company with in those yrs including the next wife of record. '' I know if I go to WA myself that I can get into the county records with some frined who live there - with 2 of us searching it won't take so long...providing the State has not enforce the same law some states have. One way to get around that is to find a historian who has the rights to research the propery lineage. If I present this to college students it will happen very quickly. Howl long do it tak to get to Tena's bar or did it sink befor4 it got there OR didn't it get tangled in that covey of trees before you get to Tena;'s bar. The package could have hung out at the thick rusKin the river banks.....and then the water from a early snow melt created the very same thing. Unfortunately the information available will be the current owner - to go beyond that requires a Title Search with the numbers specific to that property. The possible Properties in that area now number over 24 - where-as in 2001 when I went to WA that number was about 12.. It takes a TITLE search on each property which is very expensive - or a human person can go into the County Appraisers office with all 24 homes and search the back records - before the properties where subdivided and several new home placed on the site. The waterfront lot just East of Winterly Park had 4 homes on it when I was there - in yrs gone by it only had 1 small home and so this senario plays itself out all along the river banks to the PDX. After the procedure you would have about 4 or 6 property owners in 1971. Then with a map of 1971 infront of me I would have to choose 3 of which to do more complete title searches. Anyone can go to the tax office and do this - some states now require you have famial connections or legal connections to do an in-depth study on the property...such as Title Insurance. Some counties now will not let you view the property details without an identification codes. The parts about the FontainBleu was just because I felt like it and to provide some background. I can't put Duane on Tena's Bar I but I was with him West of the PDX and the bridge West of the PDX on the Vancouver side at a motel called the Red Lion - this is where he put that sack in the water - I do NOT know what was in that sack or how whatever was in it was packaged, but this is less than 2 miles on the water from Tena's bar. This was in Sept of 1979 and the money is found in Feb. of 1980. I do not see how my putting Duane at Tena's bar would get anyone's attention other than for someone to throw a similar package into the River at that point in Sept and use a tracking device in it to see where it goes. River currents change and the weather changes. It is MY opinion he retrived that money on his venture a few days before when he left me at the Dalles for 4 1/2 hours....where he went I DO NOT know, but he was soiled. Then he disappears for a whole afternoon while we are in Seattle - and comes back giddy and the next day we head to Vancouver with all of those stops we made that day before heading on to Tahoe. The Chute research is being worked on - old records are being searched for names - I can't say what documents because if I did - they would go "Poof" like other things I have revealed to the FBI and others. Jerry Thomas has so much time on his hands and goes to the Washougal all of the time - how about searching the local Washougal records for the report about that boat that disappeared from the marina on the Columbia below Lake LaCames. It was a newspaper article a few days around the time Cooper made his jump. A very insignificant article that 2 women found but didn't make me a copy of. The article gave no reference to Cooper - it was believed the boat had been taken or had broke away from it moorings. This article may have appeared after the boat was found. NOT one law enforcement person over a 14 yr period of time ever tried to find out who the property on the river belonged to where Duane went down to the river ALL by himself ... telling me to stay in the car. Perhaps he wasn't digging something up - maybe he put something into the ground there - so that eventually it would be found. Just a guess. The names of all property owners and lease holders has been sitting in the files in Vancouver - but NOT one person offered to search those files for me. All I was asking for was the Vancouver side of the river from the PDX to the bridge. One lone cabin or older home on that river just above Winterly Park. My meories - not yours: The memories where there and have been recorded - what I had not remembered recalling was how or when I was at the Fontaine Blue - What I remembered was that...and what transpired that evening. Going back to things I wrote before I had a computer - yes, I had written about the Fountain Blue, but had just forgot it - that is what happens when you tell something for 14 yrs - that one evening didn't seem very important in the beginning, but for some reason it does now. I had put these memories on tapes back in the very beginning and those tapes are old and fragil and I am afraid to play them - infact I don't have anything to play them on anymore - micro cassettes. As I have said before I have never FABRICATED any part of this story and would appreciate it if you would STOP YOUR accusations. They are my memories and I have NO reason to fabricate anything because NONE of it proves Duane was Cooper. It is an accounting of my life with him and if you are intimidated by my recounting these things, dates, times, places, things said, etc then you are the one with the problem or someone with something to hide. I am hiding very little because the more I tell the more likely it is the thing we have all searched for just might lie in one of these trips or in something Duane said. It will be something that might not mean one hell-of-beans to me, but might be the one thing someone else or someone reading what I have said might recognize - or place some significance on. I am sure you where not at the Fontaine Blue and definitely not on the yacht we went out on later. What I would like to know is who the 2 men were Duane spent some private time with earlier that evening...both were older than Duane and Duane did ask the bartender if a certain person was there. The bartender pointed over in a certain area - we were sitting on the side of the bar to the Canal and dock - so I could watch the yachts pull up. The area Duane went to talk to this person was on the very far side and he told me to stay in my seat and not to come over. I could only get a glimpse of the men Duane was talking to and then they went someplace I could not see them - one did glance my way - I am assuming because he told them his wife was with him. I never knew how Duane would know someone there and why the bartender would know who this person was and why they took their conversation out of sight and I think out of the room. Jo Did you answer my question? 377 I thought I did in my post and yes I have told this story about the trip to St Thomas before. At that time someone posted a picture of the Aftstair wheel, but it wasn't exactly as I remembered it - close but that only counts in horse shoes. Yes he did explain how it was turned and that it lowered a stairwell that went out the belly of the plane - he did NOT mention Cooper. He mentioned a latch,but not sure what he meant by a latch - I guess something that makes it so not just anyone could figured out how to open it such as a child. I related this story to Himmelsbach in the very beinging, but not sure how much of the FBI got of it. All I ever really got to talk to was a recorder at the FBI office. Perhaps incorrectly I thought Himmelsbach would relate this to the FBI. My Bad!. Duanes explanation was cleaning crews and cataterers bringoing the meals abroard and that its main purpose was for small airports where they do not pull up to a ramp. AH Yes! That fits with my memory, but was that DOOR ever used to for passengers entry or exit on the ground? I want to say we entered and exited at that door, but looking at the picture that would seem strange considering it doesn't seem to be that large a plane and the aft stair exit would have been more feasible. Our trip to the Islands I believe was in 1987 and therefore maybe the bottom aft stair way had been sealed off and the plane we were on may have had special 1st class VIP passengers using the front door. This trip to the Islands is when he explained how the stairway worked in detail. He did tell me this exit was used for deliveries - I asumed food carts and cleaning services. I can't remember the name of the Island, we landed on, and don't have a map of that area. We had to take a puddle jumper that was a bucket of bolts to St. Martins - scariest plane I have ever been on in my life...I was terrified until we got on the ground in St.Thomas ,but we had a better plane on our return trip to the bigger island. Some of the group took side trips to St. Croix. Our luggage had been lost and we were without clothes until about a half an hour before the Banquet. Someone had loaned me a dress but shoes to fit me were NOT to be found AAAA so I was going barefoot. We didn't have time to have our things pressed and where late getting down to the Awards banquet, but it had already been relayed to the group we were on our way with our own clothes. Since someone posted a pcture of the aft stair door - my mind has that all mixed up now,...I just remembered that the image I had in my memory didn't exactly match the picture that was posted way back when. I am sure that different airlines had revamps over the yrs - because of the fabric covering on that wall and the door of the plane we were on to St. Croix (since I keep mentioning St. Croix maybe that is where the 727 flew into). Because of the lost luggage, the trip of my life was pretty miserable as I had flown out in a suit as was the custom in those days. Can you even imagine going on site seeing trips in suits (both of us)...and the clothes on the island were terribly expensive. Because we didn't have a change of clothes was why we didn't go with the group to shop and play on another island. If someone had 4 or 5 different views of the wheel from 727's I would be able to pick out the closest to my memory. The woven fabric was of a rich dark golden tan color on that rear panel, makes me think this plane in 1987 had been revamped and it seemed more appointed than another 727 I took to Ky...in the 90's. Duane and I flew out of Denver to Atlanta in 1977 - 1980, but I don't know what kind of plane it was. This is the flight he hid for a great deal of the time in the bathroom until the 1st class stewardess closed the curtain. On this trip whatever plane we were on we definitely sat on the right side of the plane. On that trip to Atlanta - he was hiding from a stewardess he said was an old girlfriend. I kept trying to get a glimps of her and that is all I got - but she sure looked like the pictures I have seen since of Florence Shaffner without the extreme hairdo's. This woman had shoulder length hair, but not touching the shoulders if I remember - my hair was longer and thicker than hers and the color (if it was real) had a slight auburn cast to it but still classified as brunett. When Duane finally came back to his seat he changed seats with me so he was facing the wing and window - he kept a magazine in front of him. This was odd - because he was usually looking all around him at things - not behind a magazine. As soon as the stewardesses started to serve the drinks - he told me what to order him and again he stayed in that bathroom forever. He told me she was an old girlfriend and he didn't want anything to do with her (that DID NOT sound like the Duane I knew and then spent 14 more yrs with after that). When we got off of the plane. We had to have walked right past the stewardess I would think...I will note that I was looking for her so I could get a better look at her and do not remember seeing her. Duane seemed visibly nervous and when we got to Atlanta - he immediately got very DRUNK, and made a complete ass out of himself with my friend in Atlanta...she poured a drink on him. We were flying Frontier. I even remember what I was wearing on the plane. A plaid flaired skirt in hues of wine with a wine long sleeved blouse with an off white crocheted vest or a green suede flared skirt with a green plaid blouse with that same crocheted vest. I believe I wore the Green outfit because it was more comfortable....and I had on dress boots to just below the knee. If I go to my pictures I can give you more details on the dates...because of some fragmented memory here I feel compelled to do this tonight if I feel like doing it...this is the same time we met with the Mystery man in Altanta and who Duane had a very private conversation with behind CLOSED doors - a man with whom he should not have had any reason to be speaking with. I came back to add to this - I wonder what kind of plane we were on in the trip from Denver to Atlanta...because he didn't say anything about the stairway on this flight. The aft stair was not mentioned until the 1987 flight from Miami to the Islands. Since we were living in Virgina at that time and I had family in Fl - I think we drove to Miami and stayed there one night after getting back - this is when he took me to the Fontane Blue - this is when he got drunk and fell off of the yacht cutting himself on the coral in the canal. This trip is making more and more sense right now, because he was reliving OLD memories...and they had put the Shunt in his arm to make sure he would be ready for diaylsis which he didn't need until 1990. My life must be coming full circle because of the recent stress that has been imposed on me by things unrelated to Cooper. My memory is more clear today than it has been in a long time - suddenly things are pulling together - I couldn't remember how or why we were in Miami until this post. The things he told me at the Fontane Blue - what he talked about. That he actually saw a couple of people he knew and briefly introduced me to them, but not until he had gone over and spoke to them privately. OMG. The memories are pouring all over the place right now....sorry got to go ....crying. I know this post is all out of order, but I have to get these memories down in print before they are gone. That composite has to be a promo thing for Cook's book as it has the chin and lines adjusted to fit Gossett. The widows peak was NEVER part of the description. Doug Pasternack is the one who spent 2 hours with the artist who did the original composites in the beginning and there was NO mention of a peak. There was a mention of a motion the artist found himself unable to depict on the composites. I have kept pretty quiet about what that was and someone suggested a pursing of the lips but that is not it. It was an express Duane made and which can be seen in some of his pictures and if he was upset or very serious it was more exaggerated. This artist spent hours with the witnesses and there are things said to him that were never told to the media. Sitting with the artist the witnesses tended to be more relaxed which helps the memory. You can forget those names I gave a while back that were in the Pocket Atlas - I was right. The list was something that did survive the 1st marriage and we now know these guys are unrelated to Weber in any way. The pocket Atlas DID belong to Duane because the first husband was NEVER in Colorado. I thought I was right about the list - but we had to verify it. The reason I asked the question about the plane is this - Duane and I flew out of Miami to the Islands - one of the larger islands and then took a puddle jumper to St. Thomas because their airstrip was not large enough for the 727. When we were on this 727 - we sat in row 17 or 18 at his request. I have tried to envision that flight, but we were on the left side of the plane facing the cockpit. If you look at the picture of the 727 on the ground at at Sea-Tac the blinds are pulled forward of the wings (but maybe this was the division between 1st class and 2ed class). Where we were sitting on our plane in relation to that picture was just aft (behind the wing) of the wings - Duane explained to me what was happening with flaps as you could see them move from where we sat. On this same plane - I would have to refer to earlier notations to remember if we were boarding or disembarking - we stood at the door to the aft stairs and he told me what it was and how it worked. The door and back on this particular plane was covered with a dark tan woven cloth fabric and there was this wheel type thing on it. He explained how it worked and how it lowered a stairway that went out of the belly of the plane. SO my next Question is there another door on any of the 727's on the side in the rear of the plane. I know there is a door near the pilots cabin - BUT is there another door on the side in the rear and which side is it on. The only picture I have is the one in Norjak which shows the plane at the rear of the airport. In the back ground is a road and what looks like a motel in the back ground. When Duane took me to Seattle he made a short cut (which really wasn't a short cut) that was in the back of the airport. He commented that not much had changed - except there was a high tall linked fence that wasn't there before. I noted today in that picture that the fence that was there in 1971 appears to be a wooden fence. I had not really took the time to study this before. Behind this fence there is a building that appears to be a motel. Does anyone know what this motel looked like from the other side or the name of it and if it had a pool? All motels of the time looked the same to me, but take a look at the picture I am going to scan and then post. It is old and faded and my daughter who saw it yrs ago -asked this question "What does he have on under his jacket?" The shoes are NOT loafers and it certainly looks like he has something under the jacket. At that time he was not portly as evidenced by the picture you saw of him in swimming trunks taken at the most 18 months earlier. Beach photo: This is an old pic taken around 1969 by the ex-wife of Duane at the beach after he got out of prison - there is NO date so I am guessing by looking at another photo...which includes her and I can't take her out of the pic. They are taken with the same camera and appear to be around the same time. UpClose: This photo was taken around 1977 and he had gained a lot of weight. I cropped out his gray hair - just focus on the mouth. You have seen pics of Christiansen - the stewardess said "I think you are on to something". Duane had some dental work done after 1971. When showned a picture of Coffelt - she is also noted to Identify his picture as Cooper. Who else has she ID'ed as Cooper? There have been so many I forgot to keep count. Duane was left handed but used his right almost as well. Note he wore his watch on the left arm just as right handed individuals do. This is demonstrated by photos that show his arms. With this in mind I know I have asked this question before but didn't understand the answer. If you are sitting in the Plane like Cooper and facing the Cockpit which side of the plane was Cooper on? I have some confusion regarding this. One would think that Cooper knowing his bomb was fake would choose to leave his dominant hand free for normal activities such as smoking or eating or drinking. Did Cooper leave his hand on the 'bomb" at all times? These are questions I have in my mind. Wonder what Florence would say about that close-up? Or does it really matter? Wiley Barracks was in Germany and was an Army facility. Having been all over the WEB and being caught up in cobwebs - I need help. Was Wiley Barrack in Germany in 1945-1950 or 1962-1966. I cannot find anything that outlines the history of this except for the later yrs yet, I get the concept that infantries and Airborne where that during the times listed above. What is this, your personal detective agency to order everyone around? I wasn't ordering anyone to do anything - it was just a remark in conjunction to his post - it was NOT meant to sound snippy the way you took it. I do not have a personal detective agency just a few people who believe in me and are trying to find what can be found. I have Duane's Navy registration: Serial Number - N-91-A Order number -12035-A Address: 160 Oak Rd. Stow, Ohio Age - 19 Birth Date 06-18-1922 The Certification of Service in 2000 indicated NO known dates for the army and a serial number of 35 608 905, but one yr later the Certifications reads March 31 1943 to July 14, 1943. This happened AFTER my conversation with Ralph Hope the agent of record in March of 2000, who at that time told me my husband HAD NEVER been in the Army and that the Serial Number belonged to Wavy Greene (not sure of how that was spelled). The Certification of Service states for Navy coincides with the other data provided since - with a serial number of 283 56 96 date entered 06-18-41 date released 05-30-42 The 2001 certificates were a result of my visit with Veteran Affairs and the file was CLASSIFIED. I filled out the papers and you see what I got. Nothing - really just verification he was in the ARMY. Guess they cleared up the Wavy Green thing between early Mar of 2000 and Sept of 2001. I made the pysical request Sept of 2000 and the certificates are dated Sept. of 2001. There was plenty of time for government intervention - remember that in March of 2000 - the FBI claimed Duane Weber was NEVER in the ARMY. Weber must to have really had "some" issues with authority figures in those yrs, but he was determined to serve his country in some way. In the end he found a way ---- the missing yrs the FBI refused to look for. What this young man had done was unheard of - rumors and only one individual came forward a few yrs ago to reveal on a TV program that he let someone "go over" in his place. He wasn't proud of it, but he wanted to confess up before he died. He never revealed who "went over" in his place. The above is just one incident, but there were others. I provided the same information to the forum that I provided this man - but he dug deep and hard and didn't think I was dislusional. Hq Co. 502 ed - may only be a false lead, but it has our hearts a leaping. Cooper is a common name and for your information there was a Cooper (jumper) in 1945 in the 502 ed,, but that is not what we were looking for just one of those little details that pops out at you. If it was a movie poster - find it. The image is emblazoned in my brain. If I was a good sketch artist I would draw it. Black and white. The statement under the photo was brief - and could pre-date jumpers returning from the war and becoming smoke jumpers. These 3 were volunteers for the beginning of this program - it did not state if the program got off and running or if it fizzled for the very reasons you have stated - "way more risk using inmates". I just got the BEST gift in the WHOLE world. I am not sure what this information means, but it is important and the FBI has to listen now. Everything Duane told me was TRUE - "anyone could get in the Army during wartime - all you needed was a SS". I just deleted a bunch of things I had typed, because I don't want to over shoot myself - this could fall apart tomorrow, but tonight it is so clear I can see all of the stars. Early today I talked to Duane (I was angry with him) and told him I needed his help and that I couldn't go on this way - that it had to be over. Now - You have your proof - Jo Weber is dislusional - she talks to dead people. What do WE have - probable proof that will put Duane Weber in a chute, It is going to take some more research - but it looks like you guys will have to start all the "bullshit" as Georger called it over. The FBI didn't listen to me, but someone else has been listening to me for several yrs and tonight - well, I may have had the answers since day one. As Duane always said - Hide it in "plane" site. Since I haven't been able of find anything on those names - I turned them over to others who might be able to find something on them. The piece of paper was 2 1/2 X 4 and had been folded over and then over again. I still don't know if those names where in that Pocket Atlas or if I put them there after I found them somewhere else. All I can remember is being instructed not to throw it away. Does anyone know what Continental West was in Colorado. There is NO date anywhere on this thing. Brown with gold writing. The pages say Western Publishing Company St. Louis, Mo 63110 Probably unrelated, but it is something I have had all of this time - and figured it didn't mean anything. Remember this: I requested from the FBI for 14 yrs the work records of Duane L. Weber and John C. Collins - I have both SS numbers --- the MF's would not do anything, so don't expect they will do it for Braden, since he had light colored eyes and did not fit the other criterior. I needed the information on the John C. Collins SS so I could prove I was also the widow of John Collins and have access to some safe deposit boxes under that name - early on - in the late 90's. Now these boxes have been secured and the only thing that remains in the unclaimed box records is copies of what was in it and pictures - they are not required to keep this info forever. Does anyone get the drift of why I am so tiffed about the FBI - information they could have provided me in 1997 - and their refused to do so?????? Why in the world would I have any good feelings about the FBI???? The right answers early on could have saved me lots of time and perhaps my life -as stress certainly doesn't help the body fight disease. What do any of you think I was asking for very early on - the SS records - working records. These records could have set me free back in 1997 if they didn't pan out, but FBI refused and ignored my request. The refusal of the FBI to provide me with this information only fueled my search and going public and my consequent continued search. There is absolutely NO reason for the FBI to deny me that information. Without the Jefferson (detail) record I was unable to prove I was the widow of John C. Collins Sorry, but the FBI sucks - it is not too late for them to provide this information - hence improving my attitude toward the FBI and law enforcement. Right now I have ZERO respect or tolerance for them. Law enforcement arrested a 72 yr old in a retirement home for throwing water and a picture frame at the cleaning lady. All the old lady did was tell the cleaning woman several times not to do something the way she was doing it. In frustration threw water at the cleaning lady and then in defense threw the picture frame. She was later released - but look what this lady went thru. LOOK at what I have been thru and the yrs out of my life because of law enforcements REFUSAL to provide me with the information I should have been entitled to. I also asked them to check on a couple of other AKA's, but they claimed those were ONLY mispellings and one was DEFINITELY NOT a misspelling but an actual AKA of Duane Weber's they had NO knowledge of. I was able to use ancestry.com when my deceased husband had it - but now they won't recognize me and want me to pay the annual fees for now and back charges for the last 2 yr. I told them he had been dead for over 2 yrs - and his credit cards canceled. I was requesting a trial member ship for myself - but they want credit card info and the last time I did something like that on-line - it was hard to ever get the charges off. You authorize 1 month for a trial and then they keep right on billing your card everymonth and it takes an act of congress to get them to stop...and then wait for a credit. Thanks but the Vietman one may be a better bet. Those 2 guys are WAY too old - even Duane was not born until 1924. I will check them out because they could pertain to the missing yrs 1945-1949. A period even the FBI refused to look at and if they did they didn't tell me. It is my understanding the FBI is DOING NOTHING as far as investigating any leads on Cooper anymore. Someone will have to have the damn ticket or a picture of Cooper on the plane. Thank you for doing this - and if you would please get the other Huey for me. I am used to this format so I don't have to see what I am typing real well. A yellowed piece of paper with 3 names on it: Huey Hunter US Army Joseph Cox US Army Larry McIver US Army There are complete names with RA#, HqCo. # and one of them says Nev VLM Germany. I will make these available to someone who is able to do the search for me - but do NOT want to make them public if they have something to do with the father of my children - who did serve in Germany and was discharged around 1959 - I am thinking these names are in connectioned to him and NOT Duane. Need some help with something I have kept to myself because I do not know what it is related to. This may track back to my first husband as it does not appear to be Duane's handwriting. My daughter was going to run the names by her father, but she never did. So here goes: A yellowed piece of paper with 3 names on it: Huey Hunter US Army Joseph Cox US Army Larry McIver US Army I believe this is something that survived my first marriage, but I do NOT remember . It was in a pocket atlas with Compliments of Continental West on it. This seems to have been issued in Colorado, but no date. I do not know if this is where the piece of paper was originally. A page on this map is turned down - do not know which of these maps it is turned down for - Mexico, Maritime Provinces and Western Canada. The pocket Atlas was definitely Duane's but I think the note may have been placed there by me in the last 37 yrs. I divorced my first husband of 10 yrs in 1971. WOW! Had no idea that children were sent here alone in 1960's to shelter them from Cuba. Wonder what happened to all of the children? Wonder if any of them became Skydivers?
