I have explored things and made it known this is what I thought might have happened because I wasn't there in 1971. I didn't know Duane until 1977. Sometimes another person misrepresenst things and it is easy when you are desperate for answers to jump at the promise of a solution. What do you do with that - you explore it some more and you test it and your source...which is what I did with you. You failed...why did you fail in my book? Because you went off into a world that has NO boundaries and NO straight lines with too many dark corners and too many secrets...or what you thought were secrets. Boundaries are extremely important to me - because those boundaries keep harm from those who are innocent. I keep secrets regarding DUANE WEBER, because they exceed the boundaries I am willing to cross. Those boundraies have nothing to do with espionage or government secrets - they are personal secrets he had - secrets that ARE OF NO VALUE regarding Cooper or my goal. NOT one of these secrets will prove Duane was Cooper - One is a hell of a motive, but it would not prove he was Cooper....just destroy lives under constant construction...and hurt others in the process. Jamie came to this thread looking for answers - and what I read into his post is how I answered. The McCoy grandchildren did NOT approach Knoss. I have a lot of compassion for Jamie and simply presented to him other alternatives for his memories. Because of a family story I know - I felt I needed to make him aware of these other possiblities. Anything else is irrelevant and he is looking at things a little more objectively now than he did in the beinging. It makes NO difference if I or the thread are responsible for that. Quade, Why would I not ask him? 377 is the one who posted a statement that Jerry Thomas knew Richard McCoy. I had NO knowledge of this. I simply asked him if that was true. No, reason to jump on me when I asked a simple question and that is all I did. You don't act like yourself Quade - is there more than one Quade? I have detected a personality change and I am not the only one. You were not interactive in the past and now you are - we have discussed this in PM's. Finding out if there was actually a relationship between McCoy and Jerry Thomas doesn't seem out of order since Knoss is NOW shadowing McCoy's children. I tried to go to face book, but I refused to give them personal information and I DO NOT understand HOW to navigate the thing - my computer just stood still (well, I guess it is - it is not alive heaven forbid). Obviously I had tried to do this before because I already had an account. This type of forum is about all my computer skills will allow me to navigate. I wanted to see what was going on. If Knoss is really doing this - he needs to be STOPPED. 377: There are laws against him doing these kinds of things - aren't there? The children and grandchildren grew up with enough problems as it was - so why is Knoss confronting family that HAD absolutely nothing to do with what their father or grandfather did? There are some individuals from Duane's life -who came forward privately to me, but for them to publically harrassed will do NOTHING to prove Weber was Cooper...and disrupt the lives they have created and destroy images they have built with their families and communities. Whew! That has become my favorite expression lately. Jo (me, Myself and I) is actually lost for words. I knew that Knoss had sent me some weird pictures in the past claiming they were McCoy which I knew they weren't. I wouldn't fight or argue with him and NOW he has TAKEN this to a WHOLE new Level. The children and grandchildren of other victims! This is about the most appalling thing I have ever heard...to hound these children who are now adults claiming their father is still alive until recently...I did NOT go to the sites because it made me physically sick to my stomach... In fact right now there are tears streaming down my face. I had just watched a special on TV in referernce to The Lone Wolf - individuals who strike out at others and kill others to make a name for themselves and most of them are really mentally ill. I had actually come here tonight to discuss this type of syndrome, because there have been so many "unusual" individuals in the last few yrs to claim they knew who Cooper was. I was going to suggest that we NOT encourage Knoss and to find out if what 377 said about Jerry knowing McCoy was really true...or if he was just saying that to bait Knoss. If there had been a cystall ball 15 yrs ago that could have predicted the results of my coming forward regarding what Duane told me - I believe I would have had second thoughts. So Knoss had found McCoy's wife, OMG that poor family. It is time for the FBI to step-up to the plate and do something about this NOW. After I make this post I am going to go and how much truth there is to all of this and do something about it. It has to STOP! It is TIME for the FBI to step in - Knoss is a very sick man and I also think Jerry is very sick just as you guys think I am delusional.... If Jerry did indeed know McCoy then maybe Knoss is not as sick in the head as we all think he is. This world is so volitile now, that to incite any anger in certain types of individuals is causing needless deaths....this has become scary. Yet, to ignore these individuals - leaves them out there hurting other people. What to do? I just don't know. If we ignore this - these people will just keep on until one day they explode and hurt themselves or someone else. Jerry made me very nervous and that is why I was glad he was gone...I always worried about him attacking me physically and he did threaten me on the thread and on the phone... Note the similarity between Jerry, Knoss and Jamie. Note that they start out not completing their sentences nor their thoughts. Note how they dance around things. Note the mention of a name or place and then have a story about it. You guys can even place Vicky,myself, Lyle Christiansen and Galen Cook in the above category - with this exception - we put our research and our words into actions that are productive in helping us to find solutions about our suspect. If Jerry and McCoy really did know each other - then there must might be something to all of this none of us know. 377 how come I did NOT know about a connection between McCoy and Jerry T? Some place I have the weather that was recorded the night of the jump (ground temps) and the morning after. I forgot who sent me this info, but I do have the actual weather reports day before and day after. I also recall reading about the next morning when they were doing searches from helicopters and planes - the temperature was warm enough for that time of the yr and they spotted what they thought was a chute, but it was a canopy and kids fishing along the banks. Kids Fishing along the banks - it couldn't have been too cold the morning after the jump! I believe I read that in Himmelsbach's book. This is a man who would like to believe Cooper cratered, but his own book supports the fact it was NOT freezing cold the next morning. I am only posting in my defense, so lies cannot obscure the truths. He did NOT even bother to read the posts I made about the thread getting back on target - he has only one purpose in life. I still get a kick out of the fact that two F 106 air defense interceptors which were designed for this task were unable to track the 727 but a McChord C 130 Herc did find it. Fighter jocks are always looking down their noses at transport pilots. Not this time. 377 thought of you when I ran across this - attached. Whew! Sure glad to see the thread back on target with Georger and 377 making some posts that get us back on the track you guys worked so hard on. Finally seeing the quality of the thread all of you worked to establish. I promise to communicate thru PM ramblings about my subject so as NOT to clutter up the work you guys are doing - unless it it is pertinent to the current discussion or asking a question. That does NOT mean I won't post regarding a slam against me or incorrect information being repeated in regards to myself or my subject. This became the most constructive D.B. We have a creek here and down stream the beavers build a dam. Every yr my husband with another older gentleman would go break it out because when it backed up the water flowed over into the small pond (lake). Since Jim died in 2007 and had not been physically able the yr before to break the dam - well the lake filled in all I have is swamp now. The sissy young queeky families who moved in around here don't want to hurt the little baby beavers. So now the value of my property is no longer based on Water View. A swamp and snakes. How do I find out who had the phone number in 1996 and as far back as 1971......Where that phone number is located now has nothing to do about where it was located from 1971 to 1996...although it was probably near by and in the same area. I don't know how large the Chicago zones where in those days. When I called it yesterday it was NOT a working number. MOST ASSUREDLY THE PERSON WHO HAD THE PHONE NUMBER IN 1996 PROBABLY DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE THAT SAME PHONE NUMBER today. I have something I need help with. In Duane's old address book along with his Navy ID # was a phone#.. He said it was a special phone number encase he needed help. After I got hold of Himmelsbach in August of 1996 - we had several conversations and I think I still had the address book and it would have had the number for Meire in it (the number of a OLD friend). I don't recall if I still had it when I was talking to Himmelsbach, but I checked all of the phone bills from 1995 and 1996. Help me with this phone number (now remember I don't know that this was the number from the book). I tried to call it today and it now an non working number. I recall that when I did call the number in the book I got an apartment building and I didn't have a code or a name. I talked to who ever the number belonged to at that time - they had had the number for yrs, but he explained that several people lived in the building. I believe this is the phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX. Is anyone able to find out who that number belonged to from 1965 until 1995. I made the call on Sept 6th of 1996. I was looking for anumber that seemed out of place with the other numbers I normally called. I did have a friend in Chicago, but this number is not one of her numbers unless it change about that time. We only exchanged calls at Xmas under normal circumstances. The only other number that popped out was a Michigan number. I am going to go back thur the old bills and see if I missed something. I don't recall when I got rid of the book, but I did call that SPECIAL number so it would be on my bills. If it was a condo/apt - residents would change over the yrs...if at all possible I need the name of every resident from 1965 to 1995. I know someone out there just might figure out what I am after, but there is NO reason to share that at this point in time.
