I like Dane Cook quite a bit. I think some of his material is kinda lame but a lot is funny. His primary demographic is definetly younger people, thats why hes a legend to high school and college students. The reason he doesnt just slam on the brakes and crush the motorcyclists or swerve to hit them was because the guy driving (black dude) planned the assasination of Julian. He didnt swerve because he knew the motorcycylist (dread lock guy) was gonna shoot and kill her, since he and some other "Fissures" had different plans for the baby.Clive Owens character wasnt the one driving the car during the ambush scene, It was the black guy. At that point in the movie though I thought the same thing "why didnt he just swerve", but later once it was revealed they (black dude and others) planned the ambush to kill her I realized why he didnt try harder to save her. Its all about Rex Grossman. If he can stay relaxed and confident and not make to many mental errors then the Bears will be very hard to beat. Id like to see Colts vs Saints. I think all 4 teams are good however I dont think either representative of the NFC will beat either representative of the AFC. If Tom Brady can beat Payton then he certainly wont lose in the Super Bowl, hes to clutch to lose. If Payton can finally beat his archnemesis/achilles heal Tom Brady then he certainly wont let any defense keep him from lightin up that field in Miami. Man, after I read the thread title then the author, I cringed. Honestly I dont know what to make of all this. I still think this guy is a troll and sadly I thought my PRIVATE!!!! message wouldnt enable the guy to stir up more controversy but I thought wrong apparently. At no point did I relay any knowledge on you that you or anyone else in the skydiving community doesnt already know. I still and never will waiver in my belief that loading a canopy at 1.66 at 75 jumps is suicidal. I know my place in the community as a "n00b". I have and will never try to teach or give advice to anyone on this site that has more experience/knowledge then me . If you look at my posts on these forums that arent in the Bonfire/SC then you will see that I only ask questions or provide quotes from the SIM, I never try to bestow my "infinite knowledge" on anyone. I really dont understand why you think I am a SkyGod. At no point have I ever tried to convey I actually know what I am doing in the air or under canopy. I merely sent a quite harsh PRIVATE!!!! message to a suspected troll that was full information you already know, that jumping that small of canopy at your experience level is not a good choice. Anyone that has completed the First Jump Course would be able to tell you that. If one of you moderators could delete or lock this thread I would appreciate it. There is nothing more to llearn from this thread and it has embarassed me enough already. I think Im gonna refrain from posting or even PM'ing anyone for a while. I like to think I am the same person but I know I am not. In the Bonfire I tend to argue with people or say things I probably normally wouldnt say, mostly over sports related issues. In the non bullshit based forums like Gear+Rigging youll find I am exactly like real life, respectful and eager to learn. When I first meet a new group of people ,particularly jumpers, I am usually pretty quiet. I like to listen to what people have to say and learn about them before I interject. Once I get familiar with a group of people and comfortable around their attitudes/personalities then youll find I can be as rowdy/crazy as the best of em. Hopefully I can meet some of you DZ.commers at the Collegiate Boogie this weekend at Skydive Palatka. Just to clarify about the shirt. The design was never intended to incenuate in any way or form, nor to reflect the outcome of the football game. When I noticed what colleges were going to be attending, and considering 3 of our regular Palatka jumpers also went to Ohio State, I figured a buckeye had rights to be on the shirt. The original design of the shirt had the buckeye in the raft instead of the Clemson tiger, however when Clemson confirmed they were going to be at the boogie, I needed to somehow balance out the symmetry of the characters on the shirt, and the best way was to bring someone else to the front with the gator (who was originally doing a sit). I chose to bring the buckeye to the front, making him the largest college mascot on the shirt so that the shirt would be iconic to the year of the boogie since they were playing UF in the National Championship. Regardless of the outcome of that game, I figured 3 years down the road people would remember the boogie to correspond with this years BCS National Championship, to distinguish this shirt from future collegiat boogie shirts. Originally the two mascots were doing a 2-way sitfly, until some of the rivalry comments started (initiated by Swoop). In spite of disparaging remarks, not to mention my knack of creating a comedic relief, I thought people would appreciate the humor of a rodeo on the shirt. Since the Falling Gators are organizing the boogie, it was only natural that we were the ones rodeoing the Buckeye. As any skydiver who has either seen, done, or been rodeo'd can tell you, that it is something, that when done, usually generates weeks of laughter to follow, especially if it were caught on video. The fact that the Buckeye was getting rodeo'd was merely to serve the purpose of honoring Ohio State for their football team's achievement of being in the #1 seat, honoring the Ohio State students and alumni who were going to be present at the boogie, and provide something to chuckle at that only skydivers would appreciate.
