No, but the two guys were both named "Don". The weird thing is that there were three cameras on that jump. Mine, and two others. ALL OF THE VIDEO SUCKED. Mine was zoomed in, hence worthless, a second was completely out of frame, and the third was distant and had lighting issues. I understood that while the suit was approprate for freeflying, it's biggest benefit came from tracking. From the short read on blincmagazine.com, I understood it wouldn't help your sit, but would help your track after the sit. Anyone else get this impresion? I bought mine at Walmart, and it cost me $15. It's big enough for two helmets, three jumpsuits, two rigs, and all my other crap. I can't imagine ever using a "Gear Bag" - they're just so tiny! They have a .3 lense that looks a whole like the Diamond .3 lense on www.generationfreefly.com, but they call it the "flyers-pitt .3 lense". Anyone know what the deal is with these lenses? Actually, this is exactly why the record companies paid a very large fine just a few weeks ago. if it's true that Atair does that, it sure sounds like price fixing to me... which is odd considering how cheap the canopy is to start with. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I really like the designs were the ribs are a contrasting color to the top and bottom skin. You don't have to have top, bottom, and ribs all the same colors. I saw one canopy where I think the crossports were even a different color then the ribs. The top,bottom, and ribs were white, with purple crossports. Just to clarify, this thing is really cool. It's a steel suitcase, or briefcase - like the ones used in the movies to carry 10 million dollars or a suitcase nuke. It looks cool, works well, and is real cheap. I recomend it to anyone. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

You can get specific video cases, but they're almost always rediculously expensive. Most of the cases you see being used as helmet cases are actually skate cases. You should be able to find them online easily. Myself, I bought a steel case from Home Depot in their toolbox section for $20. They don't have the foam insert, but there's nothing stopping you from buying some foam. Instead it has compartments with movable dividers. Generally it's recomended that you use the same brand of tape as your camera. Digital tape is not like VHS tape where you worry about the picture degrading, because once the picture is recorded it'll stay perfect no matter how many times you play the tape. It doesn't degrade. The problem with digital video is that the image won't record properly in the first place. Every once in a while you'll see this in the form of pixelation of the video - little squares all over the picture. Sony tape is generally considered the best, but at the same time it's also considered important to use the same brand of tape as your camera. The more expensive kinds of Tape (the Sony Excellent, for example) have the fewest issues recording. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

Sounds like a great idea to me... you can set up a simple website pretty easily, take payments with paypal, etc. You can make it more complicated later if it prooves to be popular. that's what's great about the internet, you can try these things out without that much up front investment. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

I jumped the Crossfire yesterday, and found the performance very similar to my Stileto, only the riser preasure was surprisingly higher. I found it even more sensitive to body position during opening then my Stileto, but had a much more powerful flare in slow flight. _Am __ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. -
