Oh, that's just SO WRONG!! I looked on the weather channel and it looked beautiful. They didn't mention the wind problem. I'm so sorry. (How was ground school, other than the ironic cruelty that you would travel all the way there, sit through the class, and then have to stare at your hotel?) Is Troy feeling good about his jumps? The Knights--maybe that's it. I knew there was a team there once upon a time. Keep up the good work. Just tell them you're an "alternative student," which is what they called me when I went back to law school. That's just a euphemism for "old." It's either something like that, or you're just very indecisive and can't choose a major. The $15 seat is sacred and should not be willingly sacrificed. TPM Sister #102

No, you're correct. They were an expansion team. But years before, in another era, there actually was another team down there. That's why it could've been the Flames (now Calgary)--but I'm not sure if that's right. Anybody know? $15 means you can go to a lot of games. Sweet! TPM Sister #102

Just as long as you're doing your civic duty and getting people out there! What was the team before? I think it was the Flames--or am I confused? Anyway, the good part about having a luke-warm fan base is that you can usually get decent seats. Maybe that's changing by now, though. TPM Sister #102

At least Georgia is starting to notice that they have a hockey team! I lived down there right when the Thrashers first started playing and nobody seemed quite to know what to do with the sport. And you have Hartley, too--I miss him! TPM Sister #102

Well, the "goodies" were supposed to include the traditional beer, but since that's not exactly available through the hotel and since YOU'RE supposed to be the one buying the beer anyway, not me, you'll have to settle for caffeine and chocolate! Hmmm, the last time I saw them play was in Montreal, fighting for a last playoff spot. Didn't happen. They used to make it to Denver, but with the scheduling changes in the last few years, it's rare that they grace our arena. I actually prefer the Eastern Conference teams, so all of this playing within our own division really is disappointing. TPM Sister #102

YES! That would be great! Eating AND tunnel time . . . doesn't get much better than that. (Case in point: Yet another good reason to do adult league.) what about eating in the tunnel?
