Never!! There are only a few teams that deserve that kind of response. The evil ones. TPM Sister #102

Ooooo--and you're in Edmonton, too! Is everyone up there completely charged for the new season? And, btw, assuming you're an Oilers fan, congrats on the game last night! TPM Sister #102

Hockey's back! Just sayin' it makes me happy! TPM Sister #102

Awwww--don't go! It's your own post! I will respectfully exercise mute-button restraint (for a while, anyway)--just to give you hope!! (Hear my deafening silence. . . .) TPM Sister #102

No, AGAIN, I repeat myself, it's a problem with falling for people who are MARRIED!! I will say, however, that at least our interests would dovetail nicely. No squabbles over how much money or time are devoted to this little obsession. TPM Sister #102

LOL--yes, that works! TPM Sister #102

Nope. Maybe you could just get a moderator to delete the offensive posts. TPM Sister #102

This is not really much of a secret. The marketing usually overcomes common sense once you see what you want, anyway. That's why you're not afraid of the price tag initially, either. With the right promo department, reality is irrelevant. Okay, well, I actually DO know some women who smile and have good hearts, but I think all of them are married. TPM Sister #102

Smiles and hearts are only for the demo models. TPM Sister #102

So, your mute-button girlfriend should come with a stove and refrigerator? TPM Sister #102

LOL--the gut is a very truthful body part. TPM Sister #102

Awww--a romantic at heart!

Just my luck! In that case, get one with a good eject button so that once you're done with her, she doesn't keep coming back. TPM Sister #102

Forget all that. You can be as obnoxious as you want, but if you are emotionally unavailable, married, or otherwise untouchable, I will fall for you immediately. TPM Sister #102

Ah HA! So, in other words, we could actually VISUALIZE this little maneuver?! TPM Sister #102

LOL--well, I'd really like to avoid the "killing you" part, but I do take it seriously and will work to see that all goes well. Some parts of the learning curve can only be covered in the sky, but hopefully my wind tunnel skills will still come in handy! TPM Sister #102

This suspected addiction of yours is only the beginning. You'll see a lot of the "a" word around here. ("A" meaning "addiction," for those who would take that in entirely the wrong direction! ) Fortunately, you're surrounded by many others who share that problem--and embrace it! TPM Sister #102

LOL--if you want to see pros, watch the little kids or the instructors! The kids are obscenely good. If you're around tomorrow afternoon, we just might run into you! TPM Sister #102

Very nice! I went down and saw a shuttle launch once while I was in law school. There's nothing like it! I like your pics, no matter what kind of camera you have. TPM Sister #102

Yes, that must be Brad. He's great!! Here's the thing--they have two Brads, two Chrises, two Dereks. . . . It cuts down on the number of names you have to remember, though! Anyway, they'll all give you good instruction. TPM Sister #102

I'm so glad you had such a good time! Who was your instructor? At least some of the guys are AFF instructors as well, which is great. I know it's still not the same as jumping, but you can make great progress on your skills and it's still a lot of fun. I'm sure I'll see you around SVC. TPM Sister #102

The tunnel will be FUN! I'm doing their adult league and have booked time on Sunday with several other leaguers (including my friend who hopes to be jumping that morning). Any of the instructors should be great. Tip: Take your own recordable DVD. I find it really helpful to watch my time in the tunnel. You'll find that what you think you're doing and what you see on the DVD are not always the same. They will sell you a DVD for $17, but you can get them to record the session for no extra charge if you supply your own DVD. TPM Sister #102

My attempt at a general explanation of waivers
Jewels replied to lawrocket's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Of course, at our dz, the waiver contains a provision which allows you to waive the waiver upon payment of consideration in the amount of $300, or something like that. I would love to know if anyone has ever paid it. And if anyone tried to pay it, would the dz really take them up after receiving the payment, given that they are now on notice that if anything goes wrong, they are dealing with someone who has paid for the right to sue? These are things I think about. To me, this means that I am spending too much time reading waivers and not enough time jumping! TPM Sister #102 -
That's definitely how it has been around here lately! It gets nice just in time for the work week. If you're planning to schedule around weather problems, clearing the weekend sounds like the safest plan. I have a friend doing some jumps from Mile-Hi over the next couple of days, though. Hopefully, the weather will hold! I'm very sorry about Sunday. TPM Sister #102

How scared/nervous were you before your first jump...
Jewels replied to chris_uk's topic in Introductions and Greets
There you go again, encouraging those of us who have a hard time gettin' out the door! But, Sandy, I would listen to him. TPM Sister #102
