Yep--but I have to respect it! No way could I go to Joe Louis Arena unless it was to watch the Avs beat the Red Wings, so I don't blame you. Fortunately, I think the SVCO instructors are fairly non-partisan when it comes to hockey teams, so you'd still be safe in our tunnel. I would even come and fraternize with you--which is saying something, given that you're a confessed Red Wings fan. Don't mind if I show up in disguise. . . . Seriously--have fun on your tunnel trips! I know, I'm biased . . . but I LOVE SVCO. If it's on your short list, I'd move it to the top. We have great instructors, not to mention the mountains. And, if you're a hockey fan (just guessing), we have the Avs--although I don't think we play the Dead Things in December. TPM Sister #102

Do you have The Melting Pot there? That's a fun place to go if you like fondue, and it's also the kind of place that I wouldn't necessarily spend money on myself but that I enjoy from time to time. It can be pricey, but I've taken people there just for dessert and it's still a lot of fun. TPM Sister #102

I have tried. I have had friends try. I reduce photos. I try to upload an image for my avatar. It says 10 KB, but when I try to upload, I get the announcement that my file size is too big and now it's not 10 KB, it's 9.77 KB, max. I just know that someone, somewhere, is taking malicious delight in my utter inability to get an avatar put together. Would someone have mercy on me and help me reduce a photo? I would really appreciate it! TPM Sister #102

That's ridiculous. Your notes are the data, anyway--it's the application on the exam that law professors care about. It's not like confidential work product that has some sort of secret code to presenting all the proper arguments, avoiding the red herrings, and spotting all the right issues. If she's that worried about you getting a leg up, she's missing the point entirely. TPM Sister #102 -

Snakes creep me out, but I am really afraid of MOTHS--the kind that dive bomb you and then flutter around in the lamp shades. We get hoardes of them here in late May/early June and they are everywhere. How they get into a house when all the doors and windows are closed is just beyond me--but they do. It's apparently a personal vendetta and they come to find me. TPM Sister #102
