  1. Uh oh...more potential members to his fan(tasizing about him) club. Someone has to do it. Skydiving and tuxedos--it's just too James Bond for words. But I must concur about Bridezilla. She needs a serious makeover. I'll bet the woman wears leg warmers and teaches aerobics. TPM Sister #102
  2. Opera, tuxedo, tango . . . . Surely you realize that the mere use of words like these will inspire women everywhere. I use the word "inspire" euphemistically. TPM Sister #102
  3. Is this just a nefarious plan to attract women? It's a good one. TPM Sister #102
  4. The paper here is saying they fell apart. Says they were holding strong into the 2nd period but then they just fell apart. I hate to say it, but I was waiting for it to happen but hoping it wouldn't. Now that it has I do think it is pressure off them and they will shake it off and start kicking some more booooootie I'm happy, just as long as they limit this problem to one game and keep it on the right track otherwise! There is never a good time to fall apart, and I like the notion of sustained momentum. TPM Sister #102
  5. ATL 21 shots, TB 38 shots You can't score if you don't shoot!! 'Shell No kidding. That much never seems to change. I didn't see it--was TB's defence just spectacular to boot, or did ATL just fall apart? TPM Sister #102
  6. I'm a fan of down blankets and have a great one on my bed now--Overstock.com, on sale, good quality. Then again, I'm always cold, so I'd take the down blanket AND a down comforter.
  7. Even with penalties--8 goals with no response is just painful. Bad, bad night. I hope it was just a fluke and that it will be back to business as normal soon! TPM Sister #102
  8. I saw that score on a tv screen from across the room and hoped that I had just read it incorrectly. TPM Sister #102
  9. I once had an unfortunate tweezer incident when going through security for court. At least it had nothing to do with actual tweezing. TPM Sister #102
  10. They've been kicking ass, that's for sure. But we won't see them here until February. 'Shell They'll be in Denver in February, too. In fact, I have tickets to the game and can't wait! Row 7--not on the glass, but still, not too shabby. TPM Sister #102
  11. Quite worrying really.... You have no idea. Some things just shouldn't be encouraged! TPM Sister #102
  12. I'll be happy to whip up a list for ya. Just so you can experience the excitement of giving me something I'd never get for myself.
  13. That's GREAT--go for it! You're definitely setting yourself up for a challenge, but I'll bet that you won't regret it if you're enjoying the engineering path. I love real estate. I enjoy putting the deals together and working out things like title issues, when the parties are motivated to make a transaction come together in a win-win situation. It's not perfect; we still have our conflicts, but at least it's not like litigation where the deal has already fallen apart. It's "happy" law--who knew there was such a thing?! There are a lot of other lawyers and law students around here. Anybody else out there tonight??? TPM Sister #102
  14. Sorry--I'm in commercial real estate. However, a lot of lawyers have just your basic liberal arts undergraduate degree (e.g., Spanish major, followed by Master of International Management), unless they're going into patent law, where they'd need engineering, etc. TPM Sister #102
  15. . . . and visions of Barbies danced in their heads! Jewels- I love it, visions of Barbies. Glad I'm not the only one It's an illness. Is it okay to practice docking on a surrogate doll, as long as it's not a real Barbie? She has little wrists, you know. Oh, wait--we can't take anything into the tunnel, anyway. You have to KNOW people to get away with that stuff. The kind with clout. I hope you get some other takers. I think we've convinced some of the men around here that they should come and jump about the same time, and they won't appreciate it if we dress them up as women and force them into the tunnel so you have a full slate of inductees. On the other hand, I'd kind of like to see that. . . . TPM Sister #102
  16. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll leave feeling like you've made progress. Sartre's right--just make sure to get in there and have fun! Good luck with the collegiate nationals.
  17. Okay, I'm definitely biased and I'm not about to speculate as to how much you can accomplish in your ten-minute session, AND I'm not a skydiver, so you have all my caveats up front. On the other hand, I do spend a lot of time at SVCO and I buy a whole lot of ten-minute sessions from them. That being said, I would use the money to buy more minutes instead of putting it into a coach. That's not to say that a coach wouldn't be helpful, but you really can get a lot of good out of the instructors without also having a coach. It's my guess that even if you only spend a few minutes getting stable, the amount of leftover time for which you really might want a coach goes down. I suspect the instructors can give you what you need in your first ten minutes, and they'll pre-brief and de-brief with you if you let them know what your goals are. Then, re-evaluate your need for a coach if you decide to go back for more. Alternatively, you could break your 10 minutes up into a couple of sessions. See what you think after the first trip through. TPM Sister #102
  18. I am terribly fond of plain white, non-blinking wheat lights. However, we have a country club here by the name of Cherry Hills, and they put up white wheat lights with little clusters of red lights along with it to make clumps of cherries. Hard to describe adequately, but it's very tastefully done. I also saw a tree last year that mixed the small wheat lights with some of the larger round ones and it was smashing. I think it would be hard to do without getting everything hopelessly tangled, but it definitely was beautiful. TPM Sister #102
  19. I feel your pain with the cold. We just have single-digit weather here, but it's up to a balmy 32 this afternoon. Have a great time in Orlando and keep SVCO on your list the next time you get the urge to travel. They're good guys and would take care of you well here. Good luck getting some deals on air and hotel!
  20. Rats. We usually have some nice weather in the winter, but it's definitely not Orlando! At least this way, your hockey integrity will remain intact. (I don't AGREE with your choice of team, mind you, but loyalty is important.) You'll have to tell us how it goes!! (The sunglasses are because you picked Florida. Let's hope there's no rain!) TPM Sister #102
  21. I think you're right. Tunnel time is valuable stuff! Good luck. (I'd help you out with that myself, but the commute is too far! ) TPM Sister #102
  22. Take a friend--or maybe another AFF student. That's a whole group of likely candidates right there! TPM Sister #102
  23. Induction slots are filling fast! 1. Jewels 2. Sartre 3. Could be you 4. What are you waiting for? 5. Come join the TPM fun!!!!! Cannot WAIT!
  24. Tuesday nights are adult league. I'll bet they'd let you get in with us. . . . (That's all I've got.) Edited to add: This is important because we always eat afterwards. I think the food aspect is definitely a plus. TPM Sister #102
  25. It was Pink Floyd and I was 19. I couldn't figure out what brand of cigarettes smelled so funny. . . . Ohhhhhh. TPM Sister #102
