    They did.....THREE times they gave me one of their two camerman....and each time I had to inform them that that cameraman was already on the load filming somebody else....the message just didn't get through! ....send me some full image pics pleeeease!

    If you ever get to Key West go to the pepper bar there. It is like a wine tasting...but with peppers. The last time i took 5 people there, they came out and *swore* that they put "something" in the hot sauce because they had such a buzz on!

    The problem is you ate them outside of the allowed time frame. White Castles are to be consumed inbetween the hours of 1am and 5am only. Anytime other than that causes issues!

    A jumper friend of mine owned a house a couple down from his house in Medina....The man threw some parties when he was there! I have never seen 10 hummers parked in a driveway before!

    I'm still just a student pilot, but the most scared I have ever been was flying into O'hara. The airline had a channel that you could listen to ATC. The ground control wasn't even waiting for acknowledgement from the planes because they were so busy... makes you wonder how they don't have more accidents

    So is trying to interput FAR's/ TSO's/ ETC............and covering your ass in an accident. labrys......I thought it cost $50 to re-install your cypres into a fresh pack job...not a closing loop?

    Cats.........just remember the rules it you are fed up with them. It is OK to kick them ONLY if they hit a minimum of 2 walls before reaching the ground! (I actually like cats....well most of them)

    **First let me say what a terrrible thing that this has happened** ....Next, Justice has not been done? Don't do that to a dog? No arrest? How about taking RESPONSIBILITY for ones actions? How about looking at YOUR sons actions that led to this tragedy? NCAAP? They would not be involved if this happened at an all African American camp.....Don't get me wrong, this sucks...It sucks it happened at a DZ....amoung jumpers....and don't think that people are not still upset about it...BUT, C'mon. The last anyone saw of him was on shore. Did he get up and wonder into the water by himself? Are we going to blame the people around because the one we loved couldn't control his OWN actions? Do all people over the age of 18 NEED babysitters?

    No John....I think the toughest part is having some DOD Demo guy with a couple hundred jumps jumping into these places.

    I don't think anybody said it was *wrong*....just that some riggers are UNWILLING to have the FAA make a judgement call if something did happened. Just cause one field officer in Tx gave a warning does not mean one somewhere else won't pursue it. But you seem to have a good grasp of the TSO process and how most of the FAA interprets it.

    I understand what your saying. I'm just trying to offer the other side of the story. If somebody bounced and the FAA started to really dig deep on the issue and found out that a component that was there during the TSO approval was no longer present....I wouldn't want my name on that card.

    As an FAA certified rigger I'm pretty concerned with what the FAA guildlines say. If the RSL is a component of an *approved configuration* I will not change that........Sunpath's wording has been pretty grey at best.....just my opinion though

    The RSL is a specific component that is included in the *Approved Configuration* during the TSO process. That should make it pretty clear to any rigger, no?

    That is NOT the current SOP according to the UPT Tandem Examiner handbook received in Sept 2006. Maybe that has changed and word hasn't got around to the 3 T/E's that I talked to about it. I think any TI should have the awareness that the risers didn't clear, but....

    I'm off to the stadium! Lee, you really didn't think anybody would take you up on that bet did ya? Watching the news, the stadium is going to be like it was in 2003....... 90% scarlet and grey! .....I'll be hanging at the Game Day set. Keep an eye out for me, I'll be the one with a Teddy Ginn jersey on!

    WHAT?!!!! So was I! You should have told me you were coming back for the biggest game of the decade during regular season. We had 8 of us from Aerohio getting face-time on "Game Day"...... before Lee corso predicted his 0 for 3 against the Buckeyes!!!!(and he heard about it when he was walking to the shoe in the 3rd qrt!) I would feel sorry about my fellow buckeyes not being here.....but!!!!! You should BE HERE!!! GO BUCKS!!!! Oh............sorry......IO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 70,000 of the *loyal* fans are here!
