...It took me a minute to realize that my computer actually wasn't f$%^ed up for once....lol "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

I almost made that request as well, but I figured it'd stir the pot up. But since you did, yeah, lets hear it....

Not if you do it safely... "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

OK, since you did, I guess I can too. I spent around $300 on that trip, and just got a peck on the lips. It was no easy trip either...when I took her back, I had to fly an NDB aproach to mins., and then had to go to my alternate on my way back home and wait till 2am for the weather to clear enough so I could shoot a GPS approach into my home airport. ,...and then there was the time I flew my friend's girlfriend 2.5 hours in solid IMC to Teterboro, NJ so she could see him, only to end up getting stuck there for 22 hours because the prop governor was acting up.... ...and then there was the time I flew my best friend and his g/f to a fancy restaurant for dinner on V-day, and basically got no thanks... ...and the list goes on...and on.....and on......... I'm beginning to think I've been being used for my ability to fly a plane, lol.....its ok...I need to rack up hours somehow... I think this is a pretty tough question to answer. Everyone wants to think they're safe, but whether they are or not is sometimes difficult to see from first person. That said, and after some thought, I guess I'd give myself an 8. As a pilot, I feel I am extremely safety-conscious and I'd say that goes for skydiving as well. Nobody is perfect however, so I can't honestly give myself a 10. "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

I went to two proms in high school. They both sucked. I would trade either of them for a jump ticket. My senior prom, I flew 120 miles to pick up my date, and...nevermind, I'm not going to even go into the details. That ungrateful beeotch. Proms are a waste of money...any high school guys reading this: be forewarned- they are no fun and will suck your wallet dry! Oh, I see..... (Note to self: Use extreme caution when in the vicinity of the oil wrasslin mat at Clay's DZ....) "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

Think of it this way: the kid (Adam) was born so that his sister's life could be saved. I dunno about you, but I think it'd be pretty damn cool to be born to save someone elses life. "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

I can't answer you there...but why would it be? Theres more than one balloon over here in the U.S. of A....

That is a novel idea, Stacy. "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

Were you really looking forward to seeing Clay jump naked? "If I could be like that, I would give anything, just to live one day, in those shoes..."

I think a lot of what goes on in foster homes has a lot to do with the child's trouble adjusting. My mother went through at least 5 growing up, that I know of, and she never talked bad about any of them. Yes, she had a hard time, but that was because she was put up for adoption by her parents at an age where she could remember them.
