  1. "Just bring some gloves, long underwear, beer, strippers, and midgets........" OK, I understand how all of those could be very necessary items except for the midgets. Do you have some sort of fetish with midgets now Clay?
  2. Uh, I'm not sure but I'll just throw in what I think anyways. I would guess the person who shot the video would have the right to brodcast it or distribute it or whatever....
  3. Blind women just might not be too inclined to go to the DZ to watch you though, lol.
  4. sometimes they even show them on the discovery channel...or the learning channel...or one of those freakin edjimicationaial channels...
  5. he said BOOOOOOOOOOOBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. lol....try: Aerobatic Yeah, I used to get discovery wings at school. It sure kicked ass compared to some of these rediculous channels, but my one complaint was they re-ran things over and over sometimes it seemed. Or maybe I just watched it too much....
  7. Hey Mike- Do you guys jump year round? If not, when do you start usually? I'm gonna have to head out there sometime...its only about a two hour drive from my house...
  8. I didnt see them on the end credits or on the box. Strange. All that was in the credits were the names of the two guys who did the music...no song titles or anything. I will still try to find out for you though....
  9. "Grew up in Rochester NY" Hey Snowflake....a fellow "Rochesterian"....
  10. "You can see where they stuck in the "freaky" part." Dammit Justin, why did you have to go and spoil it like that?
  11. sheesh, i dunno about anyone else...but I sure as hell cant afford to buy beer at a liquor store
  12. Born in Rochester, NY. Currently (temporarily) living back in Rochester. Home DZ is DeLand, but will probably be The Ranch and Cross Keys, come nicer weather. First jump at DeLand. Blue skies, Marshall
  13. Wow. Thats unacceptable if you ask me. If I was on that load, I'd be on the phone with the FAA before I took my rig off. If he gets pissed and dives a plane, he shouldnt be flying. Anything. Ever. What an asshole.
  14. "I'm not trying to sound cocky but how hard is it to fly a jump plane?" I'm not a jump pilot (yet) but am close to being finished with all my ratings so I can give you my comments as a pilot. Again, I've never flown jumpers, so I could be wrong- but here are my comments as a pilot in general. Flying jumpers has a lot more skill to it than meets the eye. Theres more emergencies that are possible and complacency can likely set in much quicker than with other types of flying. In fact, I would think complacency issues would be a really big factor (any comments on that, Chris? just curious...) I know you arent trying to sound cocky, but it took some discipline on my part to not take it that way. What you are asking could be attributed to a whuffo saying something like, "how hard can it be to fall through the sky and then pull a cord?" Just my .02 -Marshall
  15. Just a thought....maybe we should just drop this thread. Not worth getting into an argument. I think the majority of people (at least I was) were joking about actually going to this womans house. What shes doing makes me sick, but theres also some other good points made. Theres other ways of dealing with it. Theres also many other worse problems in the country/world whatever. Anyways, *why cant we all just get along!??!?!?!* Blue skies, Marshall
  16. I wouldnt say its too bad of a deal. I've never owned one quite that old, but I'll ask some friends tomorrow. I used to race motocross before I got into flying and skydiving. Skydiving is waaaaaay more fun!!!
  17. You dont necessarily have to turn it off (can you even turn off a cypres?)....just tell the pilot to slow the descent from 1500 ft. or so (i would think he would know better than to have to be told, but oh well).
  18. I think he meant cutaway from a job to be a full time skydiver, not cutaway from a canopy. Or at least I hope, yikes....
  19. rgoper, Its really none of my business but I dont care. What the fuck is up with you? You come in here and piss everyone off, wait a while then you apologize, and here you go again fucking with people.... CHILL OUT bro, Lets at least try to keep the peace here.
  20. I cant believe you had to ask. Virgin is way to respectable of an airline to employ the likes of me ....Slut, on the other hand, might be a possibility...
  21. Kinda off topic, but I think it helps rule out the economic reasons. I was just looking through my logbook this morning. I have flown with AT LEAST 5 black flight instructors. Four of those were check pilots and one of those four was female (she was one of the toughest instructors I've ever flown with, by the way). Personally, I dont think economics has one single thing to do with it. I think it just happens to be that way. Just my .02 -Marshall
  22. Ladies and gentlemen...another friendly reminder: "Friends dont let friends get roadhead."
  23. Hmmm....I wonder if I could get a job flying for them...
  24. Yea, I had a friend take out a string of mailboxes doing that. Totalled the car....prolly a good thing there was no airbags in it, or his girlfriend might not have been so lucky...
  25. Could it be packing method maybe? Probably not I guess if you havent changed the way you pack it, but I seem to be able to give myself off-heading openings on occasion just by the way I pack...
