The idea of having a pocket on the D-bad doesnt really appeal to me either (although not for any particular reason, really)....luckily my jumpsuit has a pocket (actually 2) that works well for stashing rubber bands and pullup cords. Its my understanding that radar detectors, according to the FCC (I think) are legal in EVERY state, and although you CAN get a ticket for having one, you can also have that ticket thrown out...I could be somewhat off here, but its something like that....

I dont think I would be thinking about what kind of body position to be in when I go in- because if you have nothing out- lets face it...you're "going in." I'd be fighting to get something out the whole way down. But- since you asked....theres always that joke about tracking for the rigger's car...

Yup, I'll second what AggieDave says: I bought one from her last fall (i think Sept.), and absolutely love it. She did an excellent job, and its not the flashiest suit around, but it serves the purpose- and you can't beat the price! Kudos to Karen of FMC!!

I'd have to say, ironically enough, my prettiest jump so far was my graduation jump from AFF, in DeLand. Irene was my JM. It was late late afternoon, and the sun was setting. The sky was an orange-pink color and there were just a few clouds mixed in with a layer of definite haze. I was facing east and I could see the ocean clearly. The sun was at my back, and it lit up Irene's face, her smile, and the clouds below us. That was the first time in my life I'd ever felt so free, and its an image that I will never forget. We passed through the haze layer and clouds at 6,000 and a few seconds later she tracked away as I pulled, and enjoyed an awesome canopy ride. I think of that jump often, since I'm stuck up here in NY, and it makes me smile knowing that soon I will be back down in FL, and back in the air.
