  1. The liberal media has done this kind of creative editing many times before, and they show no shame for their dishonest, non objective, and grossly misleading reporting. They are working along side those who would scare and manipulate the population into giving up all our rights so that the government can have full control over us. Anyone who stands against them is painted as crazy, paranoid, religious extremist, bigoted, lacking compassion, and anti social.
  2. >Not long before that the US was experimenting on its own citizens to see the effect of nuclear fallout on them. Desert rock , from the late 40's until the late 50's comes to mind.
  3. I am not saying JFK's death was or was not a conspiracy, but operation northwoods seems to have been a real covert plan by the US government to legitimize war against cuba by commiting acts of terror upon US soil, and blaming those acts on cuban backed operatives. Check it out,it's on wikepedia.
  4. Wow! I just read about Operation Northwoods 1962 on wikipedia. The joint chiefs of staff were all about deploying this plan until JFK said no to it. Funny how not long after JFK's refusal to allow this action he was killed. Maybe he knew to much and was not getting onboard with the program? Or was he killed by a deranged loner who had no ties to any other people or groups? The scary thing is that the government had a plan to use terror upon it's own citizens in order to blame cuba and then legitimize war against them.
  5. Yep! Big brother wants to control what you eat,how much you eat, what you drink, how much you drink, what you smoke, where you travel, what you say,ect,ect......
  6. >Our whole society controls how much you can drink, how many pills you can buy...... these people are living in a fantasy world with rainbow unicorns and candy mountain. They think that because there are laws against certain behaviors that they have control over these behaviors. It is unlawful for someone to possess more prescription pills than they have been prescribed, and it is unlawful to use prescription drugs without a prescription,so society has control over prescription drug use now. what a joke. Outlaw guns and they will not be used in crimes any longer because society will control them
  7. Heson Ong understands very well the true reasons for the second amendment, and how crucial it is in support of all the other amendment rights of our US constitution. I am very glad to see that he used the proper legal steps in becoming a US citizen, and admire the hard work and genuine interest he has shown for his new countries history and our constitutional rights. I'm proud that our country has allowed Henson to become a true american who will stand up for his,and our rights as written in our US constitution,as he has done so already at this hearing.
  8. If two people of the same sex want to get married what is the big deal. This country is suppose to have seperation of church and state,so religious doctrine should have no legal bearing in the USA as it does. Other than religious doctrine there are no other real reasons against same sex marriage.
  9. I was referring more to people outside of public office when talking about insulting behaviors of left leaning folks, and I hope my personal observation is not too insulting to anyone. I do not know if people here are as polarized in ideology as they are on specific social issues. For instance,I bet many are pro 2nd amendment and support gay rights, and environmental protection issues as well. I agree that the republican party would gain alot of weight if they were to become as accepting of alternative lifestyles as the left has become.
  10. I am not religious at all. I am not republican nor democrat, and in fact feel both parties are untrustworthy and outright corrupt as most of DC is as well. It seems those on the hard left tend to be the most insulting to anyone who will not concede to their views. Funny thing is that I know gay people who lean to the right on many issues, like immigration and gun rights for example. Hell I've heard it said many times that democrats tend to be unfaithful womanizers and republicans like groping strange men in public bathrooms party affiliation does not determine sexuality though.
  11. >because the religious gun nutters don't like the idea of it Why do you feel the need to call gun owners religious nutters? I am pro 2nd amendment and believe in all the US constitution as written by the founding fathers. Myself and all gun owners I know, feel that everyone should be able to have any lifestyle, and practice any religion they want,as long as they do not infringe upon the rights of others. Hell I know alot of gay people who are pro 2nd amendment, because they are realistic about how the world works, and like being able to carry protection against bashers and other violent criminals.
  12. I could care less what two consenting adults do to each other, and if they want to commit to each other and get the same rights and treatment in the eyes of the law and society as any other couples, then so be it.
  13. >Do you think abusing presidential powers by removing constitutional rights is tyranny? Yes >Do you support the ndaa and therefore detaining american citizens without trial or jury? No >Do you believe the US government has been completely lawful in their actions? No >What do you think the forefathers were thinking when they drafted second amendment? The right of the people to keep arms to resist a government that has become tyrannical.
  14. The study says it all. Right on the money.
  15. Yeah DZ's are full of good judgement. I'm not saying that the threat of punishment is not severe, but so is getting nailed repeatedly with crack cocaine or smack, ect, and yet drug use and other crimes are rampant. I know people who have been in prison for repeated drunk driving charges, and they just keep doing it. Everytime I go to a bar,I see people get behind the wheel after having consumed well over what would put them over .08,but not staggering shitfaced. I think that serving laws that punish servers who keep feeding booze to someone who is lit, are effective at helping to deter shitfaced drivers.I really feel though that people in general have changed there view of drunk driving and feel it's immoral, and this is a huge factor in it's decline. Good people do not rape, steal, murder, ect, because it's illegal, but rather they do not want to, because illegal or not,it is wrong to them. Bad people will always do bad things until made to stop, and usually will do bad things again at their next chance, laws or no laws. Poverty I feel is also a huge factor in making people bad. Anyway,I apologise for getting this thread so far off the original topic. You have alot of good points and I enjoy going back and forth with you.
  16. I feel that MADD's campaign against drunk driving has educated people and helped change how they feel about drunk driving, and this has far more effect than a .08 blood alcohol law. People still drink and drive(look at all the cars at any watering hole),but they are less likely to be shitfaced when they climb behind the wheel, because it is not cool anymore. Less shitfaced= better driving=less accidents.
  17. >Or banning drunk driving has reduced the incidence of drunk driving? Inconceivable! I sure see alot of cars parked in drinking establishment parking lots. They sure have alot of DUI road blocks around the holidays as well. They also still have alot of DUI arrest in the police blotters. Hell in the last week here in the northwest they had a pedestrian killed by a drunk driver on the sidewalk in portland,a car drive of the road near cornelius oregon related do DUI, just to mention a couple of many. Last year they had several cops busted for DUI as well. These are just the high profile incidents and not to mention the DUI's who get away with it. I bet the rest of the US is the same as here.
  18. There are nut jobs on the left and the right. Remember senator Hank Johnson(D-GA) who was worried about gaum capsizing because of an increase in military personel and the people and infrastructure that would support them on one side of the island? Kind of like people thinking gun bans will stop criminals from getting guns to commit crimes. Just like banning unprescribed drug use has stopped unprescribed drug use.
  19. Can you still get tin foil? I've been using reynolds aluminum foil for my fashion statements.
  20. You are correct. The initial reports were that the AR was not found inside the school but rather was found in the car. Are we to believe that the first responders were so incompetent and unable to make basic observations, that they could not tell if the AR 15 was in the school or in the car? Like people are saying, why not just release the crime scene photos and the medical examiners report? Why is this information being undisclosed? Something smells fishy.
  21. >What does it matter if it was used? He had it with him. It matters alot if the media knew he did not use the rifle, yet reported he had used it. I'm not saying this report is right or wrong, but if it is right, then it seems like there is alot of the usual spin to distort the facts in support of an agenda.
  22. The report is from 12/15/2012,but I had not seen it until today when it was posted on another site 9 hours ago so I thought it was new. It is funny how I had seen so many reports on this story all pointing to the AR 15 as the weapon used, but I had never seen this report that stated otherwise. I never said anything about a conspiracy. I do feel there is alot of twisting and spinning of information used for political agendas though, and not just in the gun debate.
  23. Hope this works: http://beforeitsnews.com/media/2013/01/nbc-admits-no-assault-rifle-used-at-sandy-hook-2451558.htmlQuote
  24. Just seen this special report. It seems Lanza did not use his mothers Bushmaster AR 15 in the school shooting, but instead had left it in the trunk of his mothers car. The police have known this from the beginning yet this information has just now been released. The special news report said Lanza had tried to buy a rifle but had to wait 14 days before he could recieve it. Lanza then according to official reports had stolen his mothers handguns and the rifle after killing her. The report states that 4 handguns were used in the school and no rifles.
  25. Alcohol is a drug, and if I'm not mistaken, it's use actually increased during prohibition.
