  1. No, I reacted to somebodies blind support of the fool, not because I'm unable to talk about torture. I've actually got little to say on torture. Plenty to say on Bush. A global affliction! 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  2. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..................................... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  3. Good to see we agree on a couple of things...more importantly, I don't have to waste my timing backing up a fact. You denying this fact and demanding evidence is hilarious. You make me laugh sometimes. Thanks.
  4. Are you shouting at me again? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  5. And yet, smart enough to be the most powerful man in the world. Smarter than Gore. And Kerry. And anybody else who challenged him. Doesn't anyone on the left realize how juvenile they sound? Got issues with his policies? I do. Bush is a failed president. But calling the guy an idiot, who has thus far kicked the ass of the opposing party, must mean that those are the left are truly dolts. The mans a fool. That's fact. It speaks a lot for his opponents, the electorate, and your voting process. It's astounding in actual fact. Besides, disliking Bush doesn't mean you vote towards the left... edit: It'll be interesting in a morbid sense to listen to the candidates move mountains to unearth crap on each other now. And that does stink. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  6. Perhaps. In most cases where countries suffer internal strife you can look back and see a British finger in their pie, a.....er, anyway, it isn't necessary any longer. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  7. I suppose the most difficult area is to accept appeasement as being for the common good of all. Horrendously difficult to achieve but when it's the only viable solution... And neither side remain faultless too. I've often wondered what the Governments of the time expected from the app. 750 000 refugees they caused with the creation of Israel. 8. Excellent reply - your wit and reasoning has surely become outstanding. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  9. Nice to hear you're more concerned for justifying armed civilians rather than the reason for their need to feel it necessary to arm themselves. Another great post. Well done. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  10. I've regrettably poor working knowledge of this area of the world, despite it being the crux of so many issues these days. Billvon asked you for a solution - I'll answer for you as one seems strikingly obvious. Appeasement. It worked for our Northern Ireland problem. Certainly not ideal, but it'll eventually work for this problem too I would think. And Afghanistan, etc, etc..... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  11. As long as you need to insult him I know he is on the right track. Fool? Destroyed the US? Cant back any of that up. You dont like him? Fine, I really dont give a fuck becaus you are not from here.. As for the rest of your assurtions? WAFJ Idot fools are all over the place. He aint one of them. Do I like all he has done and the way he handled some things? Not even close. Does he desrsere the shit you just flung? Not even close Almost PA'd there, until I realised it wasn't necessary. As usual you've achieved a deplorable reply once again! Well done. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  12. Would I be right in assuming you're therefore proud of Dubya? A monkey? A fucking idiot of the highest order? If my assumption is correct, can you please explain your pride concerning this complete fool, who, along with his other idiot fools, has virtually destroyed americas standing throughout the world, and numerous innocent people too. Great. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  13. Yeah. And if McCain gets in there it's gonna be "same ole shit, different day" Well it could be: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss". This thread is too serious to start flippantly quoting 'The Who.' We all know success.... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  14. How would you explain a 6 and a 12 year old seeing someone in the backyard they have never met, seen, or been told about, but could descirbe what he looked like and was buried wearing to a "t"? Or, a 2-3 year old (not sure his age) talking to "himself" in his room regualrly and able to point out a picture of his dead uncle and say his name, when no one has told him about the uncle? I'm honestly curious as to what other physical factors could explain it. I rarely post here in Bonfire - rarely read the posts, but this one made me sit up. My children and my sisters children have had very similiar experiences. My Dad has seen a ghost in his house. Mad! I've not though - and I'm not exactly itching for the experience. 15. No - apparantly not - I'm in the process of finding the film footage. That would be even more impressive. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  16. I'm all ears. I heard during Vietnam a British Shackelton crew dropped off some aerial photographs they'd taken onto an aircraft carrier, by conducting a touch and go on the deck and throwing the film out! A week or so later the same crew decided to position themselves on a long final approach to the deck and knock off one of the engines. They were pretending that they needed to carry out an emergency landing on the ship and so also pretended they were suffering radio failure too. They knocked the approach off when they seen the Yanks pushing all the jets over the side to make room..... And then later lost their jobs.
  17. Jealous! Don't be daft. It reminds once of a time from my old job when we were on a freefall course in 'Sith Ifrica.' Flying back from where we were jumping, me and my mate have decided to pester the crew for a shot. It was quite funny - my buddies sat next to the pilot who's flying it one handed, explaining how best to keep her straight and level. As he hands over control to my mate, he's knocked the trim right off. My buddies grasping the controls with both hands, struggling to keep the aircraft level, arms shaking, beads of sweat appearing on his brow! 'Hey, relax!' said the pilot, taking control, and discreetly trimming the aircraft back out. 'See?' He says, flying it one handed again. 'Have another try...' as he begins to take the trim out again... The pilot couldn't have weighed more than 12 stone. My mates around 17. The sheepish look he had for the rest of the evening was hilarious. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  18. That's a nice scan - from what book did you find it? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  19. Then your view and mine shall continue to differ on that point. Why, are you a military pilot who knows differently? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  20. Obviously - hence my points. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  21. As Roy Scheider (RIP) would say, 'Y'gonna need a bigger Herc...' Indeed! Like an An 225?? Having experienced what it's like diving off the ramp then surely these pictures either demonstrate fantastic flying, insane flying, or a fantastic flight stabilisation system? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  22. Hilarious!! So he told his wee boy all the CIA objectives and secrets then? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  23. Like I said earlier, I know serving cowards who continually manage to avoid operational tours, yet still fly aircraft with outrageous safety records. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  24. His aviation actions were little more than driving a car in comparison to risk and danger. Considering the alternative was Vietnam, and that flying is an enjoyable job, he gets no kudos in my book. I think your mad to support the nob. If he wasn't such a nob he'd have served in Vietnam, end of story. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
