Full text letter of Iranian President to American President
vortexring replied to vortexring's topic in Speakers Corner
its very interesting speculation - if its true perhaps thats why its not mainstream info. - then again, apparently it was discussed on a UK C4 television programme. It would be interesting if there's any related stories on this matter in the UK/US national newspapers. Anyone hear about this in the papers? Any links? I think tha......hang on sec. have to answer the door... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.' -

thanks again mate 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.' -
There is some interesting speculation regarding the reasons for the Iraq war and possibly Iran. This is apparantly due to the fact OPEC countries trading oil in Euro's instead of Dollars has MASSIVE implications for America: http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CLA410A.html (anyone make this a clicky please?) The text is worryingly believable - but I wonder why the Iranian made no comment on this matter in his letter to US President? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'

I put the original link up ref. the speculation behind the reasoning for war in Iraq and maybe Iran - have a look at this, it argues the reasons being OPEC leaning towards using the Euro rather than the Dollar to trade their oil - and the massive implications of this for the USA: http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CLA410A.html (clicky please? How is it done!?) I was wondering why the Iranian President made no mention of this in his letter - any ideas anyone? Anyone got any opinions on the legitamacy regarding this speculation on the Euro/Dollar/War article? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.' -

http://www.president.ir/eng/ahmadinejad/cronicnews/1385/02/19/index-e.htm#b3 I found this to be very interesting and hopefully some of you might too, regarding the recent arguments on the Iran/Iraq/USA topics. p.s. could someone make the link "clickable" please? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.' -
Mate - there are hidden agenda's in those speach's - sorry you feel everyone puts USA on there shitlist - certain US attitudes drive me/rest of global population fu***ng mad - but despite pissing us(west - europe - uk) off - we dont properly hate you. And we might take the piss - but we dont hate you. Your attitudes in relation to international affairs generally fucking stink - but we really dont hate you guys. But your politicians/forces have to sort this attitude out - and soon!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because one day we might not be so forgiving - then we're all in the shit...... And I've not even mentioned the middle east yet! 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'

U.N. Says U.S. Should Close Gitmo Prison
vortexring replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Wrong. This is not a Holy war but we're certainly doing a good job of starting one thanks to a commander in chief who thinks he's getting orders from God. The terrorists have told us numerous times why they attacked us. 1) Our presence on and manipulation of Arab soil. 2) Our lopsided support of Israel. Bush's answer to that was to increase our foot print in the middle east through a war of aggression (one could argue imperialism) and to steadfastly back the Israelis in their conflict with the Palestinians. Now if we're going to be imperialists then we need to quit f'ing around and say it. That way our leadership won't have to come up with excuses like "spreading freedom" or "liberating". Just call it what it is, a military incursion to secure a natural resource that we want and the cementing of our influence over the rest of the world so that we continue to remain in control. At least this think tank, the one that's actually running the administration right now, had the fortitude to put it in writing. www.newamericancentury.org We need to cut the bullshit and come clean with the American public. That way we can decide for ourselves whether or not this is the route we want to take. What a sensible post - what did you drink!? The Fountain of Knowlege?? 100 Reported Killed in Afghan Fighting

You obviously dont know me either or military operations - then again, if you did know anything about military ops you'd perhaps realise that such a weapons platform is an area weapon. But then again, how many times have they or similiar been used where civilians are in close proximity? How many times have innocent civilians been killed? Friendly forces too, for that matter. So it wont really surprise me if it transpires that your actually an aircrew member of this a/c type. I'm not trying to critisise you personally, because your right, I dont know you. But I do know America often demonstrates dangerously gung-ho tactic's and attitudes that not only cause avoidable civilian deaths, cause far more long term damage than what the immediate short gain goals are worth. Hence my sarcasm relating it to the film "Team America." So any criticism is directed at this unfortunate attitude. I'm sure you might try and explain exactly why bringing such a weapon system into the mentioned situation would have been critical, and yes it may well have....... But do I really need to reiterate my points again? Anyway, I'm sure you meant well by what you originally posted, but as mentioned, my rants not directed at you. Its directed at an attitude prevalent amongst some US Forces that is actually detrimental to your operational effectiveness. p.s. only country to successfully win a campaign against insurgents/terrorists was the UK in Malaysia THROUGH WINNING THE HEARTS AND MIND BATTLE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And what about the third world people!!?? Sorry guys, we're forcing you to stop developing as a nation - see, our greedy fat need for oil is FAR greater than yours. Here, have this Red Cross biscuit and fuck off. Jesus! Yeah proper "Team America" attitude. "The terrorists are dead!" "But so are my children and my home no longer exists - thanks Team America - fuck yeah!" Thats a little bit of the attitude thats caused all the problems in Iraq - remember all the civilians cheering in the streets after the war?? Hearts and Minds is the key. Win this battle and the terrorists/insurgents/militia's lose their support base. They will lose their effectiveness. People will have less reasons to become involved. Perhaps show some respect and humility, lose the YEEHAH! FUCK YEAH! attitude and you'll reap the results. I genuinely like Americans. You are the good guys. Stamp down on all this shit and start acting like it. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.' -
We have very similiar immigration problems in the U.K. And also in France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Macedonia! etc, etc. If only this influx of people could stop being so selfish and stay in their own country! Are our Governments international policies at fault here? Is it the general globalisation effect? Are there even any solutions?? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" Awww... the kitty is so CUTE! I'm sure the women crying for their decapitated children will be comforted by that. The kitten is cute.... pity its not an American soldier stroking it - an Israeli perhaps?? English i think No mate - your miles out there. See the hint above... Infinity - this is someone else's theory; The solar system; the sun, 9 planets orbiting, some with moons, orbiting the planets. An atom, consisting of a nucleus, varying electrons orbit the nucleus depending on the element, and apparantly tacheons orbit the electrons... hmmm, that seems like a miniture version of something.....spilt an atom/split a star? Wormholes? How about greater beings than us put us all down together here on earth with perhaps the goal of us all achieving peace and tolerance between all our diffrent cultures and religions? Perhaps there's actually lots of different Gods? Perhaps when we die we go to our own particular God in accordance with race/religion? Coming from a Christian country I think this theory according to the bible is wrong - but it makes more sense to me. Going by what the bible says doesn't make sense considering its generally a collection of fables. Turned into a pillar of salt? Forever merciful and loving? Infinite time in Hell? Repentance? Seems a bit of a contradiction going on...... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'

So surely you must see how your answering your own question miked10270? The U.S. will literally support anything for its own interests, through fair means or foul. The Golden Triangle? Set up to fund illegal ops. The Afghan opium trade? Set up to fund the Mujaheddin, etc, etc This is boring isn't it? People generally hate being pushed around - Arabic people especially - they're a proud race, and why not? Losing face means a lot more to individuals there than in the west. The Iranian Government wont back down on this. So until some bright spark comes up with a peaceful solution, we're all in the shit. So despite the Iranians being buddies with the U.S. before, they're not screwing the nut anymore, so the U.S. are looking to give them a shoeing. And its not as if they're not asking for it........ When the initial "war" fighting ended in Iraq the people cheered the Allied forces in the streets. But as we know, the insurgents ability to bring bombings and death to the occupying forces and innocent people quickly became the key issue. Their capability is massively supported by Iran. Why not? Iran finds itself under threat from Western forces not only in Iraq, but Afghanistan too - its literally surrounded. So perhaps tie up the Allies in Iraq - if all the trouble got sorted out in Iraq, guess who's next?? Why? Perhaps because the Government are hell bent on producing nuclear weapons? (No wonder, eh?), or because they've mentioned the intent to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth? Just to name a couple of points - I recognise the arguement that Iran have the right to defend themselves - but they dont have the right to destabilise an already unstable area. Perhaps you could counter argue thats what the U.S. are doing right now. But I wonder what the global situation would be like if Bush decided, "Ah Fcuk it! Lets call it a day and go home." Not just in the short term, i.e. Shia's and Sunni's and whoever else knocking the utter sh*t out each other, but the long term..........who/what else will fill the gap? Basically it boils down to this: Would you rather be the "Daddy" or the "Mummy?" If its the later go hug some tree's - and dont consume any petroleum based products...
