  1. hahahahaaa! indeed. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  2. As for tazers, you have to get more "up close and personal" to the perp, something that makes YOU more likely to be injured. So why carry a handgun? (Edited to add: shit range) Ever fired it under fire yourself? Perhap's - but probably not. I'd love to see your grouping accuracy fired under pressure from 10metres, nevermind 25. Don't give me any of your range time crap and achievements either. I've worked with your professional's where they've been "under pressure." I'm lucky to be alive because your nation's professional's were "under pressure." This is actually winding me up now. So I won't let it! Fuck it. All the best. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  3. Jesus 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  4. Me thinks you haven't had much range time, have you? There is scarcely an anti-gunner around who, after going to a shooting range and target shooting, has maintained his predjudicial leanings and vexacious delusions. Just to make the point clearer...... This opinion I have is derived from PROFESSIONAL "range time." And it wasn't always a soddin' range. Now go and stand in the corner, silly boy 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  5. Mate - your fuckin' miles out there. Ask Warpedskydiver. That statement actually pisses me off. But sod it - who cares 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  6. You certainly make your point - what I'd do is move somewhere else where I didn't feel my family was so threatened. I'm surprised you home teach as do your friends. I'm aware some incomprehensible murders took place at school's in the U.S. - but you feel this is such a threat you feel it necessary to home teach!? That's a real shame. Is this home teaching becoming more common then? I'm sure some crimes have been averted through gun ownership - but far,far more have been initiated through gun ownership. I don't know - in it's simplistic form I see people with gun collections being a bit weird is all. Im British - takes one to know one, what? Wouldn't you rather taser an assailant rather than blow his brains across the street? The power of owning a gun, and the finality of force can be dangerously seductive. How many gun owners cant wait for that intruder to arrive to kill him? The whole thing is wrong 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  7. >You can only look at stamps. Boring! I'd rather have something I can take out and shoot. < This just about confirms my theory guns are for some replacements of part of the human anatomy. Case solved. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  8. Anyway, don't want to start a fight. Funniest thing I seen on U.S. tv was some program about a mad cop called Hammer. He's lining himself up on the pistol range with what looks to be a silencer attached to the mag44. His boss asks; "Whats that Hammer? A silencer?" "This little do da's my own invention....." he says, "It's a LOUDENER!" BANG!!!" Classic - about sum's you mentalists up!
  9. stamp collectors are geeks Anyway, I'm off to polish my Rambo knives... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  10. >The NY bombings showed that Americans aren't protected within the country's borders and quite a few of them would like to have at least one option should things get hairy< Come on!!! Thats a crap excuse! Thats like taking a BASE rig with you to work, as it's a high rise and if terrorists fly planes into the building I might survive that and the only way to terra fima is by parachute... Why don't more of you all wear assault vests and carry tasers then? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  11. I've edited this - even I'm getting bored of being critical of the U.S all the time. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  12. Micro do you live in such an area where you feel it's necessary to defend your family with guns? What about when the children are at school? If you work away from the family, do you take it with you to work? Perhaps in area's in Iraq, or Chechnya for example, there is a clear reason. But America? Land of the IfeelsothreatenedIpackiron? Just seem's all a bit mental. Sorry 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  13. Why on earth do so many American's feel it necessary to own guns? Why own a 50cal Desert Eagle for example? (It's a pistol designed by the Israeli's to disable tank engines from close range) Why own an assault rifle? Why own a weapon collection? Weird. In fact, it's not weird. I know what it is. But I'm not trying to wind anyone up. Really. Just can't get my head round it. Is it a Wild West/Gunslinger type thingy? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  14. Yep. What do you think we should do about it? 2 obvious options; invade Iran or negotiate a single currency monetary system. The $ can't stay the worlds reserve currency forever - especially with the U.S's unilateral approach to world affairs. Generating loads of international support here, eh? So it's a case of accepting either lesser economic dominance or enforcing economic dominance. Unilateralism - not good. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  15. Or OPEC trading in euro's? The REAL threat to American stability! 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  16. How can they be so stupid then? How can they fail to see what the rest of the Country and World see? I can only see 2 possible answers: 1) Outrageous & arrogant stupidity. 2) Hidden agenda's. That aren't quite so well hidden... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  17. Their not even a proper country anyway.... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  18. yeah, sorry, I get your drift. Surely to fuck it's not like that. I do wonder sometimes..... End of day I don't see President Bush as a seriously bad dude - more likely he's motivated to act in what he see's as his countries best interests. But doesn't the unilateral approach cause even worse long term problems? 9/11 made the USA more insular - but was there ever a time where the USA needed more nations on its side? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  19. Well, I doubt President Bush having read the letter, folded it away into his shirt pocket, stretched, then went off and dealt with some other Presidential matter........ 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  20. Hence the reason to post it - wonder what our Governments made of it all - would have loved to have been the fly on the wall listening to that discussion. I wonder why it's not been shown in any national media outlets? Anyone seen it in the Western press? 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  21. Sorry - but there are monopole magnets!!
  22. Thanks Mike - pretty serious implications for USA eh? I wonder why nobody else has any arguement for or against all this? Isn't there anyone here who supports the US Governments policy in Iraq? Or is a Petrodollar war acceptable? Or does Europe shoulder some responsibility in encouraging OPEC countries to trade in Euro's, and hence helping to destabilize the US economy? Question I'm wondering - would appreciate some comments - should the UK strengthen its ties with the USA or Europe? I personally think with the USA - but ideally, act as a bridge in strengthening relationships with US/Europe. Wouldn't partnership between us all be better than competition?? Then again, don't bridges get walked over.... 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
  23. >"Yeah... It's pretty accurate. IF oil came to be traded in Euros instead of US Dollars America would be FUCKED!" Alright Mike? - I've enjoyed reading your threads - and have a question for you: Was there any article/s in particular that made you aware of this speculation? Thanks
  24. yeah, fair enough - but I didn't see anything in the Iranian Presidents letter about wanting to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Or even anything said in a threatening type manner about Israel. Is this Western propaganda to justify the sabre rattling on Iran? Or is there factual documentation of Iran officially making such a statement? Up until recently I quite happily assumed the statement to be fact. But I'd like to see some evidence now. On a lot of these things in fact. 'for it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "chuck 'im out, the brute!" But it's "saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot.'
