  1. Eat bread and drink wine? With a hooker? In the middle east? I should expect you find the easy stuff to do. steveOrino
  2. [random thought] Have you ever noticed how the bible seems to answer everything with one sentence blurbs.. [question] Do you think the people this man brought over to christ now need to be 're indroctrinated' or such, re-babtised or what ever they do. I mean he was a false prophet, a wolf etc.., that is clear. Say one was brought over to christ durring his time at the pulpit - then died before this news came out, did he go to hell? Why? He (Haggard) didn't save them, Jesus did. steveOrino
  3. JC will defeat evil with physical force? BS! That is how the Crusades started. Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. (Matthew 26:52) Evil has been defeated by Christ's death and resurection. It is finished. (John 19:30) All we need do is accept his victory! And it would help if we would quit looking for some dude in the middle east and quit trying to stop evil by defeating it with force. Has not Christ taught us anything about the way we should live? steveOrino

  6. no problem. I'm too sensitive about soldiers and stuff. My days are passed but I have kids serving, and I guess I take the parent approach too often. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Even if it is ridiculous IMHO. steveOrino
  7. You are serious?? I cut and pasted, bold typed and underlined the word -- and you still don't think he called US soldiers mercanaries??? steveOrino
  8. I'll help you see it (emphasis mine) "But it is the United States, and the recent NBC report is just an ugly reminder of the price we pay for a mercenary - oops sorry, volunteer - force that thinks it is doing the dirty work." steveOrino
  9. Funny, soldiers like you, me and my son among 1000s of others give him the freedom of speech to post such garbage. steveOrino

  13. I bet that makes you feel superior, eh? Nameless poster who makes fun of disabled people with your condescending names ... Some people's disabilities are just more noticeable than others. I think your's is obvious. I work with emotionally disturbed, autistic, MR, Asperger's syndrome, and learning diabled kids. (and I have a son with AS) You're the guy that creates a ton of problems for these poor kids with your "funny comments" like short bus, window lickers ... etc. steveOrino

  15. How many have sent pics in to Parachutist? They do the exact same thing, do they not? I've been paid for all the photos of mine that Parachutist used. (except pictures of people getting awards) steveOrino

I went to SCUBA school in '78, and I was slotted for HALO school in '79, but eh, I ets to go to college. steveOrino
  17. I thought the image of the pink elephant in the room was clever for those who don't understand sarcasm in written form, but hey, you're in SC. People are looking for a fight. Keep up the sarcasm. It keeps us on our toes. steveOrino

  21. Damn Texans. Only thing comes from Texas is "Steers and Queers" Being a Long Horn, I guess I'm okay with that, but Aggie Dave may disapprove of you calling him a queer. EDITED TO ADD: I may have had the big V but I still have the other stuff, so maybe I'm not a steer ... steveOrino
  22. I heard it, but you can bet it won't get much press. I'm confident there were other Christian coaches in the Super Bowl. Being a Texan, Tom Landry comes to mind. I think Tony was stating his priorities. While I admire him for who he is, I think God is neutral on the SB. steveOrino
