  1. It is -- and I just tweaked a portion of it this morning at 6:30 am CST -- RELOAD and see again. steveOrino
  2. My friend bought it in ;98 I think. So yeah, it probably was. he bought it in Arlington I think. Grea bike!
  3. First jump was 1977. I quit in 1980 to get a degree and raise 4 kids. When the last kid graduated, I started back up. Miss it? Yeah, Regrets, not many -- my main resposibilty was raising 4 good kids. I did that. Now I'm having fun ... skydiving and being a grandparent. steveOrino
  4. `You got me on that one -- other people reformated and added the drivers. I plan on taking it back to the guys who sold it to me to see if they can be of any help. steveOrino
  5. You know, that about sums up my high school life.
  6. Dang! @#$%^&* I drew a great one last night after the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition where the SDA staff did the tandem/video. I forgot to upload it before I went to work this morning. aaarrrrggghh!!! IF I can get my son out of bed -- I will talk him through uploading it -- and I will post that it is up. Sorry about that. steveOrino
  7. If I can resolve my software issues it will be up on my site (extreme-visuals.com) this week. steveOrino
  8. I the day we loaded the software. did. It is not looking good is it? steveOrino
  9. It was weird pulling before the tandem -- When mel (Mule) waved, I pulled so I could get video of the canopy in the air. They used very little of it though. We wanted two vidiots but they wanted the director to be in the plane too. It is funny what whuffos think look good as far as skydiving. steveOrino
  10. How fitting that those of us in Oklahoma are not seeing all the show because we are in the middle of severe weather. If anyone taped the whole 2 hour show that did not get "breaking news" interuptions, please let me know how I can obtain a copy from you. steveOrino
  11. Well, I knew any image of me (the vidiot) would be on the cutting room floor, but I was happy with what they did with my plane and freefall footage.
  12. Nope... She was an ROTC cadet that for whatever reason got a slot in airborne school..... I'll try again ... Cadet with jump wings complaining about walking what seemed to be a mile, Sheesh! No wonder Im cynica! steveOrino
  13. Okay we had a computer that ran our Premiere 6.0 software this summer no problem. Then about 3 months agao it began locking up. We thought it might be lack of RAM or some other computer issue. We upped the RAM to 1 gig -- 40 gig HD - processor is about 2.5. We cleaned it up and reformatted. We tried another software, this time we uploaded Premiere Elements. Same issues -- it freezes up. Not always in the same place, but eventually it will freeze up. We took Elements back off. Defragged and reloaded Premiere 6.0. Locks up almost immediately. I remind you this thing ran for months on this same computer. What could be the problem? Any ideas? steveOrino
  14. No, I don't. They contacted Lloyd Chapin, DZO of www.skydiveairtight.com. I'm not sure if he does or not. He may. steveOrino
  15. I did the freefall footage for the tandem skydive on tonight's (March 12th) Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Mel Tilley did the tandem and Llyod Chapin, DZO flew the plane for www.skydiveairtight.com ABC time: 6 PM -- 8 PM two (2) hours!! For those of you who watch it regularly -- it is on an hour earlier tonight (6 PM instead of 7 PM) It is a 2 hour special show and I guees they don't want to bump Desparate Housewives, so they are starting an hour earlier. steveOrino
  16. The leaders of our "elite" Army forces complaining about walking what seemed to be a mile . Sheesh! No wonder I'm cynical! She was an ROTC cadet... Not apart of the Airborne... Its a bit different. She came from college and went back to college after completion of the course... No offense Shauna. Okay, let me repharse... Airborne soldier complaining about walking what seemed to be a mile, Sheesh! No wonder Im cynica! That better? steveOrino
  17. In a few months (afer you get your 200 jumps) Keep in mind most vidiots use SONY. While there are advantages buying new, I have been very successful in buying "last year's" model on Ebay for 1/2 the price it would cost new. Some prefer you to buy new and a warranty. i say no. let's use an HC46 for example: retail $500 + $200 warranty. basic same camera on Ebay but a few models ago (1 year) HC40: $250 Break it? Buy another oine for less than you paid for the first. Plus if you send in in for warranty you are without a camera for 2-3 weeks. Buy one on Ebay and have it overnighted for $25. I've been doing this for the past three years and I'm very happy with it. I hope that is good advice, now get those jumps and experience!
  18. I believe the first picture anyone sent me of you was YOU puking! steveOrino
  19. I'm not directing at you per say, but you must admit your original post sounded like whining. Walking one mile with gear -- gimme a break! Back in my day they allowed women to go through on lower standards. I hope they don't do that now. My daughter, the mother of two girls, (former Collegiate All Conference shortstop) could kick most guys butt. Sounds like you may be able to as well. Good. That kind of women we need. We DON'T need women (or men) who can't pass muster. steveOrino
  20. www.skydiveairtight.com near Tulsa, OK He'll need a parental consent - live or notarized. steveOrino
  21. ditto that! First thing I thought of when I saw the pic steveOrino
  22. I wonder what they thought would be easier to fake -a new log book with one entry on it numbered 1601 or a USPA card with D License and AFFI rating! Some people! I'd left too. BTW I log my jumps even though I only have 900+. All be it they are briefer descriptions. You neverknow ... in your old age you may want that award. steveOrino
  23. No, but I'd shake his hand and probably say something stupid. I don't have many "idols, heroes, etc" but he'd be one. He does great work! steveOrino
