" all because he's been suckered into being a cheap source of advertising for a consumer product that tastes like cough medicine." Redbull has actually been pretty good to a lot of people in this sport with sponsorships so bad mouthing Redbull is hardly the answer. The guy is simply and asswhole and that's it. R

The Boyz work really hard all year long to make the Film Festival what it is and it just keeps getting better and better. Planning has already started for next year. You stated it pretty well when you said you have to attend to understand. I've heard many people over the last week saying it is the best freefly event in the country. I feel priveledged to have been a part of it every year for the last 4 years. The party was awesome despite the fact I nearly froze to death. Was this your first time there? Rhonda

Ahh man. That sucks. That's in my neighborhood but he always jumped at Snohomish and not my home dz Kapowsin so I never met him. -
No. We live up in Redmond about 45 minutes from the dz so she take lessons here. She loves the horses that belong to the Farringtons and grooms them and plays with them when she is at the DZ but has never ridden them. Rhonda

The coolest new freefly pants on the planet!
SkyDolphin replied to SkyDolphin's topic in The Bonfire
Yea Monica is awesome. She will make whatever you want. My husband ordered a pair and he wanted to use an RSL as the buckle and she did it! It's pretty cool. I just got a new pair and love them. Purple with silver and irredescent torqouise flamy stripy things. I don't know how else to describe them. She also makes cool party clothes and design other stuff but she doesn't have any of that on the website yet. Rhonda -
Richard is coming but the daughter is staying home. She is taking riding lessons on Saturdays and nothing can keep her away from her horse these days. Rhonda

Yep. That's Burnie. We do one every year. It gets bigger and bigger each year with more pirotechnics added. It's pretty damn cool. There is a picture or two on the website. Rhonda

Pammi, I've been married for 12 years (almost -- December 8th) and my husband and I are still completely infatuated with each other. We get teased a lot too about being icky gooey and we have told "you'll get over it" so many times it's not funny. But like you, our marriage keeps getting better. Rhonda

Since we had the whole Harry Potteer Fan Club thread going few weeks ago, I thought I would post a note saying that Richard Harris aka. Albus Dumbledore died today at the age of 72. Can't imagine who will get they get to replace him in the next movie(s). This makes me sad. Rhonda

What kind of car/truck should a sky diver drive?
SkyDolphin replied to AirTime's topic in The Bonfire
I just got a 2002 Mazda Tribute and I love it. The back seats fold completely down for sleeping. Plenty of room for gear and extra crap. And with all the added options (heated leather seats, moonroof, upgraded stereo system, side impact airbags, tow package for my boat) I still paid under $26,000 for it. Pretty good for a new car with all the extras. http://autos.msn.com/vip/newoverview.aspx?make=Mazda&model=Tribute&src=LeftNav&pos=Find Rhonda -
Usually in order to qualify as a win you have to jump your pack job. That actually gives the participants the incentive to really pack it instead of just shoving it in the bag. But to be honest, I haven't seen the official rules for this years contest. Last year almost everyone that participated jumped their pack job and everyone that did had a "normal" opening and not one reserve ride. R

The 6th Annual Flyboyz Film Festival begins next Thursday, Oct. 31 at Perris. If you've never been to one of the Flyboyz events, now is your chance to come out and see what you have missing. Fritz, Eli and Charles always work hard putting together great events and this years festival will be no exception. There are lot's of great daytime and evening events planned including organized jumps with photo ops and the opportunity to purchase copies of the photos, blind packing races, tracking races, Hit and Chug competition, a Fire-walk, Costume Halloween party and of course the highlight of the weekend, the preview of the 2002 film submissions and award ceremony. Come out and participate in the organized jumps and who knows, you may end in Parachutist or Skydiving. Maybe even a cover shot. There will be lot's of photographers on hand in addition to the Flyboyz with our new Digital setup. We now have the capability to print photos for purchase in various sizes right on the premesis. If you want to take a look at the full schedule or check some photos and information from previous Film Festivals go to the web site. Flyboyz.com R

I'm 6 and a half years older than my husband. It has never been a problem for us. He was a very mature 21 when we met and 22 when we got married. Most people think he is older than me. The only time it bothers me is when he makes remarks like, "You remember when Happy Days was on in it's first run. I remember when it was in syndication." or "That song was before my time." Then I just smack him and go on with life Rhonda

When I lived in VA I had almost no skydiving friends. My DZ was a 3 hour drive and no one else lived near me that skydived so I only saw the skydivers one or two weekends a month. Since moving to Seattle area, almost all the people I've met outside of work have been skydivers so I'd say that 90% of my friends are skydivers. (I don't consider any people I work with real friends. Not that I don't like them I just don't hang out with them outside of work) I can count on one hand the number of whuffo friends that I have. That being said, all my whuffo friends are totally cool about hanging out with skydivers at parties and we all get along great. One big happy family. R

Kapowsin is awesome! I won't be around on Saturday though. Sadly. My daughter has riding lessons on Saturdays for the winter and that takes up most of my day. My husband Richrad will probably be there. Big Blonde freeflyer. You can't miss him. The weather forecast sounds pretty good for the weekend. Have fun. Rhonda

I go to yoga classes 4 times a week for an hour and a half each and I also do some other form of excercise everyday. It depends on my mood. Sometimes I walk, sometimes Pilates sometimes the eliptical trainer but something everyday. R

Over the river and through the woods! Seriously, CSS has the best Thanksgiving Boogie on the East Coast. West Coast, I don't know. I hear Perris does a decent one but I've never been. Rhonda
