Yea the girls were so excited that they actually volunteered to vacuum and dust for me. Now if I could just figure out what it would take for them to clean the toilets for me. Rhonda

It's such a great a feeling to be a hero in your kids eyes. Not only am my daughters hero today but I am also her 3 closest friend's hero too. The latest "teen" band to come out, Jump5, made an appearance in the cafeteria at my office. I knew they were going to be here but didn't tell. I picked the girls up from school and brought them to my office as a surprise. I told them we were just going to have lunch and then I would drive them home afterwards. Imagine their surprise when we were sitting in the cafeteria just hanging around after eating and in walks there new favorite band. They each got an autographed CD and poster and a cool experience to brag about at school tomorrow. And I get to be the coolest mom in the world until I am dethroned by some other great treat. Rhonda

The weather in Spokane on the Eastern side of the Cascades is completely different from the Western side. We usually have great summers. Not too hot but sunny and with all the water and mountains it's just gorgeous. One thing that surprised me when I moved here was that people usually don't let the rain stop from them from being active. People are out running, skating, biking, wakeboarding, whatever in the rain. Except skydiving of course. That's why we all head to CA as often as we can in the winter. Rhonda

I have a good friend that has one that I get to drive whenever I want (except that now it's in CA and I'm in Seattle). We were going to buy it from him but decided that it is too expensive to maintain. Cool vehicle though. Fun to drive. Rhonda

Man I would love to get some snow. We haven't even had snow in the Mts. yet which is going to suck for ski/snowboard season. The resorts should already be open by now. R

Because that is the English English spelling of the word not the American English. Kind of like theatre instead of theater. There are many words in the English language that are spelled differently in America than in any of the other English speaking countries. Why? Probably because an immigrant at some time spelled them incorrectly and they just stuck. But if you look the words up in the dictionary, both speellings appear. R

I don't jump at my first DZ any longer because I moved across the country. But now I can't even visit anymore when I'm in the area because they closed in 2001 after their only plane crashed. Rhonda
