Well, technically yes. But I have been doing some Freelancing and maintaining other sites that I don't get paid for. Rhonda

    New Job

I finally got a new job after being unemployed for 5 months and I get my first paycheck this week. YAHHHOOOOO!!!! Maybe I'll get to visit my friends in Perris soon. God I hope so! Rhonda
  3. Sadly, I don't even have an email for the person looking for him so I'm not sure what I would do with him if he responds. But I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. I did find out that he hasn't jumped since 2000 at Kapowsin. I think my friend got a phone number but I don't know if it's good or not. Pretty funny since that's my home DZ and I've never heard of him. I guess that's more information than you needed huh? Rhonda
  4. Hi everyone. A college professor of a friend of mine is looking for an old friend that is a skydiver. He thought maybe I might be able to help track him down. The professor's name is Ed Durgan and he is looking for someone named Thadd Huhn or Hunn. Anyone know anyone by that name? Rhonda

    haircut?

There's a whole cleanliness issue too. Let's face it. It just stands to reason that it's easier to keep clean and odor free the smaller amount of bush there is. OMG was that my outside voice! Rhonda
  6. Well, for one, although I can't confirm this first hand but I'm guessing, that it's a more humid heat in Lodi. Perris is not that bad. I go from Seattle to Perris in July and August and it's not bothered me. Just remember to drink lot's of water; if you aren't peeing you are dehydrated. And they do have a pool and a bar for cooling off. Not to mention an air conditioned gear store. Rhonda
  7. Definately. After 13 years of marriage I still consider myself the luckiest woman alive to have found Richard. He's my life! Rhonda
  8. Didn't you ever do anything when you were young that made your parents say "Where did I go wrong?" Maybe then it was as simple as wearing a KISS t-shirt or drinking beer but each generation has it's "thing". It's no big deal. You didn't fail. If her getting a piercing is the worse thing you have to worry about, I'd say you did ok. I, for one, can't wait to see what my daughter, who is now 11, comes up with. Then again since her mom and dad are pretty unconventional (I have a tongue piercing and a naval piercing and several tatoos) and so on, the only way she will be able to shock us is to become a book warm. "But, Mom I don't want to go to that party tonight. I'd rather stay home and read!" "Honey, she doesn't like to party" "Where did we go wrong." OK that's a bit of an exaggeration but you get the point. R

Wow Raymond and Erica. Good for you two. I am so happy for you. Can't wait to see you soon. Rhonda
  10. Although not a sport, yoga is great. It develops strength, relaxation and flexability but more importantly it helps develop body awareness. Rhonda
  11. Since Ben is a very good friend, I have spending time everyday in the hospital with him. I saw him an hour after his surgery, and all things considered, he looked amazing and he continues to do well. Everyday he looks and feels a lot better. The road ahead is going to be a tough one though with chemo and radiation so please keep the good vibes coming. He really enjoys reading the guestbook. His girlfriend, Shannon, prints it out for him every couple days since he doesn't have internet access at the hospital. Rhonda
  12. Remember a couple weeks ago when the movie "Wag the Dog" came up? Well, this morning I'm sitting in my living room watching the news and they are talking about a speech given by the Iraqi Minister of Information (Minister of mis-Information). In his speech he mentioned the movie, telling the Iraqi people that we are using the same tactics described in the movie and that we are waging a "fake war and we are not in fact in control of the airport or anywhere near Baghdad. What a funny coincidence. Can you say "Dilusional"?
  13. Email Fritz at Fritz@flyboyz.com. He will be able to give you all the info you need. Rhonda
  14. I was so afraid to open that photo. I see my fears were well founded! Rhonda
  15. Mike left the Flyboyz around the end of 2000. Charles Bryan came onboard in the summer of 2001. Rhonda
  16. We had an Indian guy come out to the dz to do a static line once. They had him on radio but I guess his English wasn't so good. Not only did he not land anywhere near the student landing area but he managed to land himself on the roof of one of the buildings and got the canopy caught on an antenna. Let me tell you, the DZO who just happened to be on radio with him was pissed off but man was it funny. R
  17. Poor Cindy. She will be spending a lot of time living that one down. R
  18. Just out of curiosity, are the stars that support Bush and the war more intelligent in your opinion? I have no idea what their educational backgrounds are. Howard Stern, Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Dennis Hopper, Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, etc. Education does not intelligence make. I know people with only high school educations that have invented mio-electronic controllers for artificial limbs, built great computer software... I also know people with PHD's that don't know how to hammer a nail into a piece of wood or carry on a normal conversation. How can you measure intelligence by what someone can or has learned from a book at college? R
  19. That was a joke, byt the way! Rhonda
  20. My husband and I watched it on Sunday. We saw it when it first came out and I wasn't all that interested in it at the time. But I really paid attention to it this time. Certainly made me think. I think it is possible to get an Iraqi citizen to talk but I still believe that Saddam is evil. I know people who have been there and seen for themselves. I would tell you more but then I would have to kill you. Rhonda
  21. This is a movie recommendation. If you haven't seen it, rent it. It's pretty timely at the moment. Or at least it has the potential to be timely. Great cast too. It's about some presidential aids trying to divert the press away form a sex scandal in an election year by creating a war. So they hire a Hollywood producer to help them. It's a comedy but I can certainly how something like this could really happen. I'm not saying of course that I think that is what is happening but I can see the potential. Anyway, watch the movie. It's a good one. Rhonda
  22. OK so the really important thing here is, like it or not, there is a war right now and many many soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen are there. We all probably know at least one person who is there. So instead of bickering over what is right and what is wrong, why don't we all concentrate on sending good vibes and prayers to those who are there. Pray for their safe return and pray for a minimum of loss of life on both sides. Let's show our support and love for the troops even if we don't agree with the reason they are there. As for me, I have a 6 foot inflatable light up American Flag in my front yard that will stay there, lit up until this thing is over. Just my 2 cents. Rhonda
