  1. I would have figured you more this kind of person. But whatever works best for you... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  2. Definately agreed...Id wanna ad that a strict number is hard to come up with, but its defenately good to mention you need a conciderable amount of wingsuit flying experience before adding these kind of distractions. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  3. Not just yet...but the Need4Speed video already shows one V-ish toy with quite a lot of detail. Another one will be introduced in about a month or so.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  4. On FS dives altitude is a number getting lower, but not actual live feedback on your performance. For wingsuit it wouldnt be my kinda thing, but sure a tool to help finetune ones performance. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  5. More interesting woul be the option to use the HUD function, with a camera facing backwards, so the (experienced) base flyer can adjust speed or key points, as he/she sees the formation completing. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  6. There's some Russian/Ukranian guy already working on a wingsuit specific version (Cyber-Eye), and quite far into development: pic1 pic2 pic3 video of the HUD in action can be found here The thread also mentions other alternatives like this one: pic1 pic2 JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  7. What was nice about the JVC 3D camera is that the 3D option is a bit like a beam-splitter. And it looks like a seperate unit you could potentialy screw onto other videocameras as well. With the 3D format mostly being a vertical or horizontal split, it should be something thats concievable as an optical device thats available for all types of video cameras. Though very limited in depth compared to cameras that activly change the spacing/aim of the lenses, its still a nice feature to have, without the whole hassle of needing 2 cameras. Ghost3

I feel a lot more power in the suit compared to a blade. Especially in terms of inflation on the belly and back, the blade had a tendency to flap a bit on the armwing (and grippers on the back, if you let go). The Ghost3 can be flown without use of the grippers quite comfortable on belly and back. I only have 3 jumps on the Ghost3, and about 400 on a Blade...I liked the Blade a lot, but so far am severly impressed with the step up in performance this suit gives when compared. Do have to note I am also a rep for PF, and though fully honest, my words are probably worth less than Piisfish's who is a normal paying costumer. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  10. Im planning to arrive the 10th as well...Aerobatic shizzle! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  11. If there was an issue...yea... But like Luke also sais..try it and see for yourself.. Its a difference in body position/flying style mostly.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  12. There is no problem.....Im talking about +- 30 jumps with Alejandro and I flying from 4500ft to 3000ft at seperation. Both flying all out, only a few degrees offset to eachother. We end up same altitude, same distance every single jump. If there is a difference between the 2 suits, its quite minimal to almost not present. The body position used for flying is the only noticable difference. The description on the website is still related to the acro, and due for a big update. The wings are identical to the phantom if you look at the cross-section. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  13. The Shadow flies on both belly and back, but has an identical wing profile to every other suit. Performance wise, both suits are so close in performance there is hardly a difference noticable aside from body-position used. At least in the flying Alejandro and I do together in Shadow/Phantom, the performance quite matches (seeing as skillwise and in terms of build, both of us are similar) Coming of a classic (no grippers) the shadow probably would be closer to what he's used to than a Phantom.. We need to hear those chickens more often Only point of critique...clean your lens! There seemed to be a purple thing in front of it the whole time.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  24. With the wings still on the VVA-14, it looks quite normal for an Ekranoplane... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  25. Than post some of their actual cool flying devices, and not a 3D render based on some concepts that where never made/flown... The K7 is the closest that actually flew (related to similar designs). But yea..many weird flying contraptions did fly (or where in development) especially the whole 'flying body' program (also from the US) is quite cool. Though almost all programs share the fact that 'landing' was the only thing they didnt really do all that well.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
