Than why bother to comment here? You seem to know it all.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

There are quite a few dirty cheap analogue to digital cables, that take a composite signal, and run it into your computer via USB. Just look up one of those..cheapest option.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Cool..when will the tandemmaster, AFF, etc etc manuals become online on the relative manufacturer/training/coaching websites? And even than, you can read 20 manuals, and still suck at the practical execution. Fun to see the same couch-critics pop up with nothing to ad. If you want to focus your energy one something, take a look at the fetal accidents that happened due to lack of proper instruction (and unwillingness of said coach to be trained by several noteworthy people in our sport/dicipline). In all of those cases you guys play mute, and cowardly refrain from comments. Shows its more about an axe you're grinding that true intrest in proper instruction or safety. So by all means..continue bitching here with useless comments. Its all quite empty, as your reactions to actual important safety matters show... Yup...in some countries there even is no organisation or rules for wingsuit, and you could start offering first jump courses to noobs. And ethics would be the only thing holding one back from doing so. Still wouldnt make any of the aforementioned training institutes like skydiveratings.com throw their entire silibus online for everyone to use.. Pathetic? Instead of proper instruction you advocate having everyone just go out and do what they 'read on the internet'. Now there is some sane advice... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Wow..passed the normal critique, onto critisizing writing style and use of words now? Bad weather in the old folks home? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Than try reading next time, instead of doing those same old pitty attacks. And immidiately following each statement with judgement on things being shit, useless, etc. The same answer DSE mailed you, was already posted several times before (in this thread). Why 2 days: Class sessions (learning to do the actual briefing), repeating and showing those a lot of times. And than also actual examination jumps.. There's been plenty of times when other 'ratings' had people with 20 wingsuit jumps signed off, or other factual statements got posted. But for none of those you reply. Its funny you fling one accusation over another into virtual space, yet do pretty much the same thing yourself. I (nor anyone else) dont bash the course you give. Just saying (noting) that in the recent streak of accidents 'self taught' coaches/instructors (whatever sticker you may want to put on that one) and poor judgement have shown to be at the root of the problem. Yet you never mention or critisize the people who openly show that kind of conduct. But only resort to the same old copy/paste arguements everytime things related to the PFC stuff comes up. That aside..its a shame threads for other systems (linked to the moderator itself) usually get cleaned up pretty quick, yet here there seems to be no personal interest t do the same.. Back on topic.... DSE is organising a PFC course, if you're interested in attending and have questions. Shoot him an email. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Ive been jumping gloves with heating for a year or so when it gets really cold. The company that makes em also has vests, pants, etc That aside, our seating arrangements in the plane (close to the cockpit, away from the door) always also help a lot in being less chilly than those freeflyers or fs teams sitting near the door JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

You're not taken seriously, as you are not willing to discuss the real subject at hand. You choose to look away and ignore the important matters that lay at the basis of this whole discussion. Only trolling, and skimming the edges around a subject you dont dare to REALLY publicly critisize. Where is your critique on other ratings/trainingmethods that have no substance, and have led to A LOT of unsafe practice and accidents? Focus your energy there, and show you have an ACTUAL interest in this whole subject. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Ipod touch: Replacement for Itunes?
mccordia replied to PalleNygren's topic in Photography and Video
I think most (if not all) software required to sync without Itunes, builds on the drivers for communicating that are installed with Itunes. It doesnt load the actual program, but does always seem to need it as a backbone to communicate. Not sure there are options without it.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -
Its even more clear 'some people' would rather look away, and not ask the much more important questions on the same subject. Questionss related to more serious matters in terms of urgency and concequences (past and future). Shame this subject is always only critisized and discussed under a fake viel of safety and interest, with seemingly no actual intentions to discuss the real matters at hand.. Though not aimed at me, Ill reply anyways with the same question back at you. Being a firm advocate of the same 'I dont need no standardized program/training/proof of dicactic skill ot teach someone' and than having a new flyer get hurt due to incomplete actions on your behalf....Will you acknowlegde what happened and learn. Or will you laugh and continue as is...leaving other people to deal with your mess... Good to see you discuss the matter at hand. Be it aiming it at the wrong person out of fear of 'getting personal'. I guess DSE is not a person..? JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Seeing as its the Nth time you express zero interest, yet seem to be the person screaming loudest on the subject (yet dead-silent when it comes to commenting on a fatality that happens on the watch of an 'instructor' with his own made up rating/system.) Class sessions (learning to do the actual briefing), repeating and showing those a lot of times. And than also actual examination jumps. No..far from that. Its amazing how much stuff you manage to get wrong in one line. But seeing as neither applies to you, not worth the time to explain either. People who need to know, know. And all seem pretty happy about it. Because there are a lot spineless people who scream very loud when people work on safety, yet completely shut up and look away when bad shit happens. Its only about advocating that a coach can actualy brief and guide someone through a first flight. And not forget half the info, due to him/her having his own style briefing of which he or she thinks its 'okay'. When at Zhills..talk to Bram from Skydiveratings about his FFC and jump after that. Got put into the biggest suit on the market, went into a high speed spin, and finaly saved his ass 'inventing' an emergency procedure (deploying) due to nothing else working. And emergency procedure of someone (who had knowledge and training on what he or she should have been briefing) should have told him in the first place. Piss-poor coaching/instruction. Regardless of the tag you put on it. Accidents are happening. And a lot (A LOT!) of shit happens that people dont speak up about. And its about time that stuff isnt allowed to happen anymore. You only bitch about the things you see happening on the sunny side of town. Look into the dark alleys for a change...you'd understand the reasoning a lot more.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

Repeating what scott said, please go to BaseRigs.com and register there as well. To make sure we have enough Lift capacity, Load Organisers, T-shirts, Food etc arranged, we need to have a proper headcount of people who are definately coming (and not 'maybe/thinking about it'). Kathy mentions your CC wont be charged untill Januari, but its needed to get a real headcount, and not just one of good intentions. Looking forward to seeing all of you there! Just had some Belgians mention heading to France as they seem to think 150 jumps is enough...and teach the ones we tell to jump more.. Regardless, the Belgian federation dictates 200 jumps. Shame some instructors are letting students duck the minimum rules. For students from 'your own country' its one thing. But the already low 200 limit isnt that hard to obey.... Article on landing wingsuit w/o parachute

The V2 got upgraded to different style ram-air inlets for the armwings, that other manufacturers now also have. Id say pressurization in all wingsuit models coming out the last year or so has been more than rock solid.. How far you could extend wings outward, I dont know....but how about stopping the theory, and making the suit you propose JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -

And similar to what Matt says...definately hope you manage. Sounds like an impressive sight to see. It even put some of my 3D animated stuff on TV (they used one of my 3D models to illustrate the setup) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -

And a cleanup lady on the side for those who just dont make it... Putting it on top of a cliff would mean you have 'outs' in case the approach is a few meters off.. Though definately a cool project, its miles away from what most envisioned through all the talking in the media about 'landing a wingsuit', which is why the idea receives so much skeptisism.. I dont know how many recent wingsuit designs you've flown, but in the whole range from Tony or PF, the wings are rigid like concrete...fabric flappers is not really a term of this day and age when it comes to naming modern-day wingsuit design.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete? -

New great news from Yves "Jetman" Rossy - Aerobatics
