    Heyhey y'all! FlyLikeBrick.com teammembers Alejandro, Costyn and I are proud to announce that we will be organising the wingsuit competition again this coming year! Initial details are now online at Wingsuit Competition.com CHECK IT OUT! We have choosen Italy this time (people seemed interested in a warmer location after last years experience) Phoenix-Fly will be the main event sponsor, and will be helping us out in terms of the event promotion and organisation. Depending on the number of teams, we may also start a seperate rookie-class for the lesser experienced teams.     Hans Schoeber (aka Gadget), David Haygarth and I all fly a gath with ret. visor regularly, and like it a lot. The wind is out of your eyes, no probs with goggles or anything fogging up due to cold/sweat, and the helmets are thin, so you can hear a bit of woohoo in freefall when somebody screams..:) And it looks cool in a gay '70s sci-fi' kinda way :) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    Ive heard (and experienced) more than one person having minor issues pulling a freefly pud (which has a little tab that 'locks' it in place) after a long flight where arm-fattigue had set in. Its great to keep a PC in place when backflying or in messy exits, with people slipping and sliding over eachother..but depending on how tight it is, make sure you have the arm-strength left to pull JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    I know..Im a big fan of PF and the gear they make....so much I broke ties with old 'friends' and am now pushing a brand (PF) I really believe in....but enough on that one.. The V3 is an amazing suit. And I wish people could see more of the stuff Robi and the guys have been doing with it off the mountains...its mindblowing.... More and more V3s should be arriving at their resp. new owners around these days...so it cant be long untill pix and video start popping up everywhere.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    On the PhoenixFly website and YouTube channel you can now get a short, but sweet taste of whats to come for spring 2009. The new PhoenixFly DVD: FlyTheLine 2 Ive been lucky enough to see the whole DVD already, and work on some minor aspects of the film. And I can honestly say its one of the most amazing things Ive seen in basejumping and wingsuit flying in general. Even if basejumping totaly isnt your thing, I know for sure no nylon-lovin' wingsuit flyer should be able to watch this without having his heart skip a beat in exitement. There is a short trailer and some information on the DVD release at www.phoenix-fly.com. And unlike typical Hollywood trailers, this one only shows you a fraction of the stuff thats actually in the full feature.
