  1. Tony/Phil have not replied yet with regards to their teams' camera flyer. Would reaaally like having that info tony, and if you dont have a camera flyer yet, scotty would be an awesome addition to your team :) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  2. Everyone who came to fly at UKS, a big thank you from both Macca and me! I had a great time! Did my first UK wingsuit jumps, and had a ton of fun doing load organizing and 1 on 1 coaching! The high speed exits where rockin' hard (as always!) and some high winds and backwards landings aside, the weather also cooperated quite nicely in a very un-UK-ish way! You guys will definitaly be seeing more of us there! Also had great fun with the intentional cutaway/skyhook demo Macca and I got to do for UPT Vector and PD. Really cool to see and do Ill post some video bits soon! All the best! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  3. Phoenix-Fly and the DZ (terni) are the ones hosting and arranging the competition in terms of details. A pdf with more specific rules wil be available before the competition. In terms of formations/points, they should be flown as presented/written above. Missed/skipped/changed points/positions/docks wont count, and make a whole sequence invalid untill the correct dock/position is shown. Pretty much the same as fs/ff rules in competitions. 4. There wil also be a C206 turbine (soloy) most likely. Its a 4 day event that wil focus on small fun/coach/skills/photo/video jumps. Fun, beautifull scenery and beach jumps. Altitude is 9000 ft for the c172/182, 12k for the c206t. We'll also try for an island bigway record. First persons to do a 2 way wil have that one for ever to brag about ;) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  5. Sorry...forgot that linetwist are uncommon on reserves, and are not an issue tonysuit jumpers have to deal with. The video of the guy needinghis cutaway to free the arms pinned down by the risers is probably also one to not worry about...As are the other scenarios one could think of. The fact that several jumpers have problems with it is of no concern I guess. Saving a few bucks on production-cost is always easier than offering a cutaway as an option JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  6. Talking shop over sanity? 4 out of 5 tonysuit flyers I met at boogies the past months complained about the system not working. One couldnt reach up due to a fast spinning canopy, which didnt enable him to slightly lift the legs, which seemed needed to be able to reach up. Most couldnt get the sleeve to really move over the arms when trying to reach up. One due to thick clothing, others just regardless of what they were wearing. One was so scared he modified the suit to have a cutaway. Whatever the reason, be it sizing or errors in measuring. It seemed like a question worth asking, as people ARE having issues with it. Look several post up. Same story. It was an inquiry/question. Shame to see you cant take it as anything other than a personal attack...it seems like a subject worth looking into a bit further... 7. So.....thats indeed a very valid reason not to take a critical look at the gear you manufacture and sell. This silly safety thing ey...blech.. Indeed dont educate people on the use and potential problems that should be adressed/payd attention to. Guess Im just bitching.... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  8. May I recommend putting some clear documention online on your website on the sleeve system and the situations in which it does and doesnt function. Would suck to read on the incidents forum that someone got into trouble after opening/lowpull or worse because they didnt wear the proper shirt or clothing which your system was measured or designed for. Safety first...its not stuff people should find out after ordering/flying their suit, but should be stated clearly beforehand. Several flyers are having issues with this (hence my comments/questions). JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  9. when you say new, do you mean new as in 'recent change'? As Ive met several jumpers who have negative experiences with the sleeve system, up to the point of hem installing a working/functional cutaway on the wingsuit themself. Especialy in colder weather enviroments, an additional layer if clothing seems to prevent the system from functioning as advertised. With the sleeve not sliding due to clothing bunching up. Not a single case, but multiple people who complained about it. Imho a serious safety issue which should be adressed. If its a redesign/improvement, then a warning/modification should be offered on older sold systems to warent safety. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  10. Never been on the floaters bar? On both stealth and stealth2 (available soon) I have no issues reaching the floaters bar/camera step. I can already reach risers on opening (be it halfway up) and love having a cutaway on top of the zippers on the sleeve in case of emergency. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  11. Backfly inlets do offer some resistance due to added drag on, though that difference is closer to 1% than 30 on any wingsuit model/make or brand. And as to the size competition thing...everyone knows Im shaped like a ken/barbie doll, lacking genetals in general JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  12. Hahaha....3GS here as well... But do keep trying.... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  13. No wrong side of the bed here mr grumpy, just stating and showing it Is possible to praise your product striaght into heaven without doing the whole sad comparison thing.. You dont see me saying buy a phantom as its 10x the suit a Tbird is. Just say 'buy my suit' and state its features and stats... You're funny acting all hurt. Even though all I did was the exact thing you stated on the Phantom... Objective comparisons are hard, if not impossible....so dont use em as marketing examples unless you want to hear the same things stated about your own stuffz laterzzz JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  14. PF currently has 3 to 4 week delivery times on all models besides the V3. Inflationwise all tonysuits recently made seem to share the same inletdesign Robert pioneered with the V3 and Phantom2z....again...unmatched my ass hehe... Putting down the keyboard and handing the thread back over to the Tony marketing dept Boogietime! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  15. Sad news.... No king air! Good news... Antonov28 tailgate mothafokkaz!!! High speed exits! That shizzle is honna rock! Picking up Macca from the boat now....See all of you there! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  16. Nice picture btw. A Tbird doing draggy floating, but lacking the forward drive to catch up Exactly my impression of the suit. Killing it, bang, blamf, kazoom and stuff!! Weeeeeeee...... See how much this sucks? Its possible to advertise a product without doing the hyped/empty non-objective comparison quotes naming of competitors models... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  17. At z flock 6 people who demo-ed the T bird ended up buying phantoms on the spot due to the bigger forward speed they experienced on that one. Less fabric more speed and lift was one heard phrase I also remember a certain backflying 5 way turned 4 way due to a mr J. Shorb going low trying to backfly his Tbird Killing the Phantom my ass hahaha JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  18. We wil have several in your size this weekend Johan. So I guess there is no escaping that demo flight, and reporting back here on monday to let him know your thoughts JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  19. Definately look into getting a phantom2. Performancewise its all you'll ever need, and more. Front/Backfly inlets, quick rigging and production/fit from al Phoenix-Fly suits just rocks... JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

  22. Though the Prodigy def. isnt the same suit as the Phantom performance-wise, (Id rate it at 60 to 70% of what a Phantom is able to do) I know several jumpers who fly the suit fulltime, and are able to give many flyers in big tarps a serious run for their money when it comes to actually flying. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  23. The Phantom is definately an awesome suit, and for most people wil be all they ever need. In terms of speed and distance, its capable of a lot. And with the zipper system, quick to rig. And if you should ever concider BASEjumping, its also the suit most people start on due to its high performance, small size, and accesable pilotchute for an easy pull. I dont know if you're going to be at the UKS boogie next weekend, but if you do, drop by the PF stand with Macca and Me, and we'll gladly let you try one on, and fly one (provided you meet the proper experience levels, both in terms of safety/sanity, as well as general for UK/BPA accepted wingsuit flying requirements) JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
  24. The weather in the EU is rocking right now! Macca and I wil be at Cerfontaine (Belgium) this coming friday/saterday/sunday (Alejandro wil be there thursday/friday) and then its of to the UK! UKS is gonna rock! We'll get you into some nice flying Gecko, and get you some nice shots for your video collection! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
