I got one in Aruba a few years ago. I was feeling shitty and went to my room to lay down Sunday afternoon. My buddy I was travelling with started calling me Monday morning to meet up for our flight back to Venezuela but I didn't have the energy to pick up the phone. He got a key to my room from the front desk and found me laying in bed with the AC CRANKED and I was hot as shit and delerious. I spent an extra week in the hospital in Aruba...I'm damb glad it happened there, I have 0 faith in the Venezuelan medical system and I'm not sure how it would've turned out had I gotten sick there. I've flown Lima-Bogota with them a few times. Nothing special but not bad either. I'm not sure if domestic flights are much different. When you're in Lima, you might wanna jump up to Collique. It's about 15 minutes north of Lima and they've got a little twin-engine Cenica that takes 5 jumpers. AAD's are mandatory there so if your rig doesn't have one you can't jump it, but they hooked me up with a rig for the day. I'm sitting in the jungle in Iquitos Peru right now waiting for the rest of my tools to arrive so I can finish my work and get up to Mexico. I got nuthin

My boss told me today that I gotta take some days off or I'm going to lose them. I'm thinking of popping up to the US, renting a car in south TX, buying a tent and booking it to Eloy. I've stayed in a tent there in December and it was cold as shite. I know the summers there aren't too jumpable for the better part of the day due to extreme heat. What about right now? Is it too hot? Is it super-cold in the nights? Lots of dust-devils? Lots of loads all day? If Eloy's not prime right now where should I be going? I want to pass at least a week. I could hit a hotel but I'd prefer to tent it on the DZ so there's no complications getting home after some beer-light activities. Basically looking for good belly skydives and good times after the planes get parked for the night. Where should I go? Does Perris crank all week? How's the weather there this time of year? For my nieces I've always just tossed some $$$ towards their college fund. I figure they're not gonna remember some toy they had when they were two or three and they've already got enough damn toys! This year Elena's turning 4 so I think I'll actually get her something, but it's just $$$ for the toddler. It's not fun for them and I don't know if it'd be appropriate for somebody you're meeting for the first time, but college is expensive and these girls have my genes which is already a pretty good sign that they ain't getting no scholarships, they're gonna need a big-ole college fund I got nuthin -
