    Let's see...my 2009 goals: 1) pay off my credit card 2) get a Body Bugg (thingy you wear on your arm that tells you how many calories that you burn) 3) lower by body fat % to 18% 4) buy a new motorcycle I have other goals as well, but I'm going to work on these first.

    Jump 38 - 1st pack job on my new canopy Jump 53 - trash pack I've had some lineovers that cleared, and some slammers that I thought broke some lines, but they all stayed intact somehow. So none since 53 *knocks on wood* My boyfriend has 8 (out of over 1200 jumps), including one on his first jump on tandem gear. http://3ringnecklace.com/

    Annoys: People who don't know how to use the Shift key and don't know how to type complete sentences!!! People who talk out loud, LOUDLY. People who constantly cough and/or clear their throat but they don't have a cold- they just do it ALL the time. People who talk/text on their cell phone/PDA/whatever at inappropriate times, even when they are told not to. Whuffos. Joys: Spending time with my family and my kitty. Blue skies.     I used to order rings for my necklaces through a company in Canada. They shipped about 200 metal rings in a PLASTIC BAG. Yeah- it broke and I got the rings about a month or so later than I should have. I should have known that I should never order from them again, but the next time I ordered from them, the package was lost all together. I contacted the company and it took them a long time to send and ship the rings. When I got them, they shorted me on my order. They never answered my calls or emails. To this day my order has not been righted. I order my rings from a different company now and I haven't had any problems at all. ARGH!!!! http://3ringnecklace.com/

    Yeah if there are 2 fun jumpers on the load, then MAYBE you get to 14K on your own pass. But if you're the ONLY jumper, then forget it. I've had this happen to me a lot, so don't say it doesn't happen b/c I know first hand that it does! http://3ringnecklace.com/

    I jumped here for the summer of 2008, and it was a struggle for me to keep going. Every weekend I went, people are bullied and ridiculed if they have less than 5000 jumps. I have since stopped going there and I don't regret that decision at all. Most of the people there are cool, but many staff members are egotistical skygods who soak you for every penny you got. A reserve repack takes 2 weeks. It's a total tandem factory and many instructors treat their students very poorly. There is a particular instructor who can't keep his hands to himself and makes uninvited advances to all of the women there. Students have complained but of course nothing changes. If you make a mistake, it's a chance for the skygods to let you know who's boss, rather than helping you learn more about the sport and help you become a better skydiver. I'm not alone in feeling this way; many people, even other staff members feel this way, yet nothing is done. I would not recommend going to this place.

    Umm adding my $.02 here from experience at San Marcos... ...sometimes, and many times more often than not, if you are the only fun jumper on a load, you have to go out at 10.5K in front of the tandems, but you still have to pay full price.     1)Have you ever stayed with a guy after he cheated more than once? Never had a guy cheat on me. 2)Stayed with him even thought he never remembers any b/day,v/day etc.. Haven't had this problem. 3)He doesnt call for days, but when he does gives big excuse and gets laid anyway Again I haven't had this problem 4) humiliates you in public Now this has been a problem at dropzones, but not public.     My boyfriend's mother - bless her heart - doesn't always understand the orientation of WHO is wearing the camera helmet when we show her skydiving videos. For instance, if the video is of ME in freefall, then HE is wearing the camera. She thinks whoever she is looking at on the screen is wearing the camera. She doesn't understand why you can't see the person who is wearing the camera on the screen. You would think that cameras work the same in freefall as they do on the ground.     Skydive35

    airathanas reviewed Skydive35's dropzone in Texas

    I visited Skydive 35W for the *first* time last weekend and I had a blast! I have been to my fair share of DZs over the years, and Skydive 35W is one of the best. Everyone was very friendly, especially the staff. Jeff is a real nice guy and very helpful. It's got everything you are looking for in a DZ: clean showers, nice bunk house, covered carpeted packing area, kitchen, bonfire, really nice classroom with projector and white board, rigging services, easy to find landing area, pea pit, etc... The best part: the Grand Caravan! 14K and a wide door- I love it! If you looking for great skydiving, whether you are a licensed skydiver or looking for your first jump, check out Skydive 35W!
