I saw a few guys flying them in europe this year and they seemed nice. That being said, I dont know how good the guys were, but I was outtracking them in a first gen phoenix fly suit. A couple of very experienced trackers had a tough time controlling the suit at first, but I think thats true of any of the new larger track suits. I just got a new PF and like it a lot, but there a lot of similarities between the suits, and some features like stiff inlets that i really like the the tube.

The real question is what if they had a ffc but it was by someone you don't like or isn't on the right website? I'd just cut the wings off their suit. Does anyone talk about ways to maximize performance and maneuvers anymore on this site?

I think ive pulled not in full flight a handful of times in probably more than 500 combined skydive and base jumps

Fair enough, I'm always just bummed when I see good flying and people get too caught up in the numbers, but I suppose that is the point when people also post the numbers. The base jumping question was just that, a question, nothing to do with coolness, ability, or anything like that, i was just wondering where Jarnos frame of reference was from. I love you all. Perhaps jeb can get way more speed and glide out of that suit as mine is a demo, and I am at best a margilnal wing suit pilot. I love you all regardless of the number of parachutes on your back

Its amazing what people think they are getting and what the real numbers turn out to be. I always thought I was getting around 2.5 in my V3, but now im doing around 2.6-2.8 cruis in an apache and absolutely destroying what I was doing in a V3, so who knows.

Ive actually found the suit to be super stable and easy to fly with no issues pulling. How do you get the hackey swallowed? Setup is super slick for base and keep in mind the majority of low profile base containers dont have three rings or cutaways. As I said, theres no point to it in skydiving unless you want to prepare to base it. I think I put around 20 skydives and 4 other base jumps on the suit before the flight in the video. performance is unreal

Probably overkill for skydiving. Getting about a 2.8 glide ratio on average with pretty awesome forward speed. Definitely a cool suit. http://vimeo.com/23126609

The saddest thing is that we can argue all day about which is biggest, best, fastest, floatiest, and 90% of people are only going to max them out for the last 20 seconds of a jump after breakoff from a flock.... sigh

The biggest and most sited non-uspa dropzone is pretty darn strict about the 200 rule as well. Also, you have to get a briefing and a signed off by an experienced pilot that your dumb ass isnt going to land off and ruin wingsuiting for everyone. What if he did his first WS jump when it wasnt actually a BSR, is he grandfathered in? I did my first with slightly less than the recommended, but Im a super hardcore badass, but that was then there wasnt a rule. What is I had 40 wingsuit jumps when it was fine, but only a total of 190 jumps?

I do appreciate the effort being made thats true, and the any publicity is good publicity thing is sort of valid, but the public is used to seeing some pretty bad ass stuff on youtube from Jokke, Loic, ect. What are the competitions planned on being? I know quite a few of those guys, and while they are really nice people, theres only a couple of base jumpers, and I can only think of about one shows worth of stuff they could really do that would be interesting out of an airplane (to the general public that is) Theres a ton of ways this could have been done, and exercising my american freedom to openly criticize anyone I wish without providing any alternative or bettering it myself, I still stand by my previous statement, Worst anything ever.

Hmm mine is about 22 seconds in the v3 but slightly lower (still can see the tree in peripheral). Would you say that the speed is about the same on the 4, just floatier?

Similar flight line to tony suits wingsuits I have seen jumping that exit. Should be an interesting new year of suits. I could never quite get over that last tree in my V3.
