F/A-18 What does that mean for us non-aviationophiles? -
Got? Yes. Used? Not yet and hopefully won't have to.
-
Ditto. Get well carrot....very cute.

Are you a hot chick? If so, I am sure we can settle this matter by means of experimentation. Does my avatar look like I'm a hot chick? I'll smite you if you blaspheme, boy!

Precision Aerodynamics, Ravens in particular is the only company that I know of that has bridle attachments on their reserves.

Google actually worked post mortem. Thanks for the response, even though the presentation was last Thursday.
-
Congratulations for making a short subject thread...the first didn't count.

The EGR temp sensor for my Volvo is broken...but the emissions system works fine. My registration is due in a a couple of weeks and I need a Smog check. Soooo...the shop turned of the "codes" so the Check Engine light would be off....temporarily. Got it smogged, passed, and will send it in.

What is the Approx lb test for canopy lines? As I mentioned in another thread, I've giving a lunch presentation at work on my "hobby" and want to know what I'm talking about at least a little bit. Is this lb test for EACH line (e.g. 500/700/whatever lbs)? What is it for S-Links? I've heard they're actually stronger than the metal links.

Don't know if it is still the case (don't see why not), but when I did my first tandem at Davis 4 years ago, you got the option to try to pull for the TM by I think 5.5K (you get an alti of course). You do practice touches in freefall and stuff. I felt cool that I was able to pull for us.

How many college skydiving clubs across the country DO exist? I thinking only a dozen or so.

Thanks, Jamie! -
A former coworker said that he heard of a woman who completed a marathon at 8 months. Sounds like many of the women are saying...consider the factors.
-
(stupid man speculating) Maybe because horses are rough and bouncy and bike riding puts the abdomen in a bad position?
-
Damn it, I was about to mention....you.
-
Grazie. I'm assuming this factor is also why mph knts?
-
Thanks - you're so awesomely prompt. I felt like bumping the thread and mentioning that she was jumping Eric's container, but the thread was too old to be funny.

For short ones, go to www.skydivingmovies.com. For longer ones, add in Terminal Velocity, Fandango, Cutaway and maybe some Bond films.
