Best single-engined jump plane?
Elisha replied to riggerrob's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Can you say "sardines?" Thank God we had a DZO that sent it with 14 max unless we asked for a 15th. We fit 16 in at Byron (they have been leasing the W/B PAC from Ray, who was flying mostly) the past couple of weeks and we SHOULD have put Angie in the empty co-pilot seat instead of bumping her off the load. 18 of me (I'm smallish) would probably fit - especially using the co-pilot seat. -
Thanks Phree...and especially for not being a dilhole like some of the others.

What? Couldn't you buy a 206 (or even a turbo 206) for half?

I thought a Grand Caravan held 18 while a Super Otter 23? I think I've only been in a regular Caravan and regular Twin Otter though. -
I know it lives at Perris, CA and is a DC-9. Are there pics of the inside somewhere? Exit ramp? Cruising speed, Horsepower? Climbrate? Jumprun speed? Any other interesting info? Someone want to post video of their exit from one of the Rantoul jumps to skydivingmovies.com?

AFAIK, Super Otter's and King Air's have two engines and thus DQ'd from this topic. -

And there is a good deal of you in it, so you better buy it! Everyone, I have a pre-mass produced copy and I think it is a great product - so BUY IT!! Additionally, if you want to see some on the ground footage, make sure you KEEPT IT PG-13 (or maybe even PG) FOR MOST OF YOUR CAMERA GEEKING!!

Now, had you said they brought back awful memories, I think you might have hurt our feelings. But since you spelled it that way... We shall just assume that you were filled with awe. And rightly so! Why else would you have clicked on the link to view us in our glory all over again. Btw, no, I've never seen your self respect.

...and it will probably stay that hot until October. At least you're not far from the Ground Launching Center if you want to learn how to do that.

Your cutaway pillow rocks.

I've heard rumor (and seen evidence) that indicates otherwise. Give 'em up. You are correct... and here they are.... http://www.shutterfly.com/pro/skycam/Favorites/SPEEDODAY2006 Muwahahhahaaaaaa aaa aaa!!! Bad girl! You must be punished. The thumbnails alone brought back aweful memories.

What the heck is SCR? -
THAT....is hella cool. Would it ever be approved for jumping AT Perris? Or is that chance between slim and none? Perris is geographically more favorable to me than Illinois.

No you don't...you might get scared. They were disturbing. Tracking: MadJohn would have details, but I was 3rd of 8 in the
