Way to go Jay! And LISTEN to Feeblemind! Btw, it was mentioned on the blog that he ruptured/sprained/pulled/something bad to his quad around jump 200 but continued anyway. Crazy. Amazing is all I can say. -
Bump....back to pg 1.

Any other skydiving EMT's/Paramedics?
Elisha replied to everymansaved's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I think Viking who posts here is an EMT, but I'm not positive. -
Brand New PAC 750 Skydiving Turbine at Skydive Sussex!
Elisha replied to Skyvanfan's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Haha. It's not that bad...but very good! -
It implies nothing of the sort. Those that were mutilated, distintigrated, etc. God will deal with. Of course God can raise his people from the very stones if He wills (as is written somewhere) - but why try to test Him when he gave you a body to be resurrected later?

FYI 16 jumpers is w/ co-pilot seat removed and cramming people about as good as you can. You will only get 13,5K in 10 min w/ 10-12 persons - not happening w/16. All else though, certainly a good jump plane. Enjoy. Disclaimer: I may not actually know what I'm talking about. -
Buried...otherwise it is a denial of the Resurrection.

...add undermanaged for me too.

The backup drug test for sprinter Marion Jones came back negative, clearing the five-time Olympic medalist of doping allegations that have dogged her for the past month, her attorneys said Wednesday night. http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/trackandfield/news/story?id=2576909 Discuss if you must.

Slacklining - another fun way to hurt yourself on the dz
Elisha replied to skybytch's topic in The Bonfire
That evil thing hit me in a gnad....hurt for a few minutes. -
Mods, want to make this thread a sticky? Got lots of general useful information. Thanks.

0:4:0 2 RW jumps with an Anvil fresher A-licenser (a healthy 130 fall rate - I had to have a nice arch), 1 tracking jump with Anvil and a memorial tracking jump with >20 of us on the two PACs led by Aussie Brad.

Why do people read stuff when they go and sit on the toilet?
Elisha replied to Newbie's topic in The Bonfire
how about talking on a cell phone? That is the worst thing ever. Annoying for others using the restroom and just inconsiderate for the listener. -

Is this show posted on the internet anywhere? I don't have cable. Thanks. -

Ummm, hello?!?! You just told me you only LIKE to work.
-
Yeah, because in Lodi it just happens to be industrial haze or whatever...

Hey, buddy, it is MY canopy - the lineset is not THAT bad (but certainly not new).
-
No. I wasn't told when I bought - just told by others that it seemed like a thousand-ish. I've put 90 on it. e-mail Bonnie like I mentioned if you are interested, as she has it and is reputable dealer in the industry.

First Cut-away, what I learned from what I have learned
Elisha replied to Feeblemind's topic in Safety and Training
Thank you for doing what you needed to live...to jump again and live. I'm sure your family is thankful too. Good job. -
My 3rd Tandem / First Solo (Coached)
Elisha replied to Tito.J's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
1) relax 2) follow directions 3) you won't be going anywhere near 60 mph on the student equipment if the canopy is fully inflated and the canopy is flying straight. -
Sabre1-150, Mfg 3/91 (yeah, it's old, but still flies fine), all light green with orange ribs and stabilizers, not sure the # of jumps on the lineset, but I've put 90 jumps on it. It is on mini-risers (reinforced - the red strip) with front riser dive loops and S-links. Has plenty of life left. If you e-mail Bonnie at sales@gravitygear.com, she can give you more pictures as some were taken this weekend. She has the canopy at the moment. It's a fine first canopy. I was looking for a Sabre2-135 and then a Sabre1-120 fell into my lap that only had 500ish jumps for $250. although I should have it relined sooner than later. The 150's lines are in better condition, but I'm sure a rigger can make be a better judge.

I saw a tandem student show up in a spaghetti strap dress and some flat, but fancy sandal like shoes. Her jump went fine though.
