  1. Hi Mr. Cat, I like skydiving with humans too. Cats would be....well, difficult.
  2. This female TM who weighs about 120 took some tiny petite girl who was closer to 100. I'm sure they could have used that FX-285. I was teasing her for loading whatever she was jumping at like 0.6 or something. She said that she probably should have used her regular main for the jump.
  3. BelskyBlueEyes, That is great that you had a good experience. But here is a question: what if 2 out of 10 customers had a bad experience/bad service and you were just one of the 8? Wouldn't you agree that 20% is pretty bad for a poor customer service level? What if Skyride customers typically had 2 out of 10 bad experiences while non-Skyride had about 2 out of 100? I'm just trying to give an example of just because someone has a GOOD experience, doesn't mean that there is no service problem. A business should be doing there darned best to make sure they provide the best service possible and not mislead or poorly treat ANYONE. They should be dilligent about this to protect their reputation in an HONEST fashion and not just a CYA or "damage control" fashion. As BillyVance said, read through this thread.
  4. What plane do you ride on in Davis? Obviously not the one I have been in. Then I concede...you're just as wicked as all those other guilty Byron people. I'm just perfectly.
  5. What about the bandsaw cutting the trees?!? It's my last one!!!
  6. And btw, I ain't afraid of no spicy chilli. Bring it on.
  7. Phil, Maybe you just haven't been to Byron enough, but farting on the plane (unfortunately) happen almost every load and frequently multiple times. You guys are a bit more civilized up at Davis.
  8. Awww, what a good daddy. If I make it, I'll say we missed you.

    Hot Dogs

    Again, they look like armadillos.
  10. She lives in Virginia. They don't have Vons out there. Vons is the SoCal arm of Slave...er...Safeway.
  11. What about that Death Valley one...Badwater is it? Like 120 miles at 120 degree heat or something.
  12. A Gabbiano Chianti would be ok. Nothing special, but not like the funny wicker basket brand. I'd personally choose a nice big Cabernet Sauvignon with a Porterhouse. Merlot is a bit weak - it would have to be a damn good Merlot. A Clos Du Bois Cab would probably be good (about $10-15).
  13. I got a Sabre-120 recently w/ ~500 jumps. It is Spectra and I think original lineset. From my attempt at measurements, it looks like a couple of inches out of trim. I've put around 15 jumps on it. I'm planning on having it relined at next (reserve) repack. So...what I can expect on an old vs new lineset? I was going to start my own thread for this until I saw this one.
  14. I got 9 and stopped. Interesting game though.
  15. 16...and loosely enforced (like in Europe). But if caught while driving (drunk, .05%, or something), then throw the book at them.
  16. Wow! I think 3 was the most I've seen when you put it that way...but I haven't actually been everywhere.
  17. Got video? On Skydivingmovies.com or elsewhere online that is....I'd like to watch it. Thanks. Or of that Crossfire 330 or Firebolt 298 as well. That sounds more HP than most tandem canopies.
  18. Wow. You're one of the other few. I use large on the locking stows and small on the rest (no doubling). Works for me.
  19. I thought that's what this website was for?
  20. Yeah, their website doesn't even mention it on the News/Events section. I was thinking of going....if Bonnie might just happen to be driving down that weekend and I could hitch a ride.
  21. Ms. bytch, What's the name of the dude on the left of starf013 w/ white T and b & y pants? I think the guy on the right is named Javier. I jumped out of the helicopter with them at the American boogie.
