Yes, this happened....a few years ago at some Mexican place in Tiburon, CA called Guaymas. Has anyone ever heard of this? We all ordered a round of Patron Silver shots and they gave us tomato juice in those Kamikaze larger shot glasses instead of lime wedge. I was thinking, WTF? This can't have originated at this restaurant. I thought someone told me once-upon-a-time that they heard of it happening in Oaxaca. I want to settle this mystery! I tried googling Patron Silver Tomato and it didn't really help.

Star Farms Boogie - Sept 16-17, California

Over the pond...that is CRUEL! -
Nah, they'd probably sleep with each other instead. At the winded out Friday of the Byron Boogie last year, after giving canopy control seminars, Vladi and Aubrey ran off to San Fran for a romantic lunch/dinner together but were back by late evening.

This place might do it: http://www.parachutecenter.com/

And that is a great question to ask....I will just say that I highly doubt that everyone here agrees with Jumpshack's philosophy regarding the Firebolt and WL. I'm kinda in the opposite case. I have 187 jumps and my WL probably makes a few people question it (1.25 to 1.3 depending on how fat I am that day), but my planform is...square.

Wow! That was probably one of the least sleasy and most objective statements I could have hoped to receive from any salesperson!
-
Yeah, they suck. Just kidding, they're fine by me. Although I think I prefer some of the PD counterpart canopies, I have absolutely no problem jumping Aerodyne products. You can drive your Camry and I'll drive my Accord or whatever.
-
You're pretty sassy. Nice remark.
-
I hope you were severely pied for that. I'm getting dangerously close to #200...coinciding with the Byron Boogie...where I got #100 last year and no one pied me. I'm disappointed in some of you people.
-
We're actually pretty similar in that...I won't say anymore. You know, don't want to insinuate anything.

I have a Hickory Farms gift basket from Grandma from...Christmas that I never ate. It's just sitting there on the kitchen counter (it's a rather small basket). The beef stick said it expired back in February. I think the processed cheese things say June. I'm sure the crackers, mustard, jelly and candy are still fine though. I guess I'll eat the non-expired things soon.
-
So, what's your story?
-
I'm sure you find SOME job that paid enough and with a reasonable enough rent....you could rent a room from someone for less than $700/month SOMEWHERE in NorCal (Bay Area harder, but still possible). You're just not trying hard enough.
-
wtf??????? See! See how easy it is to ADD yourself to the list? Silly boys. All sensitive and stuff.
-
I was going to say 73 hours, but really it's more like 48. Oh, to answer the question, it's been about 45 hours between last jump and this post.
-
grue, man.....just come to California...we can handle you in NorCal. There is Byron, Davis, Lodi, Hollister and Monterey all with turbines... I didn't even have any of this "73 days" nonesense last winter over here.

0:3:0 1 jump with a 70-yr old (guy named Mac...will be 70 in Feb). 1 speedstar with 2 vidiots trying to sit-foot dock.

Star Farms Boogie - Sept 16-17, California

And to just add some warm fuzzies by someone who won't, but would like to be there, Dave Hughes is a swell guy. -
that is an argus tho, not a cypres. the only competition to cypres2 are used cypres 2s. Would you want to be a beta tester? He IS a "beta tester". He is also sponsored by them and is willing to have them in his rigs. He isn't a nobody either, so he has at least some credibility (much more than myself at any rate).

huh? We're not talking about the dz.com guy "cqq" otherwise known as the USPA Pacific Regional Director Chris Quaintance are we?

Have exactly the same feeling. ...except that you have a lot shorter drive then Benji. At least I'm not AS disappointed now, but I still wish I could be two places at once next weekend! -

I wonder if anyone could give a rundown of the different rigs/mains that Jay jumped. I'm sure all 23 or 24 were not the same size Javelin and same size and make/model of main. I'm curious and want to know! -
I think that closeup looks kinda like an armadillo.
