    Man, yesterday had to be a dream becuase it was just too good. I love that place...and that's an understatement. I can't wait to learn from those awesome people. It was an honor to be invited on a 5 way (chick dive) and I had just met them that day. It's also a wonderful sign when you get a big hug from the dz owner. Well, once again Walt, THANK YOU! Oh, and it was pretty funny when we were all walking to the plane on our second jump and one of the kids said "hey, there's only one guy on this load." Indeed, Walt was the only dude on the plane!     There are so many things about my "work" that I love, and very few that I don't. I absolutely love homeschooling...and enjoy being a mother. I do not HATE the multitude of cleaning that comes with it....but it can be quite draining at times. Keeping up with the finances is another part of my job I'm not crazy about.     Hey, My head is still in the clouds from Saturday...so I didn't think to tell you I appreciate your congrats and your kind words about getting my 'A'. It's been an incredible journey, and I think it means more to me because of the rocky times I had in the beginning. It's been great meeting folks like you on here. Thanks a bunch

    Well, I'm still in the clouds from yesterday.....not that we went through any clouds or anything It was a fabulous day to say the least. I took the video to the dz today and Jeff got it all burned on a CD with some really cool music...and then he couldn't get it to play! Something about the discs being invalid. UUUGGHH! I still have your tape, and I'll try again next week. It was two of my greatest jumps and it would be great to share the footage...especially since now I can track without looking like Little Mermaid in the sky Man, you Rock Walt!     What a great feeling to complete my yellow card!...and I was blessed enough to have a good friend and awesome skydiver on both jumps with me today. He took video of the dives and I will absolutely cherish them forever

    ***Isin't it sweet finally getting off student status. Then on top of that 2 of my friends did their first jumps. One (kevin aka kevy aka happy) has definatly got the bug. The other im not sure about but its looking like he will go for it too. Then I have 3 sweet jumps. Land almost right on top of the cone i was shooting for the first time then only about 10 ft away the second time. Just one of those days that reassueres my love for this sport/hobbie/life. hmm....maby this should be in the "general skydiving discussions" fourm...oh well. responsibility is a heavy responsibility __________________________________________________ Yes Kev, It's awesome to finally be at this point...and I'm glad you were there to share it. It was great to see your friend's venture into the sport, and how excited they were. I LOVE that! Great on your landings too

    He used his incredible gift of teaching!....and helped me finish my 'A' license requirements! From packing to spotting, to finally docking and tracking, Walt has played a HUGE part in my skydiving career, and I've only just begun. Seems like he always had the right words and the perfect technique that made me just GET it! Gives new meaning to the phrase "a lightbulb just went off!" I'm glad he took video of our jumps today, because I will NEVER forget the day I got my 'A'. So yes, behind all those horrendous stories, there is a really, really awesome guy!
