    Hop n' pop from 4200. Of course we weren't going to get out that low when we took off I believe it was low clouds. Anyway, I exit and pull unstable. Line twists. By the time I cleared them, I found myself too far downwind and prepared to land off. No problem - nice big field free of obstacles. So I land to find about 20 cows lined up behind me. So I greet them, get my gear gathered up, and proceed towards the dz with every one of them in tow. I stopped, turned around and said "now unless I'm getting a ride back to the dz, you have to stay." I swear every one of them stopped! I labeled that the "cow jump" in my logbook. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    We did the same thing when my oldest son was about 18 months. I remember how hard it was on my husband as he drove the u-haul away. I wish you the best and will certainly be thinking of all of you. My family is moving again....next week. It is an exciting/stressful time. Congratulations and God Bless all of you!     ***go to some hardware store (lowes, ace, home depot) find a pole of some sort (preferably wooden). when you get the truck, cut it to fit above the rails one the walls of the truck. use a person on the each end of the pole, put hangars on pole, carry to truck, maneuver into place. Pack around to secure pole. done. __________________________________________________ That is hilarious!     No I'm not talking about my parachute! We are moving next week and I would like a packing idea for my hangup clothes. We've moved a few times, and I always group them together and wrap packing tape around the handles. Does anyone have a better idea that will make this more manageable?     Shoot, when I did my docking for the 'A', Walt and I went out and I even left a second after he did. I had no trouble at all docking on him. It was great! Of course, I was wearing weights.     In spite of the fact that my dad was an alcoholic jerk-wad....he did leave me a few good words to live by...and some pretty funny things to remember. I'll cling to them as long as I live. "Don't look at me in that tone of voice"

    Thanks orange1. I'm definately going to address the jumpsuit and weight belt issues. I didn't think about the boxman thing though. I like that. Maybe I should go out with someone without taking grips, and try to fly with them and adjust my fallrate. It sounds like fun.     I take Spirulina, St. John's Wort, Vitaming C, Omega 3 and coral calcium. All throughout the day of course. I'm much healthier since I started this routine. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    Yep - I was actually there that day watching Cannie jump. We had to head back to Houston but she stayed to watch them all swoop - and saw the whole thing! That was actually the day I met Brains.     Hi Dave, I'm asking for critiques of my three-way picture in the skydiving discussions forum. My body position is an issue, as well as my exit. If they had let go of me, we would not have stayed together. I really, really want to work on that. In spite of that, I'm having an absolute blast! See ya soon.     Well, I guess that settles it then. I'll look into getting a belt. Gotta keep the vest thought because Walt gave it to me...and the day I wore it was the day I successfully docked with him to get my 'A'. So it's a special vest. Hopefully since you moved out to Central Texas, you won't have to worry so much about water. Just stay away from the swoop pond at SSM I'll see ya soon out there.
