    It was so neat watching you come in for a landing on that no-wind day. I also loved our two-way where you spun us around the sky...and then our grand finale - a hop n' pop at sunset!     That is very interesting. I noticed that when I did my "first" three-way and didn't have weights, I felt very unstable. My instructor said it was because they fall a lot faster than I do. I felt like my legs were going over my head. I guess because they were pulling me down. I did a two-way with a friend yesterday and did wear my weights - and he could still feel me "floating".     Cool! Thanks a bunch! Yes, I need a different jupsuit. I got a really good deal on that one though....it was FREE! The guy gave it to me because I bled all over it after I hit my nose on the step! JK, he gave it to me because he wanted to.     When I asked Jenny, she mentioned arching harder. I float really bad and I wasn't wearing my weight vest on that jump. When they let go to do turns....I floated big time. I did a two-way with another friend that day, and he said he didn't let go of me because he could tell I was trying to float...and I did wear weights on that jump. I'm sure the more I do it the better I will get. BTW, it's good to hear from you

    I did a three-way yesterday and had an awesome time. One of my problems with RW is that I'm so small and so don't fall very fast (I usually wear a weight vest). I am a classic "floater". In this pic, I noticed my body position is different from the other jumpers. It looks like I'm not arching hard enough or something. I've got my legs out further because I sometimes have a tendancy to backslide. So please crituque away

    I made my first tandem jump....and got bitten by THE BUG! The day couldn't have been any better. Four awesome jumps, stand-up landings, and a sunset jump as the grand finale. As an added treat, Jeff Patricio shot this picture of me doing a three way with Russel and Jenny Miksch. Jeff had no idea I was celebrating one of the most changing days in my life. So here's a pic of my first skydive...and then one a year later (I'm in the orange)! It's truly amazing. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    0: 4: 0 Did a two-way with Go Faster and once we got stable, he started spinning us! Once I realized it was intentional and it wasn't me screwing up, I really enjoyed it!     I live right outside of Houston...but won't visit that dz until after I move to the San Antonio area. Sounds strange, but I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with the wonderful people I trained with in Beaumont.     Yes, the thought of eating the placenta is beyond gross and I can't imagine doing that. However, in some countries (not sure where exactly) this is a regular practice, I believe they make a soup out of it (gross). The placenta is full of vitamins and nutrients (animals always eat their placentas). It is also interesting that post-partem depression is a non-issue in women that do this. I do not have the specifics of where this takes place, so someone please feel free to help out. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28
