    I understand man. I am a very recent licensed jumper...and today it was a little gusty. I had jumped in higher winds before, but today I misjudged a little bit and landed off. Picked a spot right between power lines and trees I grounded myself...but lucked out when the winds died down a few hours later...had two great jumps with landings at the dZ. Honestly, I believe it's harder once your licensed because YOU have to make the call. It's much easier when someone else has that job (IMO). Hang in there...the windy season (at least in TX) won't be much longer. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    After church, dinner at my in-laws (whom I actually love). An easter egg hunt for my two boys. This will also be the last Easter we will be living in this house. We're moving about 3 1/2 hours away...so my in-laws will be a little sad I'm sure. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    This is sooo funny! I remember the first night we returned home from our honeymoon (11 years ago). It was still dark and I got up to pee. Didn't turn the light on because I didn't want to disturb him. So I sit down and fall straight in the potty! I was laughing so hard that of course he woke up. I looked at is as my initiation into marriage! Could be one of those....You KNOW you're married when...... Actually, he's pretty good at putting the lid down, but I've never made an issue about it.     We had been married ten years when I started jumping. My becoming a skydiver is something neither one of us ever saw coming. My husband loves the idea that I do it (gives him bragging rights I guess) but will probably never get into it. Actually, I'm kinda glad. I would be super nervous if he started doing it.     No it doesn't, but I'm pretty new to the sport and it is a big part of my life. I am a full-time mom though and so I have to keep it all in balance. I believe skydiving helps me do everything else better, and do not think I have to sacrifice being a good mom to be good at skydiving....or the other way around!
