I just signed up for a life ins. policy through USPA. My premiums are $23 a month for a $50,000 policy. I"m paying more than normal becuase I skydive, but it's the best deal I've found. Glad you joined us in skydiving as well as in the forums! I'm not qualified to give advice, but I'll tell you what works for me. I would always flare too early because I would look at the ground and get MAJOR ground rush. An instructor told me that when I get the "urge" to flare...say "oh crap" twice an then flare. It works like a charm General Waiver: ALWAYS defer to your instructors. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

Okay, ignore my previous post and forgive me for not reading the ENTIRE thread before posting Eric, one of our pilots, just had lasix surgery on Friday and he was flying the plane on Sunday. He swears by it and says it's a load off not having to mess with glasses or contacts again. He also said it took no time at all. Might that be an option? Here's your chance to brag on your partner. My husband and I celebrated 11 years of marriage/13 years of being together on Saturday the 25th. Yes, we got married exactly two years after we met. Anyway, He booked a weekend trip to Austin. When we arrived at the hotel Friday night, there were 18 gorgeous red roses (along with a special message) waiting for me in the room. Then the next day we went iceskating ...neither one of us had ever done it. He fell twice and still has bruises He then took me shopping and picked out a complete outfit for me. We ended our special day with a wonderful Italian dinner. He proposed a toast that made me tear up pretty good. I'm glad he's the one that didn't get away
