For me it isn't the same. I believe I now do have a moral obligation to act and will sacrifice the 5 or 10 or 20 or whatever to save my child.

Keep him there. Here we'll put him in jail for 2 days and let him out on compassionate grounds.
-
Totally. Like, the 60's were known for not having any drugs at all.
-
Agreed and to some degree where you are. I am a card carrying federal conservative in Canada. I would likely be a democrat in the US. So am I right or left?
-
I'd suggest avoiding the moose though.

Outcomes might be definite, but there is no right or wrong answer to the question. Nor do I think that what people say they would do correlates to what those same people would actually do.
-
I don't think anybody is morally obligated to make a split second decision in a high pressure situation.
-
Yup, like I said. Keep it up.
-
You don't agree with how some gay people dress.....that is the way you walk it back? That's beyond weak.
-
Maybe, if you are posting things you do not actually believe. Otherwise they are fully supported by what you have posted here. If you are just trolling, then indeed my assumptions are wrong.
-
Keep telling yourself that.

Looks like you simply cannot grasp that there is a difference between not liking somebody for what they choose and not liking somebody for what they don't have a choice in. Also looks like you don't understand what a lifestyle is. I also believe you don't want to understand.
-
And I was quoting you.
-
Not by how they look, but what they choose to wear. I am sure you do the exact same thing.
-
You base your own opinions on "some people say" when it suits you.

No such thing. There is a post hoc, ergo prompter hoc fallacy and there is an ad hoc fallacy. And to be even more correct, the ad hoc fallacy isn't really a fallacy, but a fallacious debate tactic. I am indeed no fun at parties. -
God exists, that's why I am not sure if being gay is a choice?

Also makes sense why you wouldn't be able to find it with a simple google search. -

Mainly because most of the litigation is ongoing. Though the Urgenda case in The Netherlands is a start where the litigant was successful. -

Just the logic. I could also use PCB and liver damage or a myriad of other incidences where an increased risk of something occurring exists. Should also add that I am not conflating, as in mixing together, the two. Rather, pointing out the fallacy you are exhibiting. The fallacy you are also not addressing. The only question remaining is if you simply don't understand or if you are willfully not understanding. Though, practically it doesn't really matter. -
Because by then the senators who were pushing for the killing could help him with the impeachment.
