Obama pledged In 2009 that he would cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term, still not fully understanding the depth of the recession that started in 2008. he did not fulfil that pledge in that timeframe, though he did prior to the end of his second term. Trump is claiming he is presiding over the best economy ever, best job creation ever and that the US is in the best shape ever. Trump has been growing the deficit ever since he took office, in what everybody deems to be a strong economy. Nuance and facts matter.

Ah, but that clip supposedly explains what is means to be a man, not what it means to be a real man. On top of that, I don’t think providing is what defines a man. I am the only one providing a monetary income to my family, but my wife certainly provides in her way to the family, the relationship, the household etc. So what makes you a “real man”?
-
Even if what you think happened is true. Do you not see a difference between a former president doing something and a current president doing it?
-
What is a real man?
-
I support neither as written. I support much of the thought behind it. So the answer is neither and both.
-
Which part did you not understand?

Having an opinion about something outside your sphere of influence is impracticality in pursuit of ideals or exceedingly idealistic? You aren't making any sense.
-
Yes, because some people who are not occupied by mindlessly chanting USA, USA, USA, sometimes have an opinion or care to discuss items outside of their direct sphere of influence. Like has been pointed out to you previously, you should get around a bit more.

One is a policy proposal which has died in the senate, so hard to choose that. The other is a platform statement in an election I am not eligible to vote in. So can't choose that one either. Looks like you are wrong again. That is at least three posts in a row in which you are wrong on very simple things....
-
Why would I have to back one? Is the assumption that only people who back something can be accurate?
-
That isn't true either. Green New Deal was indeed a policy proposal, packaged in a pair of House Resolutions. Sander's plan is a platform statement.
-
Except that is not what he is calling it. That is what you are calling it. It does look like you are just making this up as you go along.
-
If you understand there is a difference, then why did you use commentary on Sander's plan to opine on GND? Are you just making this shit up as you go along, grasping at anything that has the word green in it?
-
No they don't. Members of a party should have the right to know how their candidate is elected/picked/chosen/anointed though.
-
Looks like you don't understand the difference between Green New Deal and Sander's Green Energy Plan. (BTW just cause they both have the word "green" doesn't make them to same)

The threat title is "Basket of Deplorables" which refers to some Trump Supporters. Your post, which I am quoting a part of mentions Trump. Avenneti would not be as well known if it wasn't for Trump. But you think somebody else mentioning Trump is single mindedness? I suggest you do some self-reflection. Should further add, I posted that on the same day Trump tried to blackmail the Governor of New York to stop lawsuits and investigations against him. I do believe there is a good chance of Trump being indicted at the State level once he is out of office.
-
Not might be, he is currently in jail. I can think of a scenario in which he might end up being joined by trump...how ironic if they end up as cell mates. Personally I hope they throw the book at Avenatti.

Isn't it the American Dream though? In the US success has pretty much always been measured by wealth.

There IS a problem with global warming... it stopped in 1998

I did neither, it was a pure statement of fact. It is however telling you were unable to recognize that. -

Probably worthwhile to note the author is an Electrical Engineer. -
I think most of us can agree that one of those principles and virtues of the Republican party is their support for men and women in uniform. We have since seen the Republican Party support a President who did not serve in the military and who has openly attacked members of the military. It is an incredibly clear example of the Republican Party abandoning one of their core principles and virtues. Can you give an example from the Democratic party that you believe is just as clear?

If we are going to argue.....rolls up sleeves.....economic scarcity refers to the gap between limited resources and theoretically limitless wants. It really doesn't have anything to do with locality. Maybe if we get into the social psychology meaning of scarcity can we get to the term having to do with locality, but the locality becomes your brain....

Why do you think that opposing a wall from coast to coast is equivalent to opposing everything somebody suggests, including providing health care to your society?
-
So you are trolling.

No. But I do think they still have a place to hire her, since they weren't forced to shut down for fraud. Your question was if they still have a place to employ a person. Unlike the Trump Foundation, which had to be shut down and the principals banned. Further, comparing what a government should do to what a private enterprise might do is not overly valid. Lastly, complaints by you about this being off topic is laughable.
