Tax the rich, feed the poor, 'til there are no rich no more
SkyDekker replied to airdvr's topic in Speakers Corner
That is why you start a trade war, so China will pay for all that. -
From the same people who are convinced only a business man can help America.

Is that why the new head evangelical speaks in tongues? This woman is crazy, who follows this shit? https://twitter.com/AdamParkhomenko/status/1191769474103427072?s=20

Hard to know if there is any truth to this. Both the site and the author seem to have decent reputations, but this would be absolutely incredible if true. It would mean the Trump administration allowed the kidnapping of an American citizen, likely for personal gain, and is being blackmailed by another nation because of it.... https://spectator.us/seven-whistleblowers-jared-kushner-bin-salman/

Maybe, but based on what we can observe here, it is totally true.

So predictable it is almost funny. Wonder what Turtle's next mis-representation will be. With Rush apparently gone are you going to take over his MO? Posting articles that don't say what you claim they say....
-
Agreed. That was the plutocracy part of the comment.
-
The whole term is a misnomer that get's jumped on. The problem isn't that all incomes aren't equal. The problem is in the spread and the number of people involved. Combine that with a plutocracy and you can start seeing what the issue might be. Responding to that with some asinine suggestion is intellectually dishonest.
-
Except it doesn't.
-
That is just downright scary rhetoric.
-
Of course Trump has had Barr flying around the world trying to convince people to manufacture dirt on those same intelligence services.... If the dude is dead. Great. But that doesn't mean there can't be issues. Like telling the Russians first. Like complicating matters by withdrawing from Syria over tweet. Like the juvenile comments during a press conference. etc etc.
-
Considering she got more people to vote for her as opposed to her opponent, that doesn't appear to be true either.

Sure, that's why I said that BIGUN must have thought Trump's policies were sound. He said that was not a fair inference. So then he must believe the US has different standards for male and female candidates. Something I personally believe. But he dismissed that idea too. Not sure what other option there is. Hence, I have asked him to clarify his statement. People get upset when others infer something, but then are not willing to explain their positions/statements.
-
Then be clear. You said: "The country will be ready for a woman president when she presents herself as someone with sound policy and a vision for the future of our country, not because it’s time to elect a woman as president ." Do you think the standard for male candidates is the same? How do you reconcile that with your implication that Trump did not have sound policy? Just trying to make sense of your statement.
-
Then the only other option is that you meant a woman should have sound policy to be elected, but a man does not need that. You seemed to imply that you see male and female candidates as equals. But if you don't think trump had sound policy, but you list that as a requirement for a female candidate.....well then you are treating them differently.
-
Which would imply you believe Trump was/is someone with sound policy.

Except once again, all available evidence suggests aid was withheld not because the company his son worked at was being investigated, but because the prosecutor was not investigating corruption. The exact opposite of the narrative you are currently on.
-
Uhmm, no. Reality is that she lost. That doesn't mean you can just ascribe any reason to it and call it reality.
-
Turns out she was right. Employment has held steady among coal miners last few years. This has been driven by increases in coal exports. Those increases are widely expected to diminish in the next two years, with employment in that industry falling. Add on top of that the recent bankruptcies in that industry and well...Clinton was right. Your narrative also doesn't seem to include the years long Benghazi investigations which were held solely to undermine her future presidential run as admitted by at least 1 Republican lawmaker. An investigation that started behind closed doors, shielded from the public. A process Republicans are now very upset over.
-
Because with Trump there is incredibly little, if anything in his history that would suggest he does anything for anybody other than himself.
-
Except they don't. The purpose of a speed limit is to generally reduce the speed at which people drive. Or more specifically, reduce the speed differential between traffic participants. Speed limits are generally very effective at accomplishing this. The idea that laws and regulations are only successful or warranted if they produce 100% compliance is laughable.
-
What does this mean?
-
So you got nothing? Just your own assumptions to create an equivalency that doesn't exist. That is what you are using to accuse others of hypocrisy.
-
So where does he say his dad brokered the deal? Your question regarding Chelsea clearly insinuated action by the parents. Like I said, you are making things up. What isn't made up is the Trumps directly profiting while being in office and Trump putting his kids in positions, forcing denied security clearances and those kids enriching themselves through those actions. Then you want to claim hypocrisy by creating a false narrative just so you can point to a Democrat.
