    I believe the ACLU is needed more now than ever before, especially in light of the present government's attack on civil rights. Sure would be nice if we didn't need a group like the ACLU, but that's not gonna happen as long as the Republicans or Democrats are in power.

    Pro choice and pro abortion are not synonymous. Pro choice is about believing that it is not the governments place to make personal decisions for people. And, in your first paragraph (I didn't quote it) you point out that most people didn't criticize this couple for having 16 kids, that they respected their choice. BTW, after everyone agreed that they had the choice to have as many kids as they could raise responsibly, all that really left was the hair to argue about. It's not shallow; it's Speakers Corner!

    The tastes great/less filling thing comes from an old, but long running, Miller Lite beer advertising campaign. All the commercials ended with people arguing or fighting over whether Miller Lite tastes great or is less filling. The reality, incidentally, is none of the above.     What kind of computer are you using? Any new Mac comes with iMovie HD, which is all you need to get started editing video. It does have its limitations, but you will be able to learn and do a lot before you reach them. Macs also come with iPhoto, although it is quite limited in comparison to photo shop. Of course, if you are not trying to edit the stills, iPhoto will be adequate. You can buy a new Mac for less money than some of the aftermarket software available for PCs (or Macs), assuming you get legal copies, which is definitely recommended if you plan on selling your work.     Would you want to go to combat with someone who wasn't willing to give 100%? The military isn't for everyone. If it's not for you, then you should do both you and your unit a favor, and takes the necessary steps to intiate a seperation. If it is for you, then suck it up and drive on.

    From CYPRES manual: From Vigil manual: That seems slightly less restrictive than Airtec's parameters to me. You may not be aware that some jump planes descend at freefall speeds or higher. A CYPRES can fire under such conditions, as well. If you believe Advanced Aerospace Designs has cut corners on the Vigil, you are misinformed. However, there is always room for improvement in most any design, and skydivers are always looking for better equipment. If you feel you can write a superior algorithm, I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a market.

    True, and if an owner claims ownership, I will no longer assume public domain. Incidentally, if a videographer is working in the capacity of dropzone employee, by default, any copyright is owned by the drop zone, and not the videographer.

    I also have a copy of a video with people doing stupid shit around a tandem. It is not labeled with a copyright, or an author, and to the best of my knowledge, it is public domain. Anyone who wants to see the video, let me know. Anyone who believes such distribution violates a copyright should send to me proof of ownership and copyright.
