  1. Maybe your question should be, "Why do people celebrating Juneteenth like to Kill and beat people?" Juneteenth celebrations seem to have alot of thugs walking amoung them. Rest asure that our Savage and Barbarian court system will deal with these Kind and Gental souls when they are captured and brought to justice for this deliberate Murder.
  2. And to think I thought it was an EXTRA, EXTRA moment.
  3. Popular Science July 2007 cover is a concept of a jumper performing reentry from an altitude of 328,089'. Entrepreneur Rick Tumlinson hopes to parlay recreational space jumps into a space suit business. From my view point if possible will only be available to the wealthy because (1) space travel currently is not very cheap, (2) pressure suits that can manage reentry and keep the suited subject alive will run $500,000 to 1,000,000+ (3) training cost a sum of money many will find impossible. Popular Science has published many ideas that over many years have been developed even though not in the original form. Capt. Kittenger holds the current record @ 102,800', will this record hold for the next decade or two?
  4. If we could get the 11 to 12 million illegals to leave would be a fine start, but that will never happen just as Alec Baldwin was all talk no action.
  5. > Intelligent people have a similar experience when attempting to listen to Limbaugh. I exspected, such a response, even if in fun. But the intellignet people are those that have taken a form of Media and packaged it with a business plan that not only informs but developes a market of millions of listeners. This inturns brings in millions of dollars in advertizing. I would consider the Limbaugh's of the world brilliant when they can do what they love and make millions doing it. But this of course come from a bias view point because I'm a big listener of Talk Radio.
  6. They wouldn't hear the message either, after they'd been lulled to sleep by some of the mundane crap on PBS. Who they gonna blame then? > lulled to sleep by some of the mundane crap on PBS. Such a true statement, I've made several attempts to listen to NPR radio and found the talking heads to be very boring. You have to be a member of the Walking Dead to listen for any great length of time.
  7. Whats funny is this African American Judge asked for a recess because the trail became to emotional for him to continue and left the court room in tears. Should have left the court room in cuffs for attempting to extort millions from a family run business.
  8. The thing is, they found the pants and wanted to return them to him. Also I believe several attempts to appease this ASS with several thousand dollars to leave them alone. The Dude needs to be held to account, and be required to repay all legal expenses to this Korean Family as well as some big dollars for Pain and Suffering.
  9. I did'nt think you were a big fan of JC.
  10. And Ollie North and Cap Weinberger. Ollie is a Great American, need more men like em.
  11. I hope you are not including Britney in this set. It is particularly blinkered to equate contribution to the nation with economic impact. Would you consider a Medal of Honor recipient less worthy than Britney because he's made less money? No not at all, because the Medal of Honor recipient should be head in High Esteem and should be given a great deal of respect. The Britney Spears of the world get allot of attention because of millions of dallors spent on marketing. They also get a great deal of criticism self distructing. No one but the closes family members will remember the Medal of Honor Recipient because they don't attract attention to themselves. The Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan's of the world are important so that a watching world can see how two tallented girls with millions of dollars can distroy themselves, because they have no self control.
  12. In fact, I submit that Britney Spears' recording, touring etc, has a larger economic impact than the Speakers. This nation has been blessed with individuals who have a dream mixed with great passion who have spent themselves in a worthy cause to do great things. Few politician have reconized the importants of providing policy and regulations that would incourage others to build on their dreams and safe guards to protect the consumers, then get the hell out of the way.
  13. Quote of the Day, "Fairness, to Democrats, is misery spread equally." The Dems are obsessed with equality. They are obsessed with everybody being the same. Boys and girls are not different. Multiculturalism is all about making sure that everybody, every religion is the same, every cultural cusp is the same, none is better than the other, none is worse than the other, because Dems will not make such judgments. So when Mrs. Clinton starts talking about fairness, that's a code word for government's going to come in and we're going to legislate and mandate equality of outcomes. What does it mean to you and me in real terms? Well, the great leaders, such as Chairman Hillary...hehehe, assures us that the new society, this "we're all in it together" society means prosperity to all. Every American will get affordable health insurance bestowed by the same big government types that created the problems that we have now. Corporations will be punished. She's making no secret of this. This is not the first time she's said it. She says that there will be no more special breaks. Oil companies are going to be punished the most. Oil companies will be required to invest in technologies that she and government deem appropriate, or they will face higher taxes. Corporate CEOs will have their paychecks monitored by the public, and they will be open to public challenge. These are stunning admissions that she's making, and I'll tell you what, the fact that the Drive-Bys ie (the Media) for those on the West Coast or in the North East are not pumping it up and making a big deal out of it is because they know how damaging this could be if it were given wide play. Some out there I'm sure would love to celebrate this and ring the bells, but they don't dare. This stuff hasn't been proposed ever in this country in such open, blatant terms. She goes on and on and on about how this is just such an unfair society, this "on your own" business, it leads to inequality, it leads to some having more than others. And the reason some get more than others is that the people have more steal from the others, and it's just not fair, it just isn't right. So what she favors is collectivism. If you study collectivism, communism, socialism, whatever you what to call it, this crap has been around the world, you will find a trail of human misery, economic collapse, and failure in its wake. But she says the government can be the great equalizer, and it can't. In less than 231 years the United States of America has surpassed every population group, every other country, every system of government on earth by unlocking one thing, and that is the vast potential of individual effort, encouraged by freedom.
  14. Looking over the Facts you provided the US has once again proved to the World that we can still beat em.
  15. > As long as a person keeps to themselves and doesn't interfere with me or other people, they can believe anything they want. My thoughts as well when it come to Atheist.
  16. Lemme get this straight, you believe the Kyoto Accord is a conspiracy attempting to slow the U.S. economy and that it has nothing whatsoever to do with the environment? Ahhh...Yea, seeing that the US does a great deal in cleaning up its messes and is no were near the polluter China / India and Russia are. The US needs to stay clear of the Kyoto Accords.
  17. Yea, that be the truth, the guys and gals I work with do it all the time mainly because our average dive at depth is 2.5 hours. You can always spot the diver flushing their wet suit with water at depth when you see them pumping the neck ring in and out. But when in cold water, it provides alittle warmth to keep you toasty.
  18. Standard rule of thumb is 30 feet per minute or to the novice no faster than your smallest bubble while breathing normally.
  19. With over 6,000 hours logged in the last 20 years I had one somewhat major problem. I made a dive to 40 feet with sinus problems from a cold, BIG Mistake because coming up I suffered a Reverse Block. Extreme pain in my sinus cavities in my cheeks and my ears were unable to equalize due to mucus. After about 7 -8 minutes I was able to clear the mucus which is not a pretty site and make it to the surface. The danger of a reverse block is a ruptured ear drum which is extremely painful and causes vertigo. Get good training and take the sport equally as serious as you do skydiving and you will enjoy it for years to come.
  20. Beat me to it, I was just going to say, "gays have been traveling back and forth from Uranus for sometime."
  21. Will the Ark be 1/100 or smaller in scale or are they planning on building it 1/1? If the latter, they will need more time. Greenpeace, what a bunch of wackoos, but at least this project keeps several of em off the oceans for a short while.
  22. > Thanks for the update. It is an eye opener. Why do you even bother to respond to some of these post? Invested in defeat is a true statement when it comes to liberals and any war since Viet Nam. We entered into a war with Japan, over less than 3,000 killed in a deliberate attack. That war cost the lives of over 90,000 American service members. Is there any threat to our Nation Liberals would risk the lives of our great fighting men and women? A threat that would surely cost the lives of thousands and a conflict that could go beyond 4 year? A purpose that would bring them together for the common good. I'm beginning to think not, unless of course it had something to do with the elimination of Christians, but even then they could'nt muster up the courage unless it was in a court room.
  23. The chemical compound digydrogen monoxide (DHMO) has been implicated in the deaths of thousands if not millions over the years. This deadly chemical if incountered in its gaseous form can cause severe burns or even death. Therefore for all of use that are concerned for our fellow man/women/child should insist that all world governments ban this chemical and remove it from the face of the earth.
  24. > If Bank of America is waiving closing costs but their interest rate is high, then it's not such a good deal. Best get your Truth in Lending Documents in front of you to determine if in fact the Closing Cost have been waived when and if you enter into a contractual relationship with Bank of America. The Bank controls 3 things when it comes to mortgages, and the only one we seem to be concerned about is the Rate. Your goal when buying a hove hopefully is to have it become an asset, not remain a liability.
  25. All taxpayers were. And then to rebuild the disaster in waiting. Well, as Channmann points out, that was the special Negro Fund. I'm only pointing out that a town with only a few minutes warning was completly removed from the map, as apposed to a city and its people that could see pending doom do nothing. After which there was a great cry for government funding and well over a Billion dollars raised for relief by private groups to provide for the homeless as well as communities opening up there home and cities for hundreds of thousands. Have'nt seen the same outpouring for this small town, other than the Government stepping in and local communities doing what they can to help. It's just an observation.
