> have ZERO doubt that WHEN Iran does get them they will provide them to Hezbollah for use against Israel and the US. I have no doubt whatsoever that SAVAMA and VEVAK officers and supporters who WILL use them have already been infiltrated into this country Then, are we to have ZERO doubt that you would support a strike at the US earliest convience to prevent or slowdown Irans ability to make and supply Nukes.

You just had to throw #2 in there, truth is painful enough without having put in your face. Professed Christians have done their share of screwing people over. Perhaps I should'nt us the word screwing, but it flowed right off my fingers.

> "We use that word—Christian—to refer to people who are evangelical Christians," Christian is a term used for individuals that are Christ Followers, few of which intertain themselves at DZ.com or in the sport of skydiving. Christians as a whole are quite tolerant unlike many atheist. Far more money is given for the common good than atheist as a whole. (Through that in there just to get this thead going)

> Correction, anyone over the age of 35 who can raise at least a quarter of a billion dollars might have a chance to be president if they agree to put (D) or (R) after their name. All others need not apply. I read somewhere AP or Washington Times that the cost for the Presidency is going to come in around 1 BILLION in 2008.

> While a victory may help the repubs and not do any favors for the dems in the polls, I find it hard to believe that the dems actually want us to lose. Seems like conspiracy theory material to me. Dems have scheduled an Iraqi retreat to begin September of 2008 if not before.

Are you speaking there as well. Not that interested in hanging around more whiners.

OOps, stumbled into another Liberal Blog. Ya'll continue.

> I'm a black belt Hey girl, I've heard of this 6 Sigma in the halls of NASA, never thought about it much. Sounds like some kind of Martial Arts training. So, when you get frustrated you give them a hand chop across the neck, and say, "get her done"

> using government funds for private schools First of all the government doesn't have any funds other than those it takes from me and you. I currently pay 3,700 a year in school taxes which would be about half of what it would cost to place one of my girls in a good private school here in Houston. That money would do a better job for my girls educaton and the public school system because public schools would then be required to compete for those dollars and begin providing a better education or be forced to close their doors.

> You must believe in the carefully-cultivated intentional misconception that global warming will result in warmer and drier temperatures everywhere. Contrary to many strawmen that the deniers have constructed, climate change will not eliminate winter. No, I believe I know very little, OK maybe nothing on the matter of GW other than I thought it was funny having a Global Warming March in blowing snow. In a desert would have made their point alittle clearer.

Hell, got to be careful with that mouse button. Them GOP Senators need to learn to fight back. Damn Cowards. Ya'll need to leave em alone, they under alot of pressure trying to find there way back from "Insignificants".

> You know, maybe I should just cherry pick out the lines within and article that support only my point. Would that make it easier or would you perfer the whole article for context and honesty. The article I posted clearly has issues with the way GW temp data is collected which is another point I have made in this debate. You just want to pick out bits and pieces to make this all seem confusing. Why? I have an idea but I will not post it here. Hey did you here about the GW Religion march to bring attention to Global Warming. They had to brave a blowing Snow Storm, just plan funny. Just a follow up, has anybody recued them two pour Pollar Bares stuck and staving on the Ice Flow? Any recue mission being planned? Times running out with rising temp. and such, them poor things could drown.

Woman denied right to use marijuana as life-saving medication
Channman replied to SpeedRacer's topic in Speakers Corner
Without ready through all the crap. Marijuana is now a life saving medication? All ones needs to do is inhale this wonder drug to reap a life saving cure -
I've desided once again to come out of my self imposed Banning from DZ.com to make the following statement concerning Global Warming and its effects on Houston. I believe we Houstonians will begin to feel the effects of Global Warming in June of this year. Skydive Spaceland however promisses cooler temps at 14,000 to ease the pain.

> Berger-gate was far more damaging to national security and got 1/10 the press coverage. And got his Security Clearance back prior to entering Hillary's Pres. Camp.

> What have YOU done to offset your carbon use? I took a test on BP.com to determine my C02 foot print and I scored only a 36. Now thats a failing grade, but I'm working hard at getting that score up to 75-80 by next year.

The Bush Recession? I believe Greenspan put it more like the current economic cycle is coming to an end. Bush does'nt run the American economy, businesses run the economy. In the financial word, the American economy works much like a clock. From 6:00 to 12:00 is a recovery cycle i.e. Growth. and from 12:00 to 6:00 is a declining cycle. This happens on average every 4 years, with the recession lasting 1 year or less on average. With that said, its going to be a great time to make money.

> I plan on putting $100-$200 away a month Although many here have given good advice such as the Roth IRA and Traditional IRA's. I would advise you to consider the Simple IRA since you are self employeed. Although you are only planning to save a maximum of $2,400 per year to start, the Simple IRA allows you to invest up to $10,000 of your gross compensation along with up to an additional 3% match from your company that you own. So as your earning grows or if you have a very good year you can contribute much more to your SIMPLE than you could to an individual IRA/Roth. The benefit is this when you start doing well. You can contribute $10,000 to your SIMPLE, Save an additional $4,000 in a Roth IRA, and if you are married with a non-working or working spouse an additional $4,000 in her Roth IRA. That is $10,000 growing taxed deffered, and $8,000 dallors in an account that the earnings is growing tax free if you follow the IRS rules, long story but easy to look up or ask an investment advisor and they can direct you. The Rule of 72 is an excellent way to estimate your potential earnings over time.

Time to move on to new subjects. This one is getting very old. But to the Poll, I Agree with Zell. Kerry is an Ass, most educated thinking people can see that for themselves.

*REPUBLICANS* Who is YOUR 2008 Presidential Candidate?
Channman replied to SkyChimp's topic in Speakers Corner
I'm a Newt supporter, however he is not going to run. He has made statements that if necessary he would possible enter in September which will be far to late in the year to even think of being competitive. No, he is not running. Now that New York Mayor dude has possiblities and John McCain will not be supported in the national committees because of his support for many liberal dem causes. -

> edit: and a NASA jet is going to take her back home. Our tax dollars hard at work. Well that is interesting that NASA would make arrangements to bring her home. I'm sure it's to do some internal investigation with possible dismissle, but I want begin to speak for NASA. I've meet this astronaut on several occasion while working at the Neutral Buoyancy Lab in Houston. On one such meeting it was pulling her through the water in her Assured Crew Escape Suit (Pumkin Suit) simulating a parachute drag through the water. Bailout Training refresher is performed by every crew prior to launch. Don't know her all that well eccept that she is a mother of twin girls which I believe are around the ages of 4 and a son I think. Not sure of her relationship with her husband, but I'm sure he has far more questions than any of us here. I'ts a sad time, not to mention News NASA could do without.
