  1. You know not what you speak of. But that has'nt stopped ya in the past.
  2. So now you have to go through some history at me. The Reagan Lebanon remark was hurtful.
  3. > Most of those from the C&R crowd... C&R = Cut and Run? I perfer the Y&B crowd. (Yellow Belly)
  4. > DeGarmo and Key That is Old School, have meet them and had an album signed by the members. Newsboys very popular with my girls.
  5. > Jars of Clay. Great Group, also MercyMe and Audio Adrenaline. Al Denson who once was very popular was best friends with my wife when in High School, played and sang at our wedding 21 short years ago. Not to mention he has a very nice King Air 350.

    > Isn't it also strange that the news never reports the death of a single hezbollah soldier, as if they are invincible? Many of the so called civilian dead are Hezboo soldiers. Hezboo's have no uniforms other than normal civilian clothing.
  7. > I EXPECT better behavior from a nation state >Equating behaviors simply raises Hezbollah to a higher status than it deserves. The nation state you make reference to is trying to lower Hezbollah to a status it deserves...the grave.
  8. > Everytime I see I wanna throw her a steak and say "EAT THIS DAMMIT!" Now thats just plan funny. pajarito, them legs are way to skinny, possible eating disorder. Her last book "Godless" was a very good read" and I have plans on having her sign it when the oppertunity comes and add it to my collection. I believe she comes accross as alittle rough, and sometimes does not appear to have a Christ Like attitude when it comes to the John Murtha's, ACLU hacks of the world.
  9. > Further, if they didn't have any means to clear the vicinity of the compound of hostiles without killing the UN's personnel (which I would find incredible, given their equipment) then they should, quite simply, have held their fire. War is HELL. Back in 1967 Israel was engaged in military conflict as it is currently. A USN USS Liberty SEGNET ship in international waters was conducting close surveillance on the IDF's as well as other forces engaged against Israel. Long story short, IDF's attacked the USS Liberty with aircraft and torpedo boats, killing 34 American Serviceman and wounding around 170 Plus. Isreal expressed their remorse for tragic and regretable mistargeting of a US War Ship. They had mistaken it for an Egytain ship. There were many accounts as to what happened, the primary one being the attach was a deliberate and coordinated effort involving air, sea, headquarters and commando forces attacking over a long period of time. According to a senior Israeli pilot, name not known to me recognized the Liberty as American immediately, so informed his headquarters, and was told to ignore the American flag and continue the attack. After refusing the orders the pilot returned to base and was arrested. Another prominent account for the targeting, but much less known was the USS Liberty was transmitting in the open IDF movements, and thus became a target.
  10. Way Cool, have my picture with Bush 1. When do you plan on getting your picture with Cindy Sheehammmm
  11. > MYTH : The US was founded on Christian principles. And to think, all this time I thought they opened with prayer during the writting of the Declaration of Independence. Me beginning to think you is trying to start a Myth.
  12. > Out here, we have a federally-funded cross standing on top of a mountain. Is that the same cross that was placed with private funds for a war memorial sometime in the late 50's? Are you opposed to its presence?
  13. > nothing more than a line-item veto. A line-item veto if passed into law would be of great value to any president, and when it comes to keeping a growing budget in check the line-item veto is a good way to stop pork projects.
  14. Damn, this has been a good thread, with some really good comments from all sides. Must add, Lawrocket you need to seriously consider syndication, maybe even a book.
  15. > I think some people are finally seeing why groups like HAMAS and Hezbollah came to be. And I think some people are finally seeing an oppertunity to remove them from the face of the Earth i.e. HAMAS and Hezbollah, and be remembered nomore.
  16. > I agree. I always like to offer help. Typically, it'sin the form of, "Well, here are some possible solutions." On the other hand, there is the ideology out there that says, "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. It is an inescapable cycle. No matter how you try, they will keep you down. For those of you who are people of color, the system is racist and will discriminate against you and you won't get ahead, (shut up, Asians), so you are out of luck. Especially if you are not a native speaker of English (Asians, I'm warning you). For those of you who grew up poor, you will be kept there by the forces that put you there. You are all disadvantaged. "You blacks, hispanics, etc? You cannot get ahead. Maybe some of the poorer whites can, but not you. You cannot rise to the top of the Joint Chiefs (Powell isn't a REAL black man), or be a Supreme Court Justice (None of you are Thurgood Marshall, and Clarence Thomas is a sell-out)." That is poverty-pimping of the kind I despise. It is patronizing and insulting, arrogant and condescending. The left wing seems to say, "You can't make it, no matter what. I know, because I'm up here." When discussing my background with a lefty, the usual response is, "So you think you are better than them because you've come this far?" My response is, "No. I'm no smarter than them, just more skeptical. My thought is that if I can do it, so can they. I think this because I do not believe that I am any better." This is, I think, the crux of the ideological divide. I don'tthink I'm any better than the kid in the hood, because I WAS a kid in the hood - no better than any of them. I was just more skeptical of what I was told. Even though I was told that all the doors were closed, once I got past the people telling me that, I found out there were no doors to begin with. You ever thought of writing an OP ED for Newsweek / New York Times. I'm sure their circulation would see an increase in readership. I would stop by and drop a few quarters to read your column.
  17. There you go putting thoughts in my head. You must be smart or something.
  18. Hey, just wanted to thank you for some fine photos. Looking for your web site if you could post it. Appreciate the extra effort you put into making my photo. Cheers
  19. Should be no surprise to you that he Vetoed this bill. He made it clear way back that he would, and there does not appear to be enough votes to over ride the veto. Adult stem cells have proved to be far more effective for several decades now. So lets all move along now to other topic of interest, this one is getting old.
  20. Oh, my acking butt WWII Japan war dead in the Pacific was roughly 1,300,000+ with about a 1,000,000 civilian deaths, which by the way a fixed number is not truely known but a hell of alot for sure. The US suffered about 90,000+ combat deaths on top of all these numbers. Civilian death in Europe where well over these numbers with Dresdin (Spelling is possibly wrong) Germany suffering more than 50,000 civilian deaths from fire bombings. We did'nt have a bunch of know it all's running around trying to make political points with the number of dead. Our fathers and grandparents were busy with trying to win freedom by conducting all out war. By the way people good and bad die on all sides when two armies or terroriest are thowing bombs. > no wonder they are so thrilled that we 'freed' them from the tyranny.... maybe you should be asking why their own countrymen are killing one another by the thousands, or Muslim on Muslim violence that occurs on a daily bases. It sure in hell is not the US military deliberatly targeting these people, but a group of fine men and women putting their asses on the line that they may if they are willing to fight for it, have peace.
  21. Hey Turtleman, Had the oppertunity to meet ya Monday afternoon while you were packing up. Hope you had a fine time at spaceland. Sorry I did'nt get to talk to ya more but was jumping in the Right Seat in the Otter to scare the crap out of Ian. That plane flys alittle funny from the right seat, and no body wants to land with me, whats up with that? Cheers
  22. OOPs, I ended up in a Liberal Blog again, ya'll continue, pardon my intrusion.
  23. Hey Amanduh, who's the dude pawing our packer.
  24. > Rather they're attacking an organization which is hell-bent on Israel's destruction, whatever it takes. Israel should take em out completly, winning absolute victory and the US should do all they can to insure they have all the support necessary to complete this task. I'm choosing sides and I choose Israel over terriorist and Governments that provide safe haven and financial, and military support to blood thursty killers.
