> I have to disagree on this point. Parents have given the education system too much rope and need to reign it in. I would have to say Private Schools and Home Schooling are beginning to be the only places a parent can insure their children get a good education without the crap.

> I think he deserves jail time, but if, as some have said, the age of consent in D.C. is 16, does that mean there is no crime? Well, I'll bring it up... the left for years now have been telling our kids to have safe sex. We pass out condoms in school, we show how they can place them on all sorts of fruits i.e. Mark Foley, Barney Franks. Hell this stuff is through out our society as being OK. Need to find your inner self, sexual orientation....you know kids are going to do it so why not with a Congressmen / Congress women. Heck we have women wedding their pet fish ok so it was a dolphin, and or their dog. Give it 20 years and it will be ok to do your page on lunch break the way were going as long as they are 13 or older.

> Oh, I suspect they will pick up a few seats in both houses this time. Not because they 'get it' but because the GOP can seem to do little lately but shoot itself in the foot. The democrats may not have much in the way of plans/policies, but at least their feet are mostly intact. Ouch man, you just want stop..."UNCLE", "UNCLE". A few seats hell, if were lucky. The only time its seems we open our mouths is to change feet.

> The only objective truth here is that Foley sent obscene PM's to kids, and resigned as a result. Well not going to dance all over this. It looks as though Mark Foley may be in for some jail time, quite possibly will need to be placed on suicide watch. But it is interesting that this information came out 40 days prior to the election. What other secrets will be waiting for us all in the next few weeks. I was very much in a good mood with the Rep. chances of maintaining both houses and only giving up 5-8 seats in congress, however things are not looking so bright. Well as they say, theres always 2008.

Home Schooling, much safer.

I have a question, the girl that has the really smart boy but has a debt to the Mob for $50,000. What is her abilities, she sees herself in the mirror, the mob dude gets ready to punch her in the face, next thing she knows there are two dead men in her room. Is this like an out of body experence? Did the girl in the mirror kill these two wack jobs? I guess I'll have to wait till next week to see if there are any answers.

> get the call, and contrary to what I thought, he said "citigroup". First of all the individual is very much misleading because he uses the Citigroup name. Citigroup is the parent company of Primerica Financial Services, and this statement alone is non-compliant and subject this individual to possible company sanctions or a letter of repremand. Primerica is a Business oppertunity and income is based on commissions only.

Dispite what you may here from those on this blog, Primerica is the largest marketing arm of financial products in US history. Citigroup being the Largest Corp. in the world would not stake its rep on a Amway scam, nor is it legal. Metlife, Genworth, Smith Barney, AIM, Putnam, Franklin Templeton, Van Kampen, Legg Mason...to name a few would think many of the comments here are based on ignorance. Billions of dollars in securities transaction were invested by Primerica Rep. which by the way is global in scale. From Long Term Care, Securities, Mortgages, Pre-paid Legal, Term Life, and a free Financial Plan you want find a better company that put families first. These Independent Representitives are required to be finger printed, criminal back ground checks, obtain legal licenses in each state they wish to conduct business and by the way are kicking their so called compentions asses in the process. Primerica has more self made millionairs than any other corporation, and tens of thousands making more than a 100,000.00 in income running their own offices. Its a great oppertunity and should be given serious consideration. After all the Rocket Man doen't hold the keys to your income protential nor should any one else here on speakers corner. I only say this because a very close friend of mine that I work with at NASA was killed with his son in a mid-air collision on Jan 4, 1994. The aircraft that hit him was flown by a man that he went to church with that afternoon. Richard my friend had just taken a term life policy out with Primerica Life December 28th of 1993 and the policy had not been issued. Primerica paid Susan the widow over $300,000.00 four weeks later.

Clinton's seizure during Fox News Sunday interview
Channman replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
> Funny - several of the democrats running in this election are recently returned Iraq and Afghanistan vets. It would be interesting to hear the ensuing conversation if you told them they were not interested in fighting the war on terror. These few individuals may well be strong on defence of our Nation with respect to the war on terror. However if elected they would be brought into line by their Dem. Leadership, for a quick "RETREAT", phrased as redeployment with Jack, Nancy, Harry, Teddy, Chucky, Charles, .....list is far to long to write here leading the way. >The one thing we _know_ we can count on from republicans is a lot more coffins. Without going through a large list here as well, the Dems have been very much responsible for almost three thousand coffins in a single day. Running from those who want to kill you only makes you safe for alittle while. Facing them and removing them as a threat can give you peace that can last for many years. -
Clinton's seizure during Fox News Sunday interview
Channman replied to sundevil777's topic in Speakers Corner
> It won't work, but I'm positive that's what he was attempting to do. We're going to see all sorts of virtual "big guns" get whipped out here in the closing weeks leading up to the election. With the ability to look back, I'm sure many had wish they never excepted the interview. A soft ball question, to a former Commander and Chief, who responded in a childish manner will not help in the up coming elections. As a former CIA officer tasked with tracking and killing OBL said, in a follow up interview on ABC, Clinton had 8 to 10 opportunities to authorize the killing of OBL but failed to do so after repeated attempts to get the order from field officers in harms way ready to pull the trigger. Bush had one oppertunity to possibly get OBL in Tora Bora, in which at least he had boots on the ground but failed to press the matter with more troops in hopes to block and kill him. The November elections will be enteresting, but I believe the Voting American public, not those who give us all lip serves and then stay at home know the Dems are not enterested in fighting the war on terror. The one thing we can count on from the Dems is a swift retreat of our troops within our own boarders in hopes they will leave us all alone. -
> 75 year and 100 year mortgages are in the works. Maybe those banks know something about our Health Care Technology allowing us to live longer to pay in $100s of thousands more in interest. 75 - 100 year mortgages!!! tell me its not so.
-
> floating right around the $3.00 mark in Orange County, California. Thats a perfect price for Orange County, however it might be alittle cheap and you may wish to raise it to about 3.75 to 4.50 to handle all those law suits for Global Warming. Think of it as a Global Warming Tax. I'll stay with the $1.92 here in Houston, we don't have any global warming issues here.

> I think this is another waste of time and money. Coming from the Left Coast, this is not a waste of time but it's all about the MONEY. > boats, lawn mowers, weed eaters, tractors, chain saws, or anything that runs on gas? How do Airplanes rate on how much global warming does it cause. Those lawsuits are pending release I'm sure. Truely a friendly state to open a business and hey how about them 50 year mortgages im hearing about in Cal. that will prehibit the average family of ever obtaining financial independence.

McCain, Warner, Graham and Powell act honorably
Channman replied to kallend's topic in Speakers Corner
> My only real gripe with McCain is the McCain/Feingold bill. Agree, however McCain is no Conservitive and will find it very difficult in getting the Nomination of the Republican Party. Many in the North East like him as well as in the west because he holds many of the same values. In the South however he is not all that respected. I've made myself very clear on many post in the past concerning this Dem dressed as a Repub, he did'nt get the nod in 2000 and he want get it in 2008. When we gather for our convention in 2008, I'll be voting NO. NO Way for a McCain Presidency. -
What the hell are you talking about, oh try popping a mint or two might help with the dogbreath.

One Leak and a Flood of Silliness "Washington Post" By David S. Broder Thursday, September 7, 2006; A27 A few quotes, "No one behaved well in the whole mess -- not Wilson, not Libby, not special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald and not the reporters involved." "In fact, the prosecutor concluded that there was no crime; hence, no indictment. And we now know that the original "leak," in casual conversations with reporters Novak and Bob Woodward, came not from the conspiracy theorists' target in the White House but from the deputy secretary of state at the time, Richard Armitage, an esteemed member of the Washington establishment and no pal of Rove or President Bush." "These and other publications owe Karl Rove an apology. And all of journalism needs to relearn the lesson: Can the conspiracy theories and stick to the facts." For those of you so quick to judge, you may add your apology as well. davidbroder@washpost.com

Vast Oil Pool Tapped in Gulf of Mexico

OK, I spoke with one of the individuals that is envolved in trying to make this happen. Funding the project is the primary hold up. The location in the NASA Bay Area is their primary interest, but unable at this time to make it happen due to funding. So with that said, if everyone who is a member of USPA send me your non refundable contribution of $125.00 I will build said wind tunnel in your honor. All profits will be donated to my bank account, and a Christmas card will be sent to everyone who contributed to this Great Cause.
