  1. Office Space is one of my all time favorite movies....maybe I need to get a baseball bat and just beat the crap out of whats left of my PC while singing the Ganster song.http://www.bullshitjob.com/officespace/paperjamsamir.wav just a quick sound bite to bring back memories.
  2. Well maybe we can start a new sport.....We can see who can throw there PC the farthest. We can even break it down into catalogies..monitors..towers...scanners...ect. And of course it will be mandatory to slam on drink between throws and afterwards we can all sit around and watch the movie Office Space and sympathise with those guys.
  3. I would need multiple boxes and I'm not sure that I found all the parts....Like I said it flew alright but it landed like crap[:(But I guess I could put it back in it's box and always stamp "members missing"on it....lol
  4. Well I have just learned on valuable lesson....If your going to set-up a new computer and fancy toys that that connect to it , you should do it sober...My sad story is as follows...Been having trouble with my old PC and it locked up for about the millionth time in one day so I thought I would see just how well a PC could fly(they fly OK but the landing got ugly). So after that venting I had to buy a new one. I bought a really nice one and then started drinking heavily to sooth the ache that I was feeling in my wallet. Well my scanner and digital camera didn't load up the drivers and upon checking I noticed they were too old and not compatible with XP. At this point I was sober enough to go to the manufactures web sites to see if updated drivers were available. After messing with the scanner I was pretty toasty(and the scanner is useless) The camera looked like there was hope and I followed the directions and it didn't work. Next morning I went out all hung over and bought a new digital camera...installed it and it worked fine. Now after I'm fully sobered up and cleaning up the mess I looked at the directions for my old camera and I had installed it wrong...AUGH...It actually works fine and I wasted money on a camera that I bought on clearance and is non-returnable....well lesson learned...Beer is good and Computers are bad
  5. Big applause to you....I am exactly the same way....when I seal a reserve I am recertifing that rig for the next 120 and that includes the entire system and AAD.
  6. I've washed close to 100 containers for my rigging customers...I cover all the hook velcro with the pile velcro first...then i spray the entire rig with Simple Green...let it sit for 10 minutes...then put the entire rig in a tub with warm water and a cap full of woolite. I hand aggitate it for a few minutes the I scrub the entire rig with a soft brissled brush. Once I'm done with that I'll put the rig into the wash machine on Gentle cycle and cold water and run it thru an entire wash cycle WITHOUT detergent. This gives it a very good rinsing. Then I let it hang dry for as long as it takes to dry. After it's dry I also the apply a coat of scoth gaurd so it's much easier to clean next time. And it shouldn't have to be said but be sure to take the entire rig apart before you start and don't forget to remove that data card.
  7. This would be the perfect thread for Mujie to post the other pic of the tattoo on her back
  8. Here are my tats... the back is the oldest at 12 years..and it's the hardest to take a photo of by yourself...lol...anyway...it's the St.Louis Co. Fire Academy Tat.....the chest tat is 10 years and the leg tat is also 10 years old and it's my favorite of the 3...and yes I'm aware that I mispelled tattoo on the attachments...it was done for a reason so that I could resize the pics without altering the originals.
  9. I brew my own beer and do about 6 to 8 cases each year....it might not sound like alot but thats alot of work. I have some great recipes for a dark ale and a light english ale....those are my two favorites to make.
  10. Well I'll admit to being in the femur rod club....jump #497 and it ended with a big HOOK and BANG. Left femur fracture midshaft. But I do have to admit that the pain meds were great
  11. As a rigger I know it wouldn't upset me to have someone ask another rigger a second opinion. Hell I'm not afraid to ask another rigger for his/hers opinion when something doesn't look right or if I get stumped on something.
  12. Totally GREAT vibes sent out for Lew....she was so cool when she flew video for my group there at the convention....Heal fast and hopefully see you back in the air real soon.
  13. PARTY!!!PARTY!!!PARTY!!! your only young once and if it's done right then once is enough
  14. green wire is the ground...it should be screwed to the junction box somewhere....whiteand blue wire to white wire and black wire to black wire....the blue is the hot wire for the fan and sometimes the house is set up to have a seperate switch for the lights and the fan but if not just connect the white and blue wire to the white wire in the box

  16. I know of one that I pack that did get used. Pilot experienced a fire in an aerobatic plane and I guess he felt he couldn't control it and jumped.
  17. I think she came out and did a tandem with me last weekend....or it was someone who some with the same build...SHORT and FAST (the politically correct way to describe that build)...Oh the joys of being a tandem instructor
  18. Well unfortunatly That got Deleted too. Cleaned up everything that night. E-mails..papers laying around..the bathroom....did the dishes...House and computer are all clean. Unfortunatly It left me confirmationless But on the bright side my house is all spic and span
  19. DAMN DAMN DAMN......I lost my WFFC registration confirmation letter. I kinda have this bad feeling that it got tossed during one of my drunken cleaning binges. Unfortunatly this isn't the first time I've thrown something away while cleaning my house drunk and it probly won't be the last. I've e-mailed the WFFC and confessed to my lack of brain cells. Anyone else know what to do in this situation. I'm sure I'm not the first that this has happened to.
  20. Tested all five of my pins and probly another 10 or 12 of my rigging customers and all have passed
  21. I let my students help fly the canopy until I start my landing pattern. If they are a first time jumper then I do the landing pattern and landing myself. If they are going thru the tandem progression into the AFF program then I let them help with the landing pattern on their third jump but we practice the landing and flare 3 times above 2000' and if they don't respond correctly in the practice then I do the landing myself.
