  3. i like those thin stretched out clouds. 80-85 degrees ground temp, 10-12 mph winds N-S direction. NS winds make for good beach jump conditions here.
  4. A four way team (videographer included) and coach take the Caravan up for a training jump. "Industrial haze" is fairly thick at this point. The green light goes on, video climbs out, tail climbs out, then the pilot yells no. everyone climbs back in. Light goes on again, vid shows all team members and coach kneeling on teh edge of the door shaking heads, as nothign can be seen below the haze, then shrugging shoulders, climbing out, exit, etc. One landed at a ball bearings plant, another in a farm, others at home depot. dumb idea.

Upon arrival, my friend had left some stuff on teh table for me- $$, a binder of porno flicks, bottle of cuervo 1800, some nice smokes, and handcuffs. great friends! house is a huge meditteranean, had free reign of the jaccuzzi tub, etc etc... htey are both artists, so the place was immaculate. Cross Keys-ites, watch out, trouble returns next weekend!!!

  22. skyventure runs about $10/minute hour blocks are 600, half hours 300, you get the idea. coachign is usually additional, the tunnel itself can refer you to some. there are camps as well, that are usually a prretty good deal, including flying time, coach, soemtimes meals and hotel.
  23. hey- last diver is my favorite slot on big ways, here's what i do. Usually we exit a tailgate for big ways. When exiting to get a good dive, imagine putting your head between your feet. obviously teh wind will not let this happen, you will end up in a dive, almost head down in nature. keep the formation in view, i belly out when the formation is about 50 feet from me vertically. I always stay along the perimeter, watch it build from there. At abotu 50 feet I just use a stronger arched belly position to close the distance. Keep in mind that as a formation builds it loses speed: that 180 mph base is going to quickly drop back to 120 or so, be prepared. Approach the formation on level and always stop fully before you take grips. hope this helps!
