front page, ew. i use dreamweaver sometimes, always edit/revise with notepad. when i write the code myself i know exactly what's going to show up on the page.

I loved MOnks when I lived in Philly. and I HATE you for having Chimay on tap. that just makes me mad. people here think yuengling is a delicacy. WTF???!!!! that's it, i'm walking to Monks. be there in about a month.

ya know, a friend and i were having an interesting discussion about this. i believe one thought was that so long as you're not adding to the numbers then whatever is fair game. i laughed at that. comes down to who, what, where, when, why, and how for fun. as for permanent i have my interests. will leave things at that.

if you let enough pizza boxes pile up you could have yourself a nice end table.

you better shower before friday, i'm stuck in that tiny tunnel bench area for 2 hours with you and boxman, if it stinks i'm not going to be happy.

first of all check out all the DZs in FL. I've found myself migrating lately. even migrating i find myself still running into the same people. from orlando, sebastian/deland/zhills are all close. give or take an hour. each DZ has its own little perks, Sebastian has Lyle Presse there who is always a lot of fun and seb XL and of course the freaks as well- deland has majik/canopy school/sweet bar/freaks, ZHills has TKs antics/muff bros, etc... SDA has the carbones who are a riot/Olav/sweet bar.... you get the idea. each DZ has otters and other fast aircraft. sebastian and deland have fiull time tailgates in the winter (skyvans) that are FAST, SDAs otter is lightning fast, etc. it's florida, dropzones are abundant. travel, meet lots of people, network. jumping at one dz here is like trying to buy all your clothes in one store. it just ain't gonna happen. i'm starting to split myself between SDA and sebastian. as for beer, i'm making a mental note that jraf buys beer. i will give a report after my tunnel excursion and trip to zhills this weekend!! he has to buy it now. happy jumping~

If you will be at deland there are plenty of resources there that will help you out in the tunnel (schedule permitting). Call up manifest @ deland and explain you are looking for a tunnel coach or call up teh tunnel, tell them you will be at deland and flying an extended amount of time. someone will be able to set you up. for that much time and just starting out in RW or 4way, whatever, you definitely want someone to coach you, at least initially.

one exercise that we were taught by coaches in learning to time exit counts and leave the plane together (simulated) is to get your team to huddle together. whoever does your count goes through whatever is normal for you (shake, down out, ready set go, whatever) on the "go" everyone jumps up. this can be done everywhere and gets people to work timing together. it looks incredibly strange to people watching, 4 huddled people hopping around, but it really works. Otherwise, you can watch movies like 4'99, which shows airspeed going through exits for all blocks and randoms. the pools have changed now slightly, but most of the stuff is still in there. You'll start to notice similarities between certain exits, etc. Practicing door jams is always a good idea. better to find out on the ground that someone is lining up too far back or forward in the door than at 10.5 K when things all of a sudden just don't go right... also decide which formations you are going to launch and which ones you are going to launch with cheater grips, etc. example being a snowflake exit, a lot of teams launch a meeker instead and change grips out the door. when creeping always do an exit count on the creepers. timing is everything.

the weekend of the 18th i believe. probably later in the day on saturday as i have to jump with a 16 way group at another DZ earlier. i'll be there in time for beer-thirty though

write to PD and tell them that small velocities have now been tested and can be used safely for tandem skydiving. see what they say.

you get to wear the dick hat next time. that's what you get to do!!!!! i dunno, i did nothign wrong on that skydive. there innocent tami and i were, flying smiling for the camera, then BAM! judedre knocks into me from above and i plow down onto whit who went low. someone else took me out before that too i believe. ay.

i'll be in zhills next weekend and cross keys the weekend after. we'll schedule a 10-2 date on the weekend after that. everyone can have 3 weeks to recover from me before trouble comes back. hope you and scotty don't have any illigitimate puppies by then!!!

funny that you say this... the word "hybrid" was not mentioned anywhere. In fact, I CLEARLY remember scotty yelling "none of that freeflying stuff, this is a belly jump." hmmmmmm

I thought initially that I wanted to be a freeflier. I tried it and it really didn't do much for me. I ended up dabbling in FF and RW for my first season. I went to the tunnel during the winter after that season and really got turned on to RW. now i'm addicted to 4way, the tunnel and all that comes with... i still play around occasionally with FF< but RW is home

i believe that was the same dive where whit took me out twice (hey atleast he's accurate!) and banged me into the other guy who went low. it's hard to track in those hats!!!

2 dropzones in one day:4:1 went up to sebastian on sat and due to tandems and a team training loads were realllllly backed up. i didn't get to jump last weekend so this frustrated me and my new rig slightly. called up pahokee and drove down there. did a jump with scotty and tami et al wearing goofy hats (i'm lucky to be alive!!) heard some awesome stories and had af ew beers. there's definitely an amazing vibe at pahokee and the place is beautiful. i showed up with my case of beer, much to the locals delight. met jujudre (something like that), omri heading out, freeflyfreaky, and a few others that i can't remember. i'll be causing trouble in ZHills next weekend, anyone going to be around?

went to SD America this afternoon due to long waits for loads at my home DZ. i walked in teh door at 3:30 PM and before I could even write my name on the waiver Scotty was grabbing me for some fiasco dive . something involving me getting taken out twice and wearing what was referred to as the "dick hat." huh. people there made me feel totally at home and didn't let me breathe after arriving. had a few beers with tami, scotty cooked up a sweet dinner, and met some awesome people. SDA has an amazing vibe! i'll be back tomorrow!!!

Just make sure if you do staic line they don't mix the ropes up. It would be horrible to get the 60 second rope on your first jump. YIKES! haha....
